 this one is actually very good, the bottom one especially, but for the purpose of mass appeal any colour scheme could work, I also agree that the anon and thief looking slogans may not be the most appropriate symbols. this one is eye catching, professional looking and creative while keeping with the theme. imo. |

a dev that delivers Sooo, what has he delivered yet?  There few coins with nice devs either. Why Cloak? well speaking from what ive seen so far, and my reasoning for investing personally: they set deadlines and meet them early, they have corrected any major faults and causes of major fud spread with relative quickness, do not bother to respond to the minor and insignificant garbage spreading efforts, and in general have been very prompt with delivery of news and updates on a regular basis or with such surgical precision one has to come to the conclusion that they might just know what they are doing... |

I saw this on the Monero Economy thread and decided that Cloak is definitely onto something bigger. I bought into Monero very early as well. I watched it sit on one exchange for months and do nothing but I see the same innovation in CLOAK that I saw in Monero and trust me when I say that with a good coin, patience pays off. People see CLOAK as a threat, if it wasn't a threat you wouldn't have these worms coming in here and spreading fud.  ^this guy \m/ |

Have you tried going to debug and typing repairwallet? If not try it and lete know. You may have to also update your .conf file pretty sure he's talking about the bittrex wallet maintenance |

If not, what other resource is there for mining Cloakcoin? READ THE THREAD Not real helpful youngmike! What part of the thread addresses the lack of a venue to mine coins? Did I miss that somewhere? If so, please point it out to me (really!). I personally do not know, though I would imagine that they would be making their fixes to the pool as quickly as possible (if it IS broken, I have no idea what is wrong). I don't mine much anymore myself and am uncertain of the profitability rate of multipool mining currently, and as far as mining alternatives, I would say staking is the only one I know of at the moment, but that's a 6% per annum. we are trying to get on mintpal though if you have an acct and can click a vote button, that will help us all out in the long run. Third, what good is a coin that can not be mined because there is no venue for doing so and can not be traded because there are no exchanges that will accept it? Bittrex, as I understand, has stopped trading of the coin.
Lastly, what is the future of a coin when the developers can not even get the wallet to function properly?
Legitimate concerns? I think so and would love to have reasonable discourse about those concerns.

Dev, removing POW early will help stabilize price and help us move forward. Miners are stalling growth at the moment being on 1 exchange.
Dev, please announce the end of POW and or reduce the reward. It's the only way to grow this coin. Ending PoW or reducing the reward to artificially prop the price is not the way to go. Dev should stick to his originally plan. Let the free market decide the value of the network. I agree, wouldn't that be the worst possible move to make after the polo incident yesterday, politically speaking |

that is a good example why someone who does not know about software development should not even try to spread information. If you intended to FUD you could not have done it better. It seems that the price starts to drop without constant news about new features. I'm not that worried about dropping price but lower volume which is the #1 interest indicator. No high volume, no major adoption.
right now we're in the spot where most coins get to after hitting the second exchange, and we will hit this again. we cant have constant volume when volume is down on almost everything. We cant have constant news or promises when we know what is coming out. I would rather have a dev that works to get things done by the time he says they will be done than a dev spending way too much time here babysitting us and spreading too much hype about something that isn't being worked on due to hype spreading. if you're in too deep and are nervous, sell a little off on the next bump put it in something you feel is safer, but we're in for a ride with plenty more fud and downtime between updates (price will be higher by then I am sure). |
