Patience is a virtue.

Thank you for this quest and (rekindling) the tale of treasure. Inspiring.
Perfect display of patience, resourcefulness and persistence.
You have earned those coins and I think you made them more valuable, good luck with the hunt for #10 and clues.

I was here - in a past forum life - and saw this unfold as well, like others who commented here.
Quite the thing... A promise of treasure...

There should be treasure. If not in this adventure, maybe the next...
BTC marks the spot.

Question for Seller: Does this come with COA?

Hi Alamjob,

We have been pondering if we should make mini COA's (with addresses) for these (and sell these in stacks of 4), but decided we should not.
However, we have been working on a COA for our 'regular' bars (series 1, 2 and 3), but got sidetracked in a discussion whether we should make papyrus and do the COA handwritten with pen and ink...
Once the COA's for the regular bars are ready, I think we will backtrack all our customers who bought a regular bar (or offer them here to the new owners - if sold).

Our current mockup for a COA is a bit 'standard', but due to time being our biggest constraint, I think we will stick with it:

Extra info on the LTC Tenths:

- The first three (or four) we made have lasered private keys (on a titanium plate 10 x 10 mm), these have printed private keys (on paper).
- We made about 10 of these and will make 40 or so more the coming months / years.
- If you make a 'Tenth', you also need to make a 'Quarter'... (these will come with addresses)

Short answer:
No, but thanks for asking, we don't have the time (although we are a party of three, it's still a hobby) and are fine in the fringes of this community for now...

83  Economy / Collectibles / [Auction] Lot of 4 Clay Cast LTC Tenths (funded with 0.1 LTC) on: January 20, 2020, 09:59:44 PM
Hi all,

Up for auction in this 1 lot: Four of our LTC Tenths.

Clay casted LTC Tenths:

- Handmade .999 silver little Litecoin tiles (about 0.5 OZT).
- Private key printed on paper and placed beneath the holo.
- No public address (that's some trust ey...)
- Funded with 0.1 LTC (no, we won't post addresses of these).
- Takes about an hour and a half to cook and finish these.
- Will ship with four black pouches (one for each).
- Comes with scratches and pour marks.

Origin of these little cute things:

We had an IOU of 0.1 LTC to one our first customers, due to lower shipping than estimated.
We thought it would be fitting to create a LTC tenth to fulfill the IOU. Believe it was.
And thus our LTC Tenth was born. Some were given away as a gift (or IOU), but let's try to see what four of these are worth.

Images (click to enlarge):

- Starting bid: 0.01 BTC
- Bid Increments for this lot:  0.0005 BTC

- Escrow: Miner Jones, escrow costs are for buyer.
- Auction Ends:  Saturday, 25 Januari, 24.00 GMT +1 (Amsterdamned time) - 18:00 NY, USA Time.
- Excluded from Bidding:  I may exclude/disqualify bidders if you display idiotic behaviour (crazy, weird is ok, but don't be an idiot).
- Sniping:  No snipes, each bid in the final 10 minutes adds 10 minutes until no bid has been made for 10 minutes.
- Shipping cost:  Depends on location (shipping worldwide).
- Will ship insured with track and trace.

Thanks!

Thank you notserp!

Only 6 hours and some minutes left for this auction!
We would like to do one more addition for Lot 4, our last rare Realcrypto Ripple coin:

1 Rare Realcrypto Ripple collectible, unfunded. Gold plated.
Struck from brass rounds and are first plated in a layer of copper then silver with the final plating done in 24K gold.

These are rare: No longer minted or for sale at Realcrypto (or Stakebox) because Ripple does not allow these to be sold...

Description from Realcrypto:
Our inspiration came from Ripple's name. The Ripple logo floats above ripples of water that create a 3d effect on the coin. This is a holographic cold storage wallet, allowing you to secure your digital Ripple and hold it in physical form.

Artwork:
Artwork was a joint collaboration between W!tne33 and SkunX.

Included with this Coin:
- Airtight Plastic Capsule
- 2x Serialized Holograms
- Detailed Instructions for loading Ripple onto your new coin

Proof of rarity (unless they will be sold again): https://realcrypto.org/product/physical-ripple-coin/

Thank you, gentlemen!

We will raise you on Lot 4 with one Shark!

Lot 4 now consists of 4 half OZ .999 Silver sharks and 1 LTC Silver sterling Prototype bar, one of our first signs of life.
The LTC Prototype was made by a specialized 3D printing company using a 3D printed wax model of our design and casted using the lost wax method.
We had a rectangle hologram design in mind at first, but changed it along the way.

93  Economy / Collectibles / [AUCTION] Three Clay Cast Crypto .999 Silver 1 LTC Bars (+ Chip in) on: December 21, 2019, 04:51:39 PM
Aloha,

Up for auction: nr's. 1, 2 and 3 of our 1 LTC series, our humble homage to the Lealana 1 LTC coin.
These bars are from our third series and will consist of 10 bars. Each bar is funded with 1 LTC.

In the light of Christmas spirit, we wanted to auction something for charity.
We thought about where to chip in. We decided that the proceedings should go to snarlpill (as some of you have also helped out, or have been in the same spot and can relate).
This fourth lot contains a sterling 1 LTC prototype and three half OZT sharks. It's not much, but hope this helps.

Moving forward:

- It's still a hobby thing.
- We have invested in equipment and are learning to gilt.
- Delft Clay is fun, but we need to expand to open casting: custom graphite mold and a bigger furnace (bigger bars and a smoother finish).

The bars:

- These .999 silver bars are poured in Delft, using the Delft clay method.
- Nr's. 1, 2 and 3 up for auction. Stamped with serial number, logo and weight in OZT.
- They are funded with 1 LTC, bar design is our humble homage to the Lealana 1 LTC, not as smooth though...
- Qr code of public address on the back of the bar, private key beneath a self destructive holographic sticker on the front.
- Address and key etched with a laser on titanium plating with the use of Laserbond.
- Placed a piece of paper between the titanium and holographic sticker, somewhat smaller size as the titanium, to keep the etched key free from stickyness (if bar is ever redeemed).
- Belly of the bar and the LTC logo somewhat polished, they have dents, pits, scratches and pouring marks, no real smoothieness. The back and sides have visible sanding marks and some polishing. Gritty.
- Ungradable, nowhere near perfection, but handmade and handled with care.
- Ready to ship.

You are bidding for the following lots (bars):

Lot 1 - LTC Bar #1 - MFFuNd3CLwCifbUNPz8pSzoGWvALCx5M3G - 3.6 OZT - funded with 1 LTC   https://live.blockcypher.com/ltc/address/MFFuNd3CLwCifbUNPz8pSzoGWvALCx5M3G/

Lot 4 - 1 LTC Sterling silver prototype + 2 half OZ .999 Silver sharks

Hey all,

Thank you for the response and bids.
Bit of a weird night (for me), but wanted to add something to this auction.

Had these up for sale with to much of a premium on Ebay, did not feel okay.
Premium is okay, but these should linger a while in someone else's collection before it's worthy of some premium from a collectors perspective.

As a second prize in the (first...) raffle I will ad a Realcrypto collectible:

Oh... And we would like to let the winner of the auction 'feel' like a winner, so we will compensate the winner of the auction itself with 1 Rare Realcrypto Ripple which will ship with the BTC prototype.

Not sure what you are saying, are bids for a spot in a raffle???

Yes
99  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [AUCTION] Clay Cast Crypto .999 Silver BTC Prototype bar (6.4 OZT) on: December 16, 2019, 09:28:39 PM
Let's make this auction a little bit more interesting.

Each bid in this auction earns a spot for a raffle, which will be set right after this auction ends...
Empty spots of the raffle: the first bid will get the first empty spot, the second bid the second empty spot and so-forth.
We do not expect to see all spots taken due to minimum bid increments of 0.001 BTC, but if so, we will add another item (and raffle).

0 - Chronicsky
1 - Second bid
2 - Third bid
3 - ...
4 -
5 -

7
8
9

b
c
d

f

The raffle prize:

One 1 ETH prototype bar, 28 gram .999 silver. Try out pour, model not suited for .999 pouring, same size as LTC prototypes. Design too small and fragile.
We poured two of these and kept them for these occasions.

Will see if we can do some more coming days...  Grin
