Is +1k block maturity really necessary?
Yes, it is to prevent the instant mine and dump, and keep the miners in check.

Total amount of coins to be mined? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) I've already expalined all coins with a hard cap, including bitcoin, will have a hard fork in the block reward because without hard fork miners will leave when the block reward is 0. A hard cap on amount of coins is useless, it's just commercial hype. A voting system is the best way. At the bitcoin conference. "As block rewards reduce in size, transaction payments may not be sufficient to support the ever-increasing mining costs. This could result in the need to resort to a constant block reward for perpetuity in order to compensate miners appropriately." Bitcoin grew market cap of $5 billion without needing to hard fork yet, no coin has had to do this, so why are we doing this on TalkCoin on day 1? Currently in bitcoin, the block reward is 25 not 0. As I have pointed out several times a hard cap on amount of coins is useless, it's just hype and marketing. No miner will be able to cover the costs of verifying bitcoin transactions and thus earning new bitcoins, fees are not sufficient.

need an exchange,C、M、or P!!! ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) An exchange was made in the wallet but the idea has been abandoned because a centralized exchange in a decentralized cryptocurrency is not a good thing.

Maybe the price for the chat should be more cheap for more activity... Something like 0.1 TALK
Yup would be great +1 1 post = 1 coin it's too expensive ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) It will become less expensive with time. Currently 100,000 tac / day are mined.

The next version will have a private chat wallet and group chat features?
The next version will have chat rooms by countries and private messages between users.
|
|
|
Type the following command in the console: walletpassphrase <your password> 9999999

I see several problems with this coin. Take this as constructive criticism.
a) the lack of chat rooms, e.g. to separate different languages and topics
b) what's preventing me from setting up 1000 wallets, distributing the mined coins to all wallets and spamming the whole room with advertising from each individual wallet? How would you ban that?
c) lack of private messages
d) newest messages appear on top - why isn't the design more like any other instant messaging or chat app ?
All these features will be in the next wallet, but it still requires a lot of work until it is ready.

The power consumption mining with GPU this algo is lower than X11! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) +1 i would say easy 20% lower than darkcoin kernel, i have comapared the rotation speed of the wheel in my old electricity supply and i can guarantee this is lower, we need someone to test for have the exact diff. Will be nice also if we can have this information from the team they should know that .. i am also waiting for a blockexplorer, it will be welcome because i am mining with my 70 MH/s on http://tac.nonce-pool.com and the Net Hashrate is 700 MH/s <----- is that correct ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) it means that i have 10% of the NET hashrate ... i think its to much ... ? There are 5 hashes and not 11 different hashes. NIST selectioned the best algorithms for their performance and also their low power consumption, other algorithms were eliminated from the SHA3 competition.

This block reward vote is open only every 82 hours for a few hours or how is this exactly working? Sorry i missed the voting part and now it will available in 81 hours again. So how it is exactly working?
Voting takes place twice per week, durring about 2 hours.

|
how many its total supply?
There is no hard cap on the amount of coins, it's useless but there is a voting system.

can't wait for people to store racist, inflammatory and potentially illegal chat messages in the block chain on MY hard drive. What could possibly go wrong ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) There is illegal content in the bitcoin blockchain and probably in many other popular cryptos. Unfortunately, we can't avoid it because it's p2p, or just create a centralized crypto and run the network internally. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=11381.0But if there is abuse a system will be developped to hide illegal messages. Users will send coins to hide these messages.

2 things. first, why we need a coin to chat? So many communication tool second, any giveaway plan?
1. Talkcoin is the first true decentralized chat. There is BiTorrentChat but it's still in an alpha version and it will be never integrated into a cryptocurrency. 2. No giveaway right now because all bounties are not paid yet. I need to paid them first.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=573998.new#new ANN][TAC] TalkCoin | First Chat Coin | Voting system | NIST | No Premine/IPO people are all talking about this talkcoin ! it is a so great innovation . for it's new algo, also have no pool yet.who can make a pool for this particular coin?4000 talkcoins bonties for you.everybody ,plz post these words everwhere,(other coin's thread .) Well, talkcoin will be the first coin pool resistant ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) But more seriously, the problem will fixed soon, the problem is with the tx structure that is different from other coins. Some variables have to be set.

Talkcoin uses a new algo, so it's not easy to install a pool.
A bounty of 3000 TAC will be offered to the first person setting up a working pool.
Highlight this at OP, Dev I've had a look into this and just wanted to mention that rpcmining.cpp as well as rpctransaction.cpp is bad/broken. The whole voting part is missing there, a block cannot be submitted this way with stratum. (gives 500 Internal Server Error or/and probably Unhandled Error) I've got very little time atm and cannot fix it for you, after you have fixed it, come back to me, i've got everything ready for a pool. Compare your source with heavycoin to understand what i mean. There are probably lot more fixes needed, just a quick look over things. There is no link with heavycoin, the source code for voting is completely different and unique. The problem is somewhere else.

One thing I missed, where does the talkcoin I spend to send a message go? Devs wallet? Bounty fund? Destroyed?
An address is necessary to send data in the blockchain. It's symbolic, the amount can be changed later based on a lower price. For now, all bounties cannot even be paid. There is really no premine/instamine involved.

There is no virus of course. Just report as false positive.
