What is RSK?
RSK is the first open source Smart Contract platform secured by the Bitcoin Network. • Merge Mining - RSK is the first smart contract platform built as a sidechain to Bitcoin that rewards the Bitcoin miners via merge-mining, allowing them to actively participate in the RSK Smart Contract ecosystem. Bitcoin miners that participate in RSK's merge mining secure the blockchain, and receive compensation for the execution of smart contracts.

• Federation - Federation members are notaries who act as bitcoins guardians in the Bitcoin-RSK Bridge, obeying the network rules. Federation members are recognized companies within the cryptocurrency industries.


• RSK Name Service - RNS is a decentralized service that allows users to have a readable domain or alias. It can be used to identify other personal resources, such as payment or communication addresses.
