81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [HVC] Heavycoin - Ultra-secure, Decentralized Block Reward Voting, Fast on: September 02, 2014, 12:18:44 AM

So we'll be at around 97 million coins.

Given most of those 97 million have been sold off and bought means HEAVY is well consolidated which should be a huge run when the next demand influx starts up which should be very soon.

Yes over next 4.7 to 38 years we'll get up to 97 million. In 10 days there will be <87 million coins with daily inflation of max 5760 coins (if vote is 8 ). Now we have 362 coins * 30 blocks/hour * 24 h = 260'640 coins/day

I have to edit my coin calculation.

7780 blocks until the end of limit phase thats in about 10 days

1. for next ~2000 blocks we have 2000*362 (current block reward) = 724'000 coins
2. than we have block change 3600 blocks * 420 (current averaged votes - rough est.) = 1'512'000
3. for last 2100 blocks we have 8 coins reward according to previous link so thats 16'800 coins

total 2'252'800 coins until the end of limit phase

edit: I'm not completely sure about 2. and 3. but at the end of limit phase there will be under 87 million coins + 10 million in sustain phase, thats 30 million less coins than max number.

Don't know why people have problems with sync. I am not an expert, but I don't have conf file in roaming folder and it sync without problems maybe it's somehow integrated  Huh

Block reward will change in 300 blocks at block 126'000 from 434 coins to ~355 coins (averaged votes now) that's in about 10 hours.
9'600 blocks = 13 days (roughly about 3.5 million coins probably less) until the end of limit phase.

criptoid blockchain explorers looks nice at https://chainz.cryptoid.info/

Thanks for the info.

That explains why the price is imploding right now.  Well, only 3 more weeks of this, buy all you can I suppose.

Actually, if you look from miners perspective, price/profitability  did not change much. It was in upper section of table at http://www.whattomine.com/  all the time. For example now you mine ~0.001 btc/day with 280x it's the same if you mine 10coins/1000sat or 1000coins/10sat.

Advise the good pool?

http://hvc.1gh.com/

finding almost all blocks. you can find their hvc miner on site

Delisted from mintpal, all trades are on cryptsy now. I sold mine at 250, bought back at 30-40 during crash Cheesy It still have significant mining support, I can mine and dump if I want to and still make nice profit. So I don't think it's dead yet, I see a nice potential for growth. We'll see in couple weeks

Now can you mine and dump for a profit at such a low price (40 Satoshi)?

So then, people who were mining at 300+ were making a killing or what happened?

Price is 53 sat now if you dump instantly. It was going up to 70 sat yesterday and up to 100 sat day before mintpal delisted it. People who mined at 300+ were mining at high dif 1500+ if I recall, so you can get a lot more coins now at dif 50.
So, compared to other coins, hvc was more profitable to mine than many others all the time, you can check stats here http://www.whattomine.com/
I'm a small time miner, don't have much coins, but if you think if you support and believe in any coin like this one you would wish it gets in phase like this so you can mine/buy sh*tloads of coins at small dif/prices Cheesy

I'm sure it will have higher price in ~15 days when block reward go from 400 to 8 coins. 50 sat is very very cheap. I think we will have 4 digit price, maybe 5 in peak  Shocked if not, well at 50 sat is 0.001 btc loss lol

i think it's dead, it was even delisted, no more hope, i sold mine at 300s

We're around 80 million coins now.

Does anybody know about how many more coins will be mined and how much longer before minting is over?  Just a rough estimate since I know it's all done by voting with Heavy.

Thanks!

13'500 blocks until end of limit phase, so 13500 blocks * 450 (est coins per block) = 6'075'000 coins (rough estimated remaining coins in limit phase)
+ 10'000'000 coins in sustain phase in next 4,7- 38 years.

Limit phase ends in 13500 blocks * 2 min/block = 18 days

Why is there a Razor coin (RZR) block explorer on heavychain.info link from OP?

Mintpal :We're removing the HVC, SPA, ZEIT and ZS markets on Sunday 10th August. [1/2]

bought some cheap coins, and open an account at cryptsy  Cool

dev could post something like future development plans or wallet bug fixes I mentioned before it would boost price and mining hashrate, it will be good in sustain phase to maintain network security.

Interesting activity in the current number 2 wallet: http://chainz.cryptoid.info/drk/address.dws?395957.htm

You can follow it around and see that very recently, 5,000 DRK has been peeled off numerous times. It looks like they are trying to get it ready to be DS+ denominated. It's weird, though, because the sets of 5,000 are being directed into the same address, which would make it not DS+-able (if you will). You can also follow it and see that 96,000 were sent off to Cryptsy since 6-12 (60k 6-12; 30k 7-30; 6k 8-8).

Kinda strange, unless it is somehow explained by being a cold wallet for an exchange.

It looks like they are doing this Cheesy

550 GH/s on X11 MultiWalletCoin

X11 fpga working now?
Testing?

Don't think that FPGA have too much power as for now.
We have only 8 boards @28MH/s.  Cool

96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ASIC resistent coins? on: August 01, 2014, 10:13:33 PM
I am mining heavycoin which uses hefty1 algorithm although is not fpga proof, it looks like it create stalls so fpgas can't be more efficient than gpus. Asics (for hefty1, x11, x13 etc) will probably be faster but there is a ROI question for end user. We will see how it will go with existing scrypt asics.

Nice to see this coin still going.  Have we got any cool voting results yet?

Well, max coin down from 128m to 114m now, expect to be under 100mil.

Main site http://heavyco.in/ is stuck at block 105111 causing supply and max supply to be incorect link: http://heavycoin.github.io/voting-graph.html

Just a reminder, block reward is 437 HVC and it will change in ~100 blocks at block 100800 that will be in ~3.5 hours.

You can see the change here: http://heavycoin.github.io/voting-graph.html

and then open wallet and you will clearly see the bug I am talking about.

Whitecoin Distribution & Pie-Chart

Hello!

I just wanted to tout some of the work that Oizopower has been doing for us.  The whitecoin distribution site keeps getting little tweaks, so if you haven't visited it in awhile please check it out!  This is a great place to get some quick facts on the stats for whitecoin.  If you've got any ideas for improvements, fire them off to myself or Oizopower

http://www.richlist.eu/whitecoin/stats > Pie Chart
http://www.richlist.eu/whitecoin > Top 1000 Addresses

Good work Oizopower!  Wink
looks very nice, expecially this :

..looking this quickly, the first 100 addresses have 63.2% of total coins...

excellent distribution!
