81  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a national currency? on: July 23, 2015, 06:59:52 PM
Bitcoin being used as a national currency would be a very interesting experiment. I think it would be interesting to see how it would affect everyday life living in a nation that exclusively uses Bitcoin. In my opinion, it would be useful and very cool if it were possible to go to an everyday grocery store and pay for your groceries with Bitcoin, instead of cash.

The people who are in oppose of bitcoins would surely die without food if this is the situation in the coming years where you can buy your stuff by paying bitcoins. And if it becomes mandatory even they have to buy anything using bitcoins.Even if they don't like it.

No they won't lol. When a country in EU had it's own currency and changed to €, people just came into their banks and exchanges and changed their currency for €, everything that wasn't changed for a new currency was worth nothing. The same thing can be done with BTC.
82  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: July 23, 2015, 06:54:13 PM
I just came to Primedice and I see there's 0.05 BTC waiting right for me! I wonder how much it was worth when I sent it here and forgot about it Grin
83  Other / Meta / Re: What if there's a scam website in my signature? on: July 23, 2015, 06:21:34 PM
For example: Tomorrow if anyone offers me money to promote drugs and alcohol and offers me a huge amount which can buy me just anything. It doesn't mean I will promote it.

This is not the same thing, it's not even similar to it... But I got what you meant with it.
84  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: July 23, 2015, 06:16:29 PM
here is a great quote: “If you are born poor its not your mistake, But if you die poor its your mistake.”
Maybe this will inspire you.

How many of the individuals, who were below the poverty level 20 or 30 years ago, went on to become billionaires? Probably Zero. Without an initial capital, it is really hard to get rich. To get rich, you need skills. And acquiring most of these skills and qualifications need a solid monetary investment (Education for example).

Many people forget that when Facebook's founder started swimming in wealth, he was a young college student. Almost everyone knows the story of Facebook, and Zuckerberg's now one of the wealthiest people in the world, at around $20 billion, regardless of age.
Also The founder of WhateverLife.com

You don't need any skills, maybe some basic. But the thing is that you must have an idea, fucking good and revolutionary idea!
85  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 23, 2015, 06:01:39 PM
What do you think about Bitcoin price in let's say 3 years from now? In 2018?
Do you that Bitcoin has a potential to go up or to go down?

Yes.

Up or down? You didn't answer my questions dude.. Cheesy
86  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Cost of Bitcointalk Accounts. on: July 23, 2015, 05:58:52 PM
sometimes you can find good offers on ebay.
cheers

ebay? they sell bitcointalk accounts in there?

edit:
I just looked around and looks like there's only 1 person selling it and he don't have any more accounts

That's why he said "sometimes".. I think that eBay took down most of the Bitcoin offers, so that's why there is so low amount of Bitcoin things.

88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin anonymity on: July 23, 2015, 05:40:36 PM
Bitcoin is actually not anonymous, but it's pseudo-anonymous. If you send just random transactions then you are anonymous, but if you want to buy something from bitfinex then you are not.

Yes i think maybe everything is tracked, as long as nobody will keep a look at your transaction.
But some stolen bitcoin still has not been seen anywhere.

Maybe the thieves used some kind of Bitcoin Mixer / Tumbler for example bitmixer.io. It's pretty much amazing service because you can split the amount to unlimited addresses with 12%, 8%, 30%, 5%, 5%, 40% of the original amount or any other %...
Fee is just 0.0005 per address.

Well the thief were to smart when they stole the money.
I remember the bter exchange when was hacked and around 7100 BTC were stolen
They used soemthing like this to disappear the money.
Btw the fee is nothing per address on bitmixer lol

Yes, there's 0.0005 BTC fee for every forward address. Please, don't spam here if you don't know how it is.
89  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many Bitcoins are lost forever? on: July 23, 2015, 05:11:56 PM
This is much to less if you follow all the proofed looses.
I just read this today http://www.newsbtc.com/2015/06/01/blockchain-sent-8k-worth-bitcoin-to-wrong-address/
Another 8k of Bitcoins are (probably) lost forever, if no one has the private key of the wrong address.

If you are looking for a number, my guess is about 5000 lost bitcoins if we gather all together. And even more...

I think it is much more then 5000.

they are at least 7k, we have a confirmation from the owner of his old wallet https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0tMXLDVpPs8

however i changed my mind i don't really think that 3M, like many are emphasize strongly, are lost forever, while it's cool and all to reveal that you lost your money, perhaps in hope to become famous or something or to be more recognized

telling to everyone that you have retrieved your coins back in some way(you remembered your passphrase, you found an old back up ecc...) it's more unlikely...

WOW, the guy who sent $8k worth of BTC to the wrong address is the biggest idiot ever.
I always check the address twice when paying for something..

I double check it always so i make the other party confused to check again the address that i want to re-check.
I think these type of lost bitcoin should be solved but there is no way Sad
Every bitcoin that is sent to wrong address is lost Sad

It's lost for the previous owner of them, but not for the whole Blockchain..
Someone can use BTC if it's sent to him by a mistake, but if it's sent to the address that's compromised than it's lost..

Im thinking of joining coinomat signature campaign when I hit full member rank. How's the payment there Sir? Is it better than bit-x?

Bit-x pays 0.0008 BTC per post for full member and coinomat pays 0.0004. also coinomat is currently closed for new participants.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0
see that tread for more info.

Also, BIT-X is the best for every rank from Full Member because you can do unlimited posts.. that means you can earn 0.01 BTC, 0.1 BTC or even more with your Full Member account..

Ok, I finally did it. I have 0.4 BTC from BIT-X signature campaign and tomorrow is my payday, I'm actually really happy that I did it!

Wow mate, lucky you, how did you made so many posts/ good job mate

Thanks.. I have just a lot of free time so I try to post a lot of constructive posts. So I'm basically spamming, but with the good posts to avoid ban Smiley Check my posts history, I think it's not bad at all...

WOW that was a really a huge earnings. Hope I can reached that rank too but it will take years from now and I hope there still signature campaign when I reached that rank lol.

What I know it's just about a year to reach Hero Member, not years Smiley I'm sure that the BIT-X campaign won't be here forever, but there's will be any other good campaign in 2016.. you can also invest some fiat in BTC and buy an account that's already enrolled in BIT-X campaign. Price is around 0.45 BTC, and you an easily make ROI in a week...
96  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a national currency? on: July 23, 2015, 04:06:37 PM
The idea of countries basing their money on other than just faith is pretty much gone and to actually only use bitcoin would be expensive. The government would have to provide phones or mobile wallets with internet all paid by the government if they wish to make sure everyone can use it, this may break even after time due to no cost to mint coins or print cash but no I don't see it happening.

Do you know about casascius coins? Government could make something like this, and every time a human with no smartphone / wallet would like to spend it, he can scan QR code from the coin in the shop ( They would have to add it here.. ).
97  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: July 23, 2015, 04:03:36 PM
I'm currently hovering around 1 digit, maybe one day soon I'll buy my way up into 2 digits.

Once you make your first BTC you are set, and the more you make the easier should be to keep stacking up more, the problem is, if the price goes up it will be harder, thats why I want the price to stay low for at least 2 more years.

Two or more years? You must be really slow when it comes to earning BTC... Two or more months should be enough for me to make 2 digits ( I already have 2 digits, but I don't want to disclose any more info..  ) from 1 digit amount.
