81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we stop bitcoin scammers? on: November 03, 2020, 11:02:50 PM
Can you stop evil? NO. So, can you stop scammers? Hell Nah! You can only stop yourself from being scammed. There will always be scammers out there. You need to learn how to identify and repel them.
Exactly. But we cannot blame those victims or those who will be because they are just tempted by the idea of earning profit. Making a research about something is not really expensive but victims might be fooled for a reason. This reason could be conformity. If many people engaged into something, there will be s trust that things won't go wrong. What's sad is that in every scam issue, there are lot of people being victims.

scammers wont scam with one to two people only but they want to scam many people at once to make the scam worth it because its hard to start again because people are gonna be looking for them and they need to construct another plan that are new to the eyes of the people .

the only way to gather more people to join is to start as paying , this way people will think its profitable and trusted then they will recomend it to thier friends , nieghbors and people they know .

You're somewhat right. However, there are different techniques to know if a project or idea is a scam. I find it annoying when people fall into obvious scams like money doubling, Ponzi schemes, etc. Some of the ways to identify if a project is a scam. No website, no team members info (if there's a website), asking for deposits, contacted you randomly(mostly on telegram). There are more. You sure can google your way through.

83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin isn't money and that isn't bad! on: November 02, 2020, 09:51:49 PM
Let's get something here. Firstly, what's money? In as much as money means hard cash in form of bank notes, iteans wealth and a lot other things too. My own definitely of money in this case is anything you can use to pay for some goods or services. Some coffee shops accept bitcoin already. Online store accept bitcoin too (all as a means of payment [MONEY]). Adding to that, it's only a matter of time as more and more parts of the world adopt and use it. How then do you not classify bitcoin as money? What more do you need to see bitcoin used for?
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did You Face any Problem with BTC Confirmation? on: November 02, 2020, 09:44:51 PM
Are you kidding? BTC transactions can take up to two weeks?! What is the problem behind this and how can this be explained, discovered, and resolved. Because it is a weak point if I'm goina tell any other person about bitcoin and its usage.
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Follow your mind! on: November 01, 2020, 11:59:37 AM
You see, all three problems mentioned by the OP are common problems faced by majority of the traders. It's more like a gambler who knows what gambling is and yet goes to borrow money to gamble. And then having the greediest expectation forgetting that there's a tendency of things going wrong. If you try warning them, they won't listen. They just do their own thing and most times end up with much failure. Just ask around or observe. The average trader who is doing well doesn't have any of these three characters. My advice to new traders entering the market -> Avoid the above 3 characters and you're good for trade. They are the major reasons traders fail.
86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 12 years after Bitcoin whitepaper was released on: November 01, 2020, 11:53:23 AM
PayPal accepting bitcoin happens to be one of the best news for the bitcoin white paper anniversary. I'm pretty much sure that wherever Satoshi Nakamoto is, he'd be glad to see that his goal is achieved on a daily basis. BTW, the anniversary was yesterday. Cheesy
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: While we're on Halloween, Remember this date! on: October 31, 2020, 08:22:44 PM
Halloween, or all hallows evening, evolved from the Celtic  Samhain festival. This marked the end of the summer, and preparation for the start of the New Year on November 1st. So much of the Elite/Banking creations seem to have associations with the old mystic festivals. Some may consider this as an indication that Satoshi was in fact one of the covens of the Elite world.

Mock if you will, but there seem to be too many of these coincidences and associations.
It's a pretty plausible idea, only a few days ago I was wondering why Satoshi chose the Halloween as Bitcoin's beginning. I personally think it's quite silly to completely disagree with a plausible idea about Satoshi's origins as we have just no idea about his identity besides the way he writes and active times on the forum.

Around the 3rd of January, the Earth is at the closest point to the Sun as well. These things are quite interesting, although lots of people think they're BS. The Elite surely do follow their meanings - most of the important dates, buildings etc have a specific meaning in numerology and it almost always links up. Smiley

Exactly! These dates as I believe are not coincidences. There's some sort of reason and connection behind it. He could have started off in 2008 at once but no, he took it down to 2009 and this to me proves that most / all of his move were fully calculated.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / While we're on Halloween, Remember this date! on: October 31, 2020, 01:11:05 PM
While we're on Halloween, 🎃, bitcoin enthusiast like us have decided to celebrate this day in which the bitcoin white paper was published ("A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System"). I read an article in which there was a point on why Satoshi Nakamoto decided to publish the white paper on the 31st of October and waited a for 2 more months before starting the network (in 2009). According to the article, it was probably because during festive periods like now, most people are more concerned about Halloween, and mostly Christmas. Considering that this can is a distraction, it seemed to be a reason why the white paper was published on 31st October 2008 and then started the network on 3rd January.

This drawing won't show 👆 don't know why.

Don't mind the imperfection tho.

BTW, that's how I celebrate such a day. If you're really a bitcoin enthusiast, How do you celebrate yours?
89  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 12 years and no country has approved Bitcoin ?? on: October 30, 2020, 10:47:52 PM
:)Bitcoin was launched in 2007. It's 12 years and still no country has approved Bitcoin ??   Huh

Who said so? A few of these countries have allowed their citizens to deal with crypto. Just that they won't publicly declare it.

Quote
and in 2018, 2nd richest man "Warren Buffet" said "bitcoin will end up badly" Smiley
And what? You're agreeing with that already? Judging from it's present movement, it doesn't seem to be going wrong. So this isn't something to rely on.
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin changed after 10 years? Does it still have same benefits? on: October 29, 2020, 08:53:49 PM
You've got a Great point here. TBH, In as much as I do cherish bitcoin, I do not like using it because of the expensive fee attached. I remember the last time I sent bitcoin, the transaction fee was not worth smiling at. Now it's more disappointing to see that the fee has rather multiplied. Maybe because of too many transactions to verify, maybe not. But, it'll be of great advantage if this fee can be well-reduced, or if possible, pegged at a particular price.
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin reach $20k fee will be huge? on: October 29, 2020, 08:43:37 PM

I do not think that the fee is dependent on the present price of bitcoin. As we all may know had already touched 20k. I believe it is dependent on the number of transactions to be confirmed or so. However, it is not about the price.

93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a new investment on: October 28, 2020, 08:00:49 PM
Your last two words "earn money"... We really need to stop looking at bitcoin as a means of earning. Yes, it can be a means of earning but, it's core purpose is to use it as a currency. And if we try a bit more to focus on this, people's concept of bitcoin could be less misleading.
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Algeria must use bitcoin on: October 28, 2020, 07:55:21 PM
Nice to see the movie... But then, no one would support what they don't have much info about. You really need to write out some more info. Until then, I'm not really sure you'll have supporters who'll make any donations.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think this is the start of mass adoption in Bitcoin? or Nah? on: October 28, 2020, 07:21:04 PM
Awareness reached a very high point some time ago, what we need is to make those that are aware of bitcoin to finally adopt it and to me the whole deal of the pandemic has opened the eyes of many people, they realized that in the case something goes awfully wrong they cannot depend on the government and while there is no link between this new train of thought and bitcoin people are slowly beginning to connect the dots, what if a new economic crisis bigger than anything we have seen during this generation hit us? Will the government protect us or will it protect itself and those in power? And if the answer is the latter then what can I do to protect myself? And bitcoin will be without a doubt one of the answers many people will find to their predicament.

No man. Not about awareness. People are already aware of bitcoin and we all know this. What I'm trying to say is that they were aware and for some reason they decided not to use it. PayPal accepting / supporting bitcoin means that the people who trust PayPal will likely agree to use bitcoin. However, I did get your point.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin could destroy economy on: October 27, 2020, 08:54:14 PM
Yes, bitcoin could destroy economy. However, none of what you said is a point to support that. You say that bitcoin could be abused in the case where criminals are involved. But you shouldn't forget that before the year 2009, they've been thieves, kidnappers, and all sort of fraudsters. Bitcoin isn't bringing them cause they have always been there. Let's just get something clear; bitcoin is damn essential in the today's world. Presently in the country where I'm from, the banks won't let you spend much from "your account". There's this monthly spending limit and to go above it, you'll have to write a letter... Long story short, with bitcoin, if I do have 10 bitcoin, I can choose to spend it immediately. Whenever, however, wherever. But the bank won't allow such. It's a good thing to see that some people are really accepting bitcoin in their stores. Reducing the rate at which people convert crypto to fiat.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for Christmas on: October 27, 2020, 07:52:42 PM
Paper wallets with bitcoin in it sounds like a cool idea. When you give it to them, they'll surely be confused at first but you'd have to give them a short lecture on what you gave them. Else, it could look like you "cast pearls before swines". You don't want that.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not store your wallet on the exchange, store it on your crypto wallet. on: October 27, 2020, 07:43:47 PM
I really hope that every newbie sees this. Most of these exchanges are not secured. Specifically when you cannot export your wallet. Newbies seem to buy and store their bitcoin on exchanges an this is so wrong as exchanges cab be hacked at any moment. To any newbie reading this, please download a recommended wallet and store your crypto (not on an exchange).

100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for salary on: October 26, 2020, 08:15:04 PM
You should know that it may not be convenient for them. Let's say their pay is $200. Sending $200 worth of bitcoin wouldn't be cool or encouraging. If you want to pay them in bitcoin and still have them happy, send the $200 with extra. You should consider the fee it'll cost them to exchange and withdraw it to fiat too. Also, before doing this, ask them their opinion to see how they feel about it(Because it won't be a good idea if it is pressurized)
