81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AGM] Argoneum | MN Exchange and hosting | Investment platform | PoW/MN on: September 18, 2019, 11:33:51 AM
News from discord.

Dear community
let me share some news which we are preparing for AGM blockchain

I hope that in 2 weeks we should have prepared first blockchain update.
We want to implement all Dash blockchain features which are for example: Native InstantSend, 51% attack protection or Governance
We want to remove devfee and implement Governance where everyone (not only devs) can ask Masternode holders for extra block reward (which occur every 2 months).
This implementation is very good way for some 3rd party projects or services which will use AGM ecosystem.
It is very short description, we will talk about Governance much more during upcoming weeks. Governance will be implemented in another update not in current which Oleg ( @os ) is currently preparing.

We need to split large update to more updates due to better compatibility. All updates should be soft forks without consensus change. So we will avoid extra fees for Exchanges.

We are preparing first and last change of block reward structure.
We decided to reduce rewards more than current plan.
You can see detailed plan in attached xls table
Max coins supply is near to 100 M
but you can see on graph that only 25% coins will be mined till 2021

This reduction will help a lot to AGM ecosystem in the future when most of AGM services will be released.

We are preparing algo change during another update as well.
New algo type is still in discussion.

Great update overall. Where can we see the roadmap to better understand what's in line? And just a suggestion, does Argeneum have a Medium account? It would be good to publish updates there as well.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My vision of the market in the coming months on: September 18, 2019, 11:10:26 AM
FOMO will definitely kick in and we can see more of it as we get near the halvening. Though BTC and ETH are in a good place now, especially with the development of ETH 2.0 and BAAKT, there are still other coins in the market that are showing good benefits and use cases.

I love projects that are giving equality to greedy companies and normal consumers, similar to this Telecom company that is utilizing blockchain, which gives transparency to people with what they're consuming with less fees. People are now starting to look at crypto/blockchain as the solution to government/establishments that are giving you hidden stuff and we're gonna continuously expect different Blockchain companies gearing towards ending that.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⭐️[ANN]🤑[AIRDROP]🤑Ethereum Classic Atlantis (ETCA)🤑⭐️AIRDROP FOR ETC HOLDERS⭐ on: September 10, 2019, 10:45:31 AM
I have not seen any information about the listing of the tokens and there is no information about Ethereum Classic Atlantis (ETCA) on coinmarketcap.com. Do you plan listing of ETCA and on what exchanges do you plan a listing?
I understand that they will be engaged in listing in the near future.

I agree that listing is very important, but also it is very important that different wallets would support Ethereum Classic Atlantis (ETCA) that it will be simple to use the coin.

As I see Ethereum Classic Atlantis (ETCA) now does not have official wallet. https://atlantis-wallet.com/#view-wallet-info Here is only the information about the wallet.

Do they have an Android/iOS version of the wallet? They should have one and not just the desktop version. Everyone is using their phones nowadays.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mass adoption growing or decreasing? on: September 10, 2019, 10:41:15 AM
Mass adoption is definitely growing, no doubt about that. I always check verified news to see what's going on in the Blockchain world and it's always good to see headlines of big companies accepting crypto or BTC as their mode of payment. Even small restaurants are doing it and some countries are already seeing crypto as a solution.

When will the airdrop tokens be distributed?
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Identify Good ICOs for Investment on: September 07, 2019, 10:45:42 AM
Good points in the article and I definitely agree that all those will need to be checked before you invest on an ICO. There are aso good websites who will help you verify if the company/project is legit or not. You need to check everything that you could these days so that you're sure that your money/investment is in good hands before participating.

88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WITH EMPOW, BLOCKCHAIN TOO EASY TO USE on: August 31, 2019, 01:28:18 PM
When will you launch the wallet on phone? I tried downloading the wallet on the PC and it worked quite smoothly. Also are you planning to do any bounty to promote your project?

Bounties is a good way to kick things off before launching your IEO. I've seen similar projects and we need all the exposure that we could possibly get in order for us to stand out.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The three biggest mistakes you should avoid on: August 31, 2019, 01:25:41 PM
The explanation was very simple and at the same time, it's enough for people to understand what those points are. And just to add, it's also important for you to be in the know of what's happening in the crypto scene. Reading blockchain news to tell you the current updates that can affect the coin prices such as the Craig Wright case, or adoption by certain countries/companies will help you when to expect a rise or a drop.

91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are airdrops safe? on: August 29, 2019, 06:50:48 AM
Never heard of any airdrop campaigns that requires you to have this "signings" that you're saying. And I admit that it's difficult to know which airdrop is legit or not, with so much scams happening these days, anything can definitely go wrong if no necessary research has been done. That's why it's good to follow trusted websites to see which airdrop/bounty campaigns are legit or not. With so many happening now, you need to have websites to help out.

93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: IEOs is a game for top exchanges. on: August 28, 2019, 10:30:33 AM
It's somehow true and it's correct for projects who did their IEO on smaller exchanges very rarely succeed with their fundraising activities. The top ones are still Binance, they pretty much have the biggest volume out of everyone and you can find projects there that has an actual product and real partnerships, something that can bring you ROI in the long run. But I would say that projects who are making efforts will always make it's way, though it's gonna be a difficult road for them especially if they don't have the budget to enter big exchanges.

95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Prices of Bitcoin and Altcoin are down now ...? on: August 24, 2019, 01:28:25 PM
Never heard of the restart that OP was saying about Binance, do you mean the recent FUD that they're receiving? I think that has no effect at all and it's just the nature of the market. Majority of the altcoins are still riding the BTC wave, meaning that if BTC rises, they do too, vice versa. That's why it's good to have coins that are solely focused on platform development and have established partnerships to help them in the long run. We may see an increase next year for the halvening, basing it historical data, that makes a huge jump on prices.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2019 Shopping List on: August 23, 2019, 07:56:22 AM
I would personally go for BTC at all times. It has the most potential to get you big ROI and lesser risk at the same time. Though there are promising coins that are looking good long-term because of their strategic investors locking up their coins longer. We need more teams that are not just after the money, but would rather be in it on the long run.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] VFarm: REVOLUTIONIZING URBAN AGRICULTURE 🌱 on: August 21, 2019, 03:57:30 PM
Do you have a proof of concept for this or is this project just all idea atm??

VFarm has commenced the build on the first farm in the golden triangle of Kuala Lumpur in May 2019, and is expected to yield the first batch of crops by the end of August 2019. The first farm is designed to produce 20 tonnes of crops monthly which will be marketed through contract farming.

Contract farming? How does that work
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Contentos: Decentralizing Content with 60M+ Users. | 🔥🔥[Binance Listing]🔥🔥 on: August 21, 2019, 03:25:52 PM
Heard a news that COS' strategic investors will extend their lock up period until June 2020. That's 317m worth of COS. Is this true?
Yes, right, Content Public Chain Contentos (COS)’s strategic investors Matrix Partners China, IDG Capital, and Welight Capital have jointly announced retaining a total of 317 million COS locked up until June 2020 to help the subsequent development of the COS content ecosystem. read more https://medium.com/contentos-io/strategic-private-placement-to-support-cos-long-term-development-e4c712d8319c

Nice, this is good for the long-term development of COS. This goes to show that the investors don't see the token as a dump and sell coin. They do really care about COS' impact in the future.

Saw you guys on Yahoo news, great exposure coming from a big publication. More moves like that will drive more users to check us out and have more people to possibly use the platform, especially content creators.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin today on: August 17, 2019, 11:29:35 AM
Altcoins today are struggling , yes no doubt about that but if much attentions are giving to some altcoins with lots of potentials, i think it will make altcoins standout in the market. although some altcoins lacks vision and there are several coins i believe will defintely change the market positively.

It really depends on the team as well. If the team managing the project are not making any efforts at all, then those coins will definitely not go anywhere at all. Quality coins that are making efforts to be listed on Binance and make real partnerships happen are the ones that usually show good traction. A coin with a healthy community and well ran team will surely go places.
