Idea: make the pool on the same principle as exchange to bring users. so that we can bring as much miners as possible. First two months pool fee goes to raffle, but daily. So there are as much as possible and as frequent as possible winners and constant bonuses. Even we can call the pool rafflepool. It is like wafflepool, but rafflepool  Its nice idea and we should consider it. Only problem is that pool cost goes from my and Youngwebs personal funds. So if we even beat cost at some day, then we can consider raffle. EDIT: And yes, raffle could be just loan invest from our personal funds to get bigger hashrates. When we get multipool to live for everyone, then we start to consider how to promote it. EDIT: Certainly in some way we do the promo when we have live version. EDIT: To get it open for everyone looks promising, probably most likely next week. |

Dear devs,
I just sent small portion of multipool funds to Coinpod and i started trade there. Done this with my personal Coinpod account because we cant get BTC deposit address to our multipool account. It took me over 15 minutes that i got all sell orders before 1800 satoshi. This exchange have huge problems in usability. Please fix them that we can get better user experience. Ask yourself, why someone should use Coinpod?
Coinpod have now 0.007865 BTC 0.000019 413.947368 PAWN buy order from multipool.
Rest goes to Poloniex.

All coins that have multi-pool doesn't have additional coins through PoW. If Pawncoin price rises up due to Pawncoin Multi-pool what stops other multi-pool from mining pawncoin directly due to the profitability. I think the difficulty will be high  But the best option is to reduce the Block rewards to prevent other multi-pool from mining pawncoin and then sell except if they payout in pawncoin. Lets first do workable multi-pool for Pawncoin, then discuss about your points? You have very good points, but lets do things step by step. First workable multi-pool and lets see how market reacts. |

Then we are easily in with aroud 70K PAWNS which currently equals less than 1.5 BTC. Then we can easily donate.

But I do not have the time to commit to such a responsiblity... But my strong suggestion is the pawn team to hire real marketing guys, full time, paid in usd, not random people from the forum. This is not serious enough. Look as gpucoin, what happened there with the "marketing" team, which I was representing - it died. Community managers are different than marketing team. You are right that marketing guys need to be guys who know what to do, but its not possible to get full time guys at this point. Need to start from some smaller. Of course, what is possible is possible and what is not is not. It depends on devs money. But I am just saying what is vital to the coin to succeed as we saw so much coind with great ideas which died due to bad marketing. On the oterside look at craps like MAZA and ISR, which made few appearences on media and skyrocketed in no time.. We should contact at least Bitcoin Girl. And as much as possible crypto sites with news, etc... Also as I said, we need a new video, this is not good. Video must show in brief and nice way the brainstorming idea behind the coin - the linked market idea, which will gurantee price rise, this must be the main point, explained nice in video. The current one is nice, but is not telling anything which actually must influence on watchers. As for position thank you for you support guys, but I am really extremely busy due to own full time worktime commitements and I do not want to take responsibility I can not hold. Furthermore I do not believe I am good enough for this as you might have seen that I totally failed as a marketing representatitve of GPUcoin. I will keep posting here and giving advises tough as I am a big stakeholder and I care a lot about the success of this coin. I like a lot the ideas behind it. It is genious to make pawnshop when accepting pawncoin for it. Why? Because when people get X pawns, they will sell them for BTC and USD, but later they must return X + interest % PAWNs, so they will buy more than they sold, so the price will always go up! Not speaking even about the IPO about ePawncoin where price of PAWN will go up due to simple market laws. This coin has a lot of potential. However, we need a strong marketing for it to succeed. My vote for marketing/promotional guy goes to provencoinday, very active guy, and most important - chinese!  We could start from organized campaign with articles and advertisements, but in fact only who can tell things to articles is devs. They have not told things so how they should and its still big problem at this coin. |

Have you read that here have been lot of good conversations about future in past days? And yes, no one buying now because they are waiting about news for better confidence. Why buy because they can get them cheaper with buy orders? We have worked with multi-pool every day past days and im sure devs are publishing soon something about 3rd generation coin and Coinpod promotions. Please, stop that propaganda and leave if you think this coin will die, it will die if it die, but there are guys who is working every day for this coin. |

Devs, did you consider my plan for the exchange?
You need to understand how hard is to bring ast liquidity.
At least make it this way:
first month the trading fee will be going into a raffle where drawing will determine which three of the users will win the whole trading fees for the month. BUT only if at the end of the month volume is set at some minimum target. Let's say: X BTC total for the exchange.
Second month do same but with 2X BTC target minimum.
And this way users will be motivated to trade as much. Because they know they will win only if they set the minimum, and second, if they pass it, they know they will win more if they trade more.
Third month you start earning the fees.
Do this and after it start promotion. Otherwise you have no chance. Look at bittrex, so nice design, few moths old, zero liquidity. It is very hard to achieve nice liquidity when there is so much competition.
Please, listen to me. I am running my own business for years and I know pretty well that marketing is the hardest part of anything. Especialy of you fo not have money. As it seems you do not have a lot, this is at least some chance to achieve your goals. When doing business or trading you must put yourself in the position of the opponent just like in poker. Ask yourself: why whould I go to this brand new exchange if I can not win anything but small fees and see no liquidity there? There must me something to force people to do this, something new, interesting, raising demand in them.
I like this idea. You devs should listen this guy. All of his suggestions are always sounded good and he seems to know what he is talking. He is able to justify things. |

Popularity is not enough Organized marketing team/guy would be awesome. One reddit advertisement not are enough. We need attractive promotions, articles and advertisements at same time! We have already one community project, its multi-pool. How about start marketing project as well and try get funds from donations for it? What devs think about this and have we any candidates for it? Absolutely agree. But forget about donations. This would cost at least few tousands. If devs can give these money I might connect them with the right people. You are right about donations. Too small community for it. |

I was ignored by the dev. I guess this crypto currency is over-hyped. No explanation on how would epawncoin works, much more the stake being offered to investors about shares in the exchange. All blah blah blah .Not very promising as I understood the first time the coin had been introduced. $5 / pawncoin? dream on and welcome to neverland . ePawncoin is a next generation that will have asset and decentralize exchange. We are still working on the development. 40% of the exchange[coinpod.net] will be offer for IPO. This week is very busy due to conflicting work schedule. IPO thru what? cryptostock or burning of pawncoins to be epawncoins? We are considering bitcoinbourse, Havelock or Cryptostock. We don't want to hold IPO for coinpod.net before we start having huge volume so that it will not be undervalued. There's no IPO for epawncoin and its not a Bitcoin clone Thank you telling something from further. May i ask what plans you have for coinpod.net features? If features are business secrets and you are afraid someone might steal them, then can you at least to say estimate when something new will be out? When fixed rates comes? |
