Whoever wants to solo mine it can be simply done from the wallet  -> open console (Help-> Debug window-> Console) and enter setgenerate true . You can define how many cores you want to use for mining by adding a number at the end of command -> setgenerate true 2  (I believe you can also limit by CPU %). Type Help for more information about commands

There is a GPU miner and you can also use it to solo mine (or if you find a pool). If anyone is interested I will provide a link to it.

Nova exchange is not really interested in solving the issue with the wallet. We offered two solutions but it looks like they are just ignoring that.
In case they accept to start with a fresh (blank wallet), I would ask all you guys that have Q2C on their exchange to make a proof of the amount which you have there so later I can reimburse.

OK I found out (from one developer) that transaction too large is because of too many inputs to the wallet. In other words (if I understood correctly) you can't send more than about 860 inputs and that means if you were mining and getting 1 Q2C reward, you will not be able to send more than 860 Q2C. That is if you increase the the fee to 5 Q2C per transaction (-maxtxfee=5).

I tested all this and the only way to go around it is to manually move coins by 860 to another wallet and then you should be able to do one transaction (depending how much you have) and move back the whole amount back to original wallet. It takes a little bit of time but it is one time only.

If you also have larger inputs in your wallet, you can enable Coin Control Feature option and select only small amounts of inputs to be sent. Settings->Options->Wallet->Enable coin control features. After this on SEND page at the top you will get the option to select Inputs manually.

I will try to see with Nova exchange if somehow we can swap wallets to make it right. Not sure if it can be done.

I am trying to get wallet issues resolved. Since I am not a developer I would like you guys to list all the things that need to be fixed.
Once we fix that we can think about adding some other features.

Thanks

You were certainly not the only one who was doing that.
I really don't understand you. You were doing everything to keep the block chain running and now when situation is getting better you are posting such stupid things.
If you really mean well for QubitCoin, you will stop spamming and start helping.
Will not argue with you anymore...

kOstas,
there is no need to post these kind of things. It is obvious that dev overlooked the name of the coin. It's good that you noticed it but send PM to me or willowrose directly and it will be corrected.
I already sent you PM regarding your posting in this thread but you still continue to undermine everything we are trying to do here. You probably had a lot of Q2C which you lost/deleted and now, out of anger, you are trying to find every little bug/thing which will put down the coin.

I am not a developer but as far as I know this wasn't the case. We were using both versions past few weeks and it was working OK. I am trying to contact willowrose (developer).

Until we resolve all this I think all of us should use only new version.

If the block difference is only 3000 or 4000 (between two blockchains) and someone lost coins from that period, I will reimburse all (I just need some proof). Hope this is OK.

I will see with willowrose what is going on.
Thanks for reporting.

What happened originally that caused this coin to become delisted or was thought to be dead?  Why the revival?  Thanks

Original developer suddenly disappeared/abandoned the coin. From that moment, everything started going downhill.

Why the revival? Why not? Smiley Coin is working fine. It is simple, user friendly. We found people who are willing to work on this coin.
There are lots of coins on the market and they are mostly produced for a pump and dump scheme. Qubitcoin survived for more than 2 years (most of that time without a proper developer team). We have some ideas for QubitCoin which will hopefully make it more popular for users.
Yes, there are probably few people that are still holding bigger amounts of Q2C but, as I already said, most of the coins are forever lost. You might see addresses with large amount of coins on the rich list but that doesn't mean that those wallets haven't been deleted or forgotten somewhere.

QubitCoin should appear on one of the exchanges during next week or so, hopefully Smiley

To start mining from the wallet, open the console and type in setgenerate true 1 where 1 represents number of CPU cores to be used for mining. If you leave out this number, mining will fully load CPU.

As wgd already mentioned, big part of already mined coins are lost/forgotten/deleted due to the fact that people thought that this coin is dead.

You can still mine this coin directly form the wallet or using a miner.

We will be doing the translations but not right now. I will contact you guys for translation.

If there is enough interest, we can open a pool.

As holydarkness already said, we are offering bounties for compiling faucet and games.

Also, new ideas and suggestions are always welcome. Smiley

Still can't connect...which port you use for nodes, 70001 or ..?

my qubitcoin.conf:

rpcuser=xxxxxxx
rpcpassword=xxxxxxx
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=7799
port=7788
server=1
addnode=5.49.149.74:Huh??
addnode=188.0.182.10
addnode=188.2.19.186
addnode=2.85.54.236
addnode=146.185.28.178

Just as a test, before running the wallet, try turning off completely firewall in your router and on the computer. Start the wallet and if it connects (wait a little bit), you found your problem Smiley

I use 0.8.4.3 wallet and still no connections....last block is 1900984.

If you open block explorer and network page, you will see recently active nodes which you can add to your node list in the wallet.

Here is the block explorer that our friend a.i.a made Smiley

http://qubitxplorer.cf

Plan is to do a web page (also a.i.a), to update code base to newer version (Willowrose is working on this) and to get us on the exchange (I will arrange this).
This should be (hopefully Smiley) done by the end of this month. At that point we will open a new thread with all important info at one place.

If someone has any suggestions or is willing to help, feel free to jump in Smiley
