I'm of the opinion that NFTs are majorly not good for long-term hold. NFTs are just like meme coins, which are based on hypes and seasonal. It seems like we're in the era of NFTs, but this could only be for a while and this phase would pass. It's wise to convert your NFTs to coins like bitcoin and ethereum. Those are the projects I believe are best for long term hold.

We've had several projects that were thought of as the best and holders had big dreams owing to the potential of the project which seemed glorious, but now they're no more. Looking at the first 100 cryptocurrency in the coin market cap, it would be difficult to say all the projects have always been on the least. Several would be off the list. I recall holding lisk as a project I looked forward to making a fortune from the project but it didn't work out as envisaged.

The major reason why people hold NFTs is because of potential increase in value. I understand some persons also have esoteric attachments to art works and are willing to buy them to fulfill their fantasy and attachments, but I really don't think people are concerned about the use case of NFTs as several of them are not developed for that reason.

Maybe you consider diversifying your portfolio to include many more altcoin and Bitcoin. You could also invest in NFTs and metaverse projects as they appear to be more lucrative now. There's a whole lot that could be done to increase your ROI and get the best value for your fund.

There are some predictions that the market this year would be bearish, looking at the market movement since the beginning of the year, one could claim that the prediction is happening, but I still disagree. I believe that a whole lot has changed and it would be unwise to think that the market forces would be similar with few years back. The only thing constant in the cryptocurrency space is change.

There is no doubt that it takes a whole lot of effort to develop a successful business or project, but what we see most often in the industry are projects developers without direction and looking at some projects from a distance it would be clear that the project is on a course towards failure.
