Here ya go, my submission for the new logo bounty. Available in any size and format, just let me know Thanks, rewards will be given for your submission. We would prefer flat design of the new logo. We'll release guidelines on OP and arrange a vote for the final new logo. Keep updates. Hi, if you're feeling generous for my submissions way back on page 2, even though there are some better ones now, you could send me a few to FdcDuhs8i9ejz34FF3cu261J6kGN28Cod2 ) Thank you! This coin is great by the way. I think there will probably be many more of these dual algo coins soon but you can say you were the first and I was glad to have been here to mine it!

I'll have to say Fusion coin too, for a couple reasons, it looks likely to actually take off and not fail, it uses SHA and/or Scrypt mining, so anyone can mine it and trade it. I don't personally like Zeit because of the instamine launch, but some others love it. ECC could be good, but I have reservations that it will not be a long lasting coin.

I'm just throwing around ideas to get some ideas flowing around it's okay if you totally hate it lol.

That was fun to watch in the console. Launched at block 90, diff 0. Watched a couple farms kick on, network hash went up 400%. In 27 minutes (20 blocks) diff went over 6, killing solo mining. Didn't find any blocks on this launch, oh well, on to another coin.

Yup, watched mine disappear after the update too. 35k, two blocks I had mined within the first five minutes of launch. That means the whole thing is on the fork that hit it with the big power and broke off. In other words, somebody out there is holding a huge enormous amount of coins now while all the early miners have lost theirs Coolbeans. I backed up my wallet.dat before updating just in case.

Selling 50 Millions CDC for 1 BTC All those coins are worthless when you fork the chain for us all.

Just had a spare Server free, so here is the Pool ready: https://cdc.suprnova.ccHave fun No fee, Stratum+Vdiff and DDoS Protected .. Suprnova you're gonna fork the coin with that one worker at 345 Ghash. I warned you, youre going to screw us all and ruin it.

Michael you can mine it from the client, I'm doing so now. Pool operators: here's your linux source, get goin! https://github.com/CarpeDiemCoin/CarpeDiemLaunch/tree/master/src Oakpools, X-hash, suprnova, leet, where are you at? Dogemoon even? Update 1: The network does seem to be holding stable, so that's a good sign. Yes I am finding tons of blocks in cgminer, but so far only 2 confirmed to network and that's NORMAL for a coins this fast and this early. That's good actually, it means someone else is/was finding those blocks at the same time and got them to network first. Difficulty is retargeting sucessfully it appears. Went from 106 when I got on, to 109, to 13something, to 146, to 183. Looking like the targeting is working, although quicker than 5 minutes, but that's fine right now.

Can someone else please come mine this thing too, I'm getting every 1/3 block literally, and that's not spreading the hash out at all lol

|

Yeah, the mining farm fools had to get greedy and screw the thing for all of us, themselves included, good job guys. I knew it was screwed when I was solomining with my little 1.4 mhash and then suddenly saw the diff go from 1 to 62. Shut it off and knew the big power hit from somewhere had screwed it.

Something's not right here... I also have been on enough of these launches (over 20 now) to know when something is fishy. Well I found 6500 valid coin in the first few seconds and now its all lockedout, getting rejected, and even blocked after valid accepted submisions. Come msg me when/if it ever goes to market so I can dump em. Gotta go mine profitable things. Best of luck peoples

Thanks, youre a rockstar, I was even gonna send 2 with the tip for helping. Ok now that I've got it figured out, there's only one big problem with making these. Trust. So far only the latest Bitcoin uses two-key address creation, so the vanitygen makes an address and the one privkey that you import with the wallet in the Console. Anyone would just have to trust me that I wouldn't later try to import the privkey and use your coins. You can always transfer them right away to another address if you're paranoid. So I don't expect any takers. That's cool. But if anyone is interested, it looks like I can make custom addresses. I made a ton of other coin addresses for people so far in IRC with no problems. Believe me I don't want your coins, I like to mine hard and earn my own. Now for the difficulty, as you might imagine if you know computers, it gets much more difficult to impossible to make bigger customizations. Making an address that starts with just "GPUC" took about 1 minute for the generator, and has a difficulty (diff) of 78505 (yes you're reading that right 78k diff). GPUC1 or something took about 10 minutes and has a difficulty of 4553521. See how it's getting harder? Now GPUCS1 has a difficulty of 264104224 and will take an hour to many hours to generate. My 1Anthro BTC address took all night to generate, just for reference. So if you want a custom address and trust I won't take your coins, it'll be 5 GPUC coins for a "GPUC" or "GPU1" type address, 10 GPUC coins for a "GPUCS" type 5 digit address, and 15 coins for a "GPUCS1" type 6 digit address. Not all prefixes work, like Guuud won't work, but the ones I listed do and I made them. Let me know, or not, idc My new GPUcoin address: GPUCSCSmRo8qXodRyNroMBfdDBeYpnbSJw beautiful lol
