81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $188 million worth of BTC to unknown address from unknown on: January 01, 2021, 03:45:58 AM

6,427.2734 BTC have moved a few minutes ago from an unknown address to another unknown address. What doy ou think? Another institutional investor who bought OTC? A lot of institution showing interest on moving their treasury into bitcoin.
May be new year will be the one for which holder HODL.

Happy New Year

We can only speculate.

It could be a whale selling, and it could be a whale moving from one place to another for security reasons to whatever other reasons. More important for me is that even if somebody is selling $188m worth of coins, another person or institution is buying it at the current prices.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [IEO] ⚡AMEPAY- Crypto ⇌ Retail. IEO in BKEX + Listing in Bithumb Global 🔥 on: January 01, 2021, 01:55:10 AM
Im still watching for the announcement that will be coming very soon about when the trade for ame token will begin.
It's really very funny, you joined the campaign but you don't know about that even though in the telegram and the above post if trading is done now, I was also a little surprised when it was only a few minutes trading but the volume was very large, does BKEX have a history of fake volume? or is it all real?
https://www.bkex.com/trade/AME_USDT

IMO the volume is real. I was watching the trading in the past hour and everything seems fine for now.

The price is already +50% from the IEO! Will we see it at 1000% soon?
83  Economy / Economics / Re: This is why bitcoin HAS to go up on: December 31, 2020, 03:28:16 AM
A 20% de facto devaluation of the dollar has occurred this year:

Almost a fifth of ALL US dollars were created this year.

And what's left to come. The price of bitcoin does not depend only on supply and demand. It also depends on the appreciation or depreciation of the currency with which it is compared. With the current times, much more currency is going to be printed and much more is going to be devalued. Seeing the price in fiat getting higher and higher, demand is going to increase due to FOMO.

See you on the moon.

You are right, the dollar hit the lowest level since 2018 to a basket of other fiats and I guess the down rally will continue with the new 2trn bill signed a couple of days ago.

Printing machines are working on 1000% and the dollar will lose even more value in the next couple of months or more.
84  Economy / Economics / Re: which will u choose to buy on: December 31, 2020, 02:06:13 AM
what are you gonna do if u have millions dollars of cash ? are  you  gonna spend it all for ferrari high class car or invest bitcoin for survive ?

IMO buying a Ferrari or any other expensive toy is the last thing any sane person should do, counting this million as the only asset.

I would invest in REIT, some crypto, some own properties and dividend stocks. I would love to secure a decent cash flow with this million.
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Way to Carry Your Seed When Traveling Or Moving Abroad? on: December 31, 2020, 01:28:40 AM
Custom seed - I picked up a public domain book and my feed is the X word from page Y, X+1 & Y+1, etc. Thus my seed is always online, always accessible through the internet and yet always hidden.
Now that you've made your setup public, anyone familiar with you in person and enough incentive will be able to figure it out and find your seed and steal your coins.
Good luck with that!

IMO this is even harder than just brute-force combining every the possible allowed word in the dictionary. There are millions of free public domain books online (https://lifehacker.com/access-millions-of-free-books-added-to-the-public-domai-1837073153, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Public_domain).

i assume you didn't actually post the full algorithm publicly?

if it's just privately written down/stored, then it's just an encrypted seed---not the best encryption, but no one who finds it will instantly be able to break it.

keep in mind however, that for anyone remotely sophisticated who is able to take time brute forcing, there are only "millions" of possible combinations. that's not secure at all. i wouldn't consider it sufficiently encrypted to store publicly. it's a lot better than storing a seed in plain text though.

You are right, of course, it's not the full algorithm, neither the exact.

'Crypting and coding' algorithm like that are used by people from centuries. I first pick up the idea of reading some historical books in the pre-internet era for a different purpose. Then put in action for crypto wallet a few years ago after watching "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows". Professor James Moriarty notes are coded in a similar way.

87  Economy / Gambling / Re: *** CryptoGamblersPub *** Exchange between/inside crypto gambling sites on: December 30, 2020, 12:41:59 AM
-snip

Fees are not this big.

I meant the blockchain fees, not the fees of your service.

IMO your fees are very reasonable especially when anybody wants to transfer a small amount between the supported sites.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the benefits of buying XRP at present? on: December 29, 2020, 10:27:31 PM
Since the price of XRP is the lowest at the present time, what is the possibility of profit if I buy it at the present time? This project will not be in the market and will go away.

None Grin

Even if SEC stops with the cases and Ripple regain some value, you will gain much more if you put your money into Bitcoin or Ether.

IMO Ripple is done. It will continue to exist as some niche corporate coin, and that's all.
89  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Way to Carry Your Seed When Traveling Or Moving Abroad? on: December 29, 2020, 03:12:53 AM
I will tell you what I'm using, you will decide is it good for you.

Custom seed - I picked up a public domain book and my feed is the X word from page Y, X+1 & Y+1, etc. Thus my seed is always online, always accessible through the internet and yet always hidden.

No need of encryption or anything, it's saved only in my head.
90  Economy / Gambling / Re: *** CryptoGamblersPub *** Exchange between/inside crypto gambling sites on: December 29, 2020, 02:17:35 AM
Idea is really cool, but the main problem is that there are few sites which are supported, we need to see more gambling sites and then the resource will have a huge demand and many gamblers will join it, because CGP can make things connected with gambling more comfortable and easier

Due to the high fees, it's a good and useful service even with just three supported sites.

OP, do you plan to add more site soon like Duckdice and Yolodice as I play mainly on these two?
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can go to Zero on: December 28, 2020, 03:41:46 AM
Here is why

Before the fiat system collapse btc can go to Zero.
It might happend when SEC will come after exchangers and stable coins.

Its not gona happend becouse btc value will be zero it might happend becouse the btc price comes from the Computer system wich reading the prices of the exchangers.

The indicator for price are fiat e, g the stable coins.
If you cut off the stable coins the value of stable coins will be zero then you have no way to calculate btc price in fiat.

The Bitcoin purpose is not you to get rich or anyone to get rich its to transfer current system in to blockchain smooth way as possible.
and its correlated with federal reserve activity
I will search more about this issue...

Neither will fiat system collapse nor bitcoin will go to zero.
Cryptocurrencies are so small and niche product compared to the glocal finance system that it's not even worth the effort to explain it.
92  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽ 🏈 AceDBets.io🥇Multi Crypto SportsBook🏆[NoKYC🤖][Fast Deposit & Cashout🚀] 🏀 🎾 on: December 28, 2020, 03:07:38 AM
So month ago i placed this bets at AcedDBets.io

https://ibb.co/CzDgsGp
https://ibb.co/zHLnbQW

I was told they void my bets cause
1)i places bets after match started (?)
2)odd was wrong

I was surprised as you can see in the image i place my bets at 10:35 and 10:50 and match started at 11:00. But I didnt have proof for claim 2) as i couldnt find any web where i can check odds until today when i find this here https://es.betsapi.com/rt/2960362/Alec-Beckley-v-Sidane-Pontjodikromo

https://ibb.co/87Cg4m4

They took odds from betclic (you can see in the image how price moved prematch) provider and because i won big amount they decide to void! That morning i place more similar bets that were lost and they set them void too! Like eh! Lets void lost bets too so we can say there was an error with provider!!!

Why don't you open a scam accusation topic?

I think you have to open a scam accusation topic.

I want to see what will AceDBets answer as I was about to test them. I'm looking for more bookies without KYC.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitwise Sells XRP Holdings as Ripple Faces a New Lawsuit on: December 27, 2020, 01:23:36 AM
Bitwise sells XRP holdings as Ripple faces a new lawsuit https://crypto.co/technology/bitwise-sells-xrp-holdings-as-ripple-faces-a-new-lawsuit/. What do you think about this move made by Bitwise? We can see that Ripple (XRP) is showing some recovery since yesterday, will it continue to not?

It seems that the XRP dumping will continue until it's gone for good.

Yesterday Bitstamp said taht they are going to halt XRP trading and deposits for all US customers on January 8, 2021. If we see a few more big names selling and another suit, XRP will go under ten cents for sure.
94  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Local sports book, arbs? on: December 26, 2020, 10:48:58 PM

It's close to impossible to make arbs with local bookies. The stated odds on the brochure are for illustration purposes and different when you are placing real bets.

Local bookies rarely can provide good odds because they have to pay more taxes, salaries, rent, etc.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Current market conditions on: December 26, 2020, 03:03:37 AM
IMO the market will be calmer and with less volume in the next 15 days while people are celebrating Christmas, New Year and then Russian (Orthodox) Christmas on 7th Jan. Then we could see more activity and movements.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can we still profit from Ripple? on: December 25, 2020, 02:34:19 AM
After my last reply about that Ripple is stable at 27c and how I'm still hesitated to go long on Ripple, it jumped to 34c.

For the record, I didn't go long at the end and kept my profit from shortening it in the first place after the SEC suit alert.

Closing the topic to avoid spam.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the best Gold-backed cryptocurrency on the market right now? on: December 25, 2020, 02:11:39 AM
IMO Paxos Gold will prevail over DGX, but both are stable.

The only gold-backed token I'm avoiding is Tether Gold (XAUT). If SEC goes after Therher (USDT) or they failed to prove $20bn in reserves, people will make a bad name association.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can we still profit from Ripple? on: December 24, 2020, 03:15:12 AM
I think ripple will return to 0.2 or even below. it could be worse if the SEC finds another error. there is currently a deeper investigation into this issue. I think that as long as it's going on, ripple doesn't have the possibility to go up. so maybe this will be a bad fall for ripple. prepare for the worst and start securing your funds.

Ripple looks "stable" in the past couple of hours after the yesterday halt. This is "positive" counting that now it's daytime in the US, e.g. SEC working time.
That's why I'm considering to gamble for more profit now and go long on it.

But on second thought, I may wait for under 20c...
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Litecoin Ready for a Major Breakout? on: December 24, 2020, 02:28:08 AM
TBH I don't find a valid reason behind the Litecoin soar more than other alts. It's old coin, nobody really uses it, no smart-contract, no anything.

This puzzles me and for now, I'm staying away from LTC.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Can we still profit from Ripple? on: December 24, 2020, 01:05:33 AM
I don't like Ripple at all.

Yesterday I shorted at Bitmex at 2x and today I closed my position for a hefty profit at 28c.

BUT now I start thinking... where should be the bottom? 10c? 1c? ZERO? Can we profit if it tanks enough? What are the chances of short recovery?

What is your speculation - where will be the bottom?
