As promised, http://www.uplexamining.com is now up!
It's still early days, and I will work on it over the coming weeks.

We aim to provide;

- A database of user-submitted performance figures, specific to uPelxa
- An overview of the project
- Links and live stats of our public pools
- Mining instructions for all supported mining applications (right now, that's just one)

Please feel free to submit your performance data. It could help other miners determine what hardware to buy!

http://www.uplexamining.com

Hi Everyone! We've decided to set uPlexamining.com up to help newbies and experienced miners alike. On our site, you’ll find information about the uPlexa project, instructions on how to mine uPlexa, expected performance of CPU’s/GPU’s, and updates from our wonderful Pool Operators and uPlexa team!

Check out our current list of confirmed CPU hashrates on our Hardware Benchmarks page, and help us develop a solid set of data by submitting your own figures!

The site will be developed over the coming weeks, and any feedback/requests are welcome on here or via the official uPlexa Discord.

Thanks!

For anyone interested in mining, my farm is made up predominantly of 2660 0's and 2650 v2's (E5's).
I thought I'd post the optimum hash rates and configs for XMRig for these (plus two other laptop based procs I have).

Might come in useful if everyone can share their best configs as well!

i5-7300U - 630H/s
Config: 2 threads, low power mode 1, affine to CPU 0,2 (Windows)

i7-8550U - 1600H/s
Config: 4 threads, low power mode 1, affine to CPU 0,2,4,6 (Windows)

E5-2660 0 - 2550H/s
Config: 16 threads, low power mode 1, affine to CPU false (Ubuntu)

E5-2650 v2 - 2900H/s
Config: 16 threads, low power mode 1, affine to CPU false (Ubuntu)

These are all with Huge Pages enabled and CPU max set to 99%.
I'll try and set something more official up so everyone can contribute.

Hi everyone!
I have participated in UPlexa project.
I have around 200k UPX mined and recommend for everyone to participating and mining UPlexa while it's no so difficult.
Please explain on why would you recommend for anyone to mine UPlexa. People mine bitcoin to get profit, so it is profitable for those miners?

It's recommended in the new-project space, due to the level of engagement from the core team, and the snowballing of community input.
People are rapidly becoming more interested in projects that might be able to deliver real-world solutions, and not just act as a store of wealth.

Profitable? Not yet, codebase was released 2 weeks ago and it's not listed on exchanges yet. Profitable soon/eventually? No doubt; the early interest is too great and the potential for real-world application is very real.

Team - great project thus far! It's one of the chattiest Discords I've been a part of, and the engagement with your early adopters has been second to none.
I kinda of know what the deal is with these via Discord, but they're questions that folks on here will love to keep up to date on;

- How are you getting on with listing the coin on exchanges? What kind of timeline are we looking at? Before Christmas?
- Have there been any significant alterations to your original timeline, or has everything go to plan so far?
- In keeping with the ethos of the project, you officially support a CPU miner, but we're now starting to see a few GPU miners pop up from the community. Do you have any reservations about these and the effect they may have on the IoT philosophy?

Thanks! Keep up the good work!
