Artbyte went half way last night. It has a solid base to build from for sure.

This article discusses the very large price gains achieved by Litecoin, Syscoin And Digibyte when they implemented SegWit. "Little-known altcoin DigiByte is following Litecoin and Syscoin in making investors rich with impending SegWit activation." Read full article: http://bitcoinist.com/altcoins-segwit-price-boost/Artbyte is in the early stage of implementing SegWit, currently running SegWit on its testnet. Over the weekend artbyte has already seen a big price move and record volume. Will it follow the pattern?

"Good altcoins" like ArtByte? How come not many people have heard about it. It is not even in the top 100 on coinmarketcap.com Seems like a promotional thread to me.
ArtByte is not as well known because it is a niche coin that was created to support artists of all kinds. But it is a very good coin, with active development, launched in May 2014. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=503131.0

Coinbase has everyone's private keys. The BCC is there and should be sent to the owners of the wallets.

It is an altcoin for now. Who knows though, it may catch bitcoin. Would that make it the original??

I'm thinking to top up on some Litecoin, Waves, and some ripple. Not sure if I should buy today or wait until after August 1. What you crypto strategists think!!? Would you wait or buy today!!?
I think you can start accumulating today. Bitcoin's success on August 1 is not guaranteed, but it is looking good.

Steem has a formula awarding posts based on comments, reputation, etc. Steem PlatformDoge users still receive tips for posts and comments on Reddit. Dogecoin SubredditArtByte rewards users as they achieve forum ranks, based on posts & comments. ArtByte ForumAny other coins do this?

I think it will become a very big thing. With Music platforms it is easy to setup, as both coins have.
And I have seen an ArtByte post where they are developing a 3D Virtual Reality Art Gallery, where artists can display their work for sale, or tips. The post is on their Announce thread.
Both coins have a big future I think.

I think it is a good longterm investment. I have been slowly accumulating during the price drop.

If Bitcoin forks it will be a killer for everyday user acceptance. Non cryptogeeks barely understand Bitcoin, talk to them about two different Bitcoins and they will turn away for sure.

I think most of the new ICOs are very risky. You must do your research!!

Both coins are great for musicians, a very positive use of blockchain technology.Musicoin went live in 2017. ArtByte went live in 2014 (added the ArtByte Music Store in 2015) Both have active communities and development. Musicoin runs on Ethereum and uses smart contracts technology to be able to split payments, say for a band when a song is purchased, it pays the singer, guitarist, drummer, etc. ArtByte runs on it's own blockchain. ArtByte Music Store pays musicians 100% of sales proceeds. My question is over valuation. Musicoin is for musicians & fans. ArtByte is for all types of artists (musicians, painters, dancers, actors, writers, photographers, film makers, sculptors, etc.) & fans. Musicoin has a marketcap today of $4,620,362 ArtByte has a marketcap today of $3,309,639 I think both are significantly underpriced and would make a good longterm investment. Both trade on Bittrex. But I think ArtByte has a much bigger market, since it supports all types of Artists. Musicoin: https://musicoin.org/ArtByte: http://artbyte.meOpinions/Comments?

Ethereum is good at many things, but not for basic transactions. It is not a threat to BTC, they are very different applications.
