damn i have seen it comming a unexperieneced market participant drives the price to the sky. You have to learn the rules of supply and demand.
If there is small liquidity (like on Nova) and you buy relative large amounts, the price will go up.
This is bad for you as a buyer since you want to buy cheap, so patience is the key.
If you dont make a profit and bag hold then continue xD.

Nova is the only Exchange where you can sell. Dont be fooled by the high price of BTC38. They have halted deposits and are
too incompeted to fix their wallet (they say they wait for the developer, and the deveolper on the other hand already contacted them
many times. So they will not fix it in the future, they just wait.) This means no supply on BTC38 only Buyers which can withdraw,
this drives the price up which produces a distorted price.

(i needed 6 days to get this info because their first answer was just smalltalk!)

their answer:

(remeber we cant use complicated english text otherwise the answer will be smalltalk)

um die 1-Jahres-Frist zu nutzen muss du Euro/Dollar in die Coin deiner Wahl durch ankaufen investieren, diese dann 1 Jahr halten und dann später verkaufen. Dieser Gewinn ist Steuerfrei.

Wenn du jetzt Gewinn erzielt hast in dem du Coins gegen andere Coins Getauscht hast, ist das Steuerpflichtig weil du ja Gewinn erzielt hast
durch den Verkauf (der Tausch ist ein Verkauf). Lies dir meinen Beitrag von davor durch da habe ich ein Beispiel gegeben.

Am besten ist du legst dir ein Trading Tagebuch als Excel-Tabelle an wo du reinschreibst was du wieso gemacht hast,
weil wenn du so wie ich ~2500 trades 1 Jahr später dem Finanzamt erklären musst dann wird es ätzend .
 (du must die Daten aufbereiten das Sie einfach zu verstehen Sind)
Dazu solltest du die Trading Histories der Börsen (+ Deposit und Withdraw history) speichern um im Falle einer Einzelprüfung alles
nachweisen zu können. ich nutze dafür das Firefox addon Scrapbook, damit geht das abspeichern,verwalten,exporieren etc sehr einfach

on which OS do you work? if Windows7 or higher , you need go to the menu of the windows explorer (first rightclick to show the menu xD)
-> then to extras and Folder options
-> Tab View (the 2nd of the 3 tabs)
-> read all the stuff to find "hideprotected system files" and uncheck it so they become visible. and click the button "for all folders"
-> Now go to the useres folders i wrote about earlier it should be visible now

weil es hier um Thema Börsen crash geht, will ich als Jemand der MtGox und Cryptsy live miterlebt haben was ich seitdem
als Lösung anwende.

Der Trick ist eigene Coins lokal in Wallets zu haben (mit bkup auf extra medium)
und nur soviel auf eine Börse zum traden zu überweisen wie man relativ schmerzfrei bei einem crash verkraften kann.
Bei mir sind das 7%. Mann kann auch 10-15% nehmen. Immer wenn dieser Prozentwert überstiegen wird bsp durch Gewinn,
überscshüssige coins in die eigene Wallet abziehen.

Aber eines ist sicher, keine Börse ist sicher! MtGox war die Nr1. für BTC und Cryptsy die Nr1. für Altcoins - beide Pleite.

Also auch wenn eine Börse tolle features hat, der support 'im Moment' schnell reagiert, denkt immer daran morgen kann alles
anders sein! Es ist einfach eine frage der Zeit weil die Börsen haben einfach zuuuu viele Feinde
(Hacker,Missmanagement,Regierungen,die eigenen Mitarbeiter , uvm.)

Ich habe da Erfahrung weil ich 2013 meine Altcoin-Gewinne versteuert habe und persönlich mit dem Finanzamt vorher meine Fragen besprochen hab.

Das Prinzip ist zum Glück ganz einfach, das Finanzamt interessieren die Gewinne.
Als Gewinne zählen auch Tauschgeschäfte mit Kursunterschieden (Bsp BTC -> LTC)
Der Gewinn wird so ermittelt:
Wieviel hat man für die Bitcoins bezahlt in € (einfach den $ Wechselkurses vom Kauftag verwenden)
Weiviel Wert in € haben die Litecoins am Verkaufstag der BTC gehabt (einfach den $ Wechselkurses vom Verkauftag verwenden)

Die Differenz von Einkaufspreis minus Verkaufspreis ist der Gewinn (anzugeben in Euro) auch wenn man immer noch LTC hält.

Das gilt nur wenn Ankauf und Verkauf weniger als 1 Jahr auseinander liegen. bei über 1 Jahr ist der Gewinn Steuerfrei.
Trotzdem sollte man Nachweise aufbewahren um das beweisen zu können.

i just downloaded the i2p package and started "StartANCI2PdPortable.exe" this always runs on i2p on my pc.

for your coin "recovery" you need your old wallet.dat and place it into the user roaming folder it looks like this:
C:\Users\"your windows username"\AppData\Roaming\Anoncoin

make sure to have always 2-3 copies of your wallets if coins are in them (i sort them in folders like "ANC 500 coins\wallet.dat" on a
flashmemory.

i am already working on it since 2 days but volume is low, and to keep it low the experienced trader knows: patience is the key.
The gap between Buyers and Sellers should not become to large.

Also cool is bots providing round a clock action.

But beside that NovaExchange has screwed people (the old got hacked story) so its kind of medium-low trustworthy.
It works at the Moment but if shit hits the fan dont have more coins there you cant afford to loose without crying .

I practive fractional transfers to keep the exposure risk small (max 5-7% of my coins at the Exchange if the amount becomes larger i withdraw until i get to the 7% max point again)

BTC38 deposit is halted at the moment. So you cant sell at BTC38.

on the clearnet i used win64 version  too but i get also about 2-4 connections  (use the new version because of the hardfork),
i had problems too (blockchain stuck) the soloutionfor me was to delete the blockchain and download again.
(windows user apps folder , but backup your wallet first and dont delete it by accident)

which release is the problem 1.53 or 1.54 ?

i have 1.53 and all works fine. But Yobit stopped GLC trading yesterday (maintainence status) because they want to "update" their wallet. But there s no new code (1.54 is old too) .
Can someone explain the problem with some details please.

Es mag sein das es für dich von Vorteil ist, aber das Finanzamt ist nicht an deinem Vorteil interessiert sondern an Einnahmen .
Also es gilt immer das Datum an dem Du Gewinn realisiert hast. Auch wenn man Bitcoin in Litecoin tauscht. Die Haltefrist starten natürlich auch von vorne soblad man einen Verkauf tätigt. Fall sich der Aufwand nicht lohnt steige auf Forex um . mfg

Ich hatte 2014 ähnliche sorgen, aber das Versteuern der Altcoin Gewinne ist relativ einfach.

0.Der Gewinn fällt unter die Rubrik Einkommensteur Einkommen aus sonstigen Geschäften.

1. Wenn man z.B. Litecoin in NXT tauscht und dabei Gewinn* macht zählt das als Gewinn=Einkommen.
  Das Prinzip hier nennt sich "Gewinn realisiert" / Verlust Realisiert. Auch wenn manche denken es wäre
als würde man braune gegen weiße Eier tauschen, es ist so wie ich es geschrieben habe, ich habe das mit dem Finanzamt im Detail
besprochen bevor ich die Steuererklärung abgegeben hatte um Fehler zu vermeiden.
Wichtig ist auch Verluste mit Einrechnen und selbstverständlich Ausgaben wie Tradinggebühren.

2.Wenn man die Coins immer noch in NXT hält und am Jahresende den Gewinn versteuern muss, dann soll man einfach den Geldwert der coins
zum Wechselkurs am Verkaufstag ermitteln (so als würde man die NXT in Euro Tauschen wollen, NXT->BTC-USD->EUR = Wert )

3. Man muss nicht alle 100 Seiten Nachweise mitliefern (hatte ich auch gemacht), sondern nur vorrätig halten falls ein Nachweiß angefordert wird. Es wird eine Übersichtstabelle Verlangt mit Gewinn-Verlust.

Verlust realisiert . Das kann ich alles mit Screenshots und Walltetadressen (sind ja öffentlich)nachweisen.
Wie auch immer ich denke nicht das man 0 € bei Forderungsausfall im Fall von Cryptsy rauskommt.

Es steht zumindest zum heutigen Tag fest das der CEO von Cryptsy "Smallvern" - kriminell gehandelt hat, da er vor dem Gerichtsverfahren nach China geflohen ist und das Insolvenzverfahren bereits läuft. Bis Jahresende sind noch 7 Monate wo sicher noch mehr Details ans Licht kommen.
Aber sicher ist auf jeden Fall das es keine einwandfreie Forderung mehr ist.
