As I said in my previous post. I was thinking that Afghanistan A will continue there performance so they did it. First of all Sri Lanka A performance was not good. They tried really well but they didn't go above 200+ runs. If they go above 200 so they could win. But unfortunately they didn't make that score. As you mentioned Riaz Hassan. He is really good in batting. He made 75 runs. By the Congratulations to Afghanistan on their winning.
Afghanistan do have tons of talent. A large number of Afghan players are participating in the Indian Premier League, and the numbers seem to go up with every year. After Australia, South Africa and West Indies, perhaps Afghanistan is the country that contributes to the largest number of foreign players to the IPL. On the other hand, players from Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are decreasing in number. They maybe a war torn country, but the Afghan Cricket Board seems to be very efficient. |

Both Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, after this World Cup, if they want to continue their careers as professional players, will have to review their positioning on the field, perhaps act more as a finishing center forward... mobility and agility deteriorate with age, so They have to use a little more positioning and finish plays towards the goal.
If they continue playing like they have throughout their careers, they will be easy targets for defenders.
At least for Cristiano Ronaldo, a position in the squad is not under threat at this moment. He is in good form, as we have seen during this season of the Saudi Pro League. Al-Nassr is at second position right now, and all set to qualify for the AFC Champions League Elite league. Cristiano Ronaldo is the top-scorer with 32 goals so far, and he is far ahead of Aleksandar Mitrović and Abderrazak Hamdallah. It can't get any better than this. India Women's team is performing very well and has won 4 matches to increase their success and matches. Their team plays the match supporting each other. And when that happens, the team wins. In this match too, the Indian team has performed well and won the match by setting a target of 122. Their bowler stopped the runs with very good bowling and took the wickets to win the match. No matter how hard they try, Bangdesh are no match for the Indian women. They have a smaller player pool and almost none of the players have participated in franchise T20 leagues. This is what I thought too. RR choking in this manner right before the playoffs is a bad sign for them. Momentum is on KKR's side. Hope, they didn't peak too early lol. Always happens with Rajasthan Royals, right? Their two batting superstars for this season (Sanju Samson and Riyan Parag) did a decent job. But in the end, a 220 plus target proved to be a bit too much for them to chase. They lost the game because their bowlers were really wayward. Avesh Khan went for 42 runs in 2 overs. Trent Boult and Sandeep Sharma went for 48 and 42 respectively from their 4 overs. Only Ravichandran Ashwin bowled economically, as he conceded just 24 runs from his 4 overs (and picked 3 crucial wickets). |

There is going to be a lot of controversy after this match. The main reason why Rajasthan Royals won this match was due to the fact that Sanju Samson was given out when he was caught by Shai Hope near the boundary line. For me, it looked as if Hope's foot was touching the boundary rope. Samson was quite upset and he had an argument with the on-field umpires. After he got out, wickets fell like a peck of cards, and in the end Rajasthan fell short by 21 runs. Samson fans are going to be mad at Michael Gough, the TV umpire.

I believe that Messi will retire before Cristiano Ronaldo... Both are already showing signs that they will not play any longer, perhaps the World Cup will be the farewell for one of them... They are playing in lower leagues, Messi plays in a league which only serves to make money... Anyway... these are their last acts. After all, if they decide to leave the teams they currently play for, which big competitive club would want to sign them? I think none.... I don't think that there is much chance of Messi taking part as a player in the 2026 World Cup. He has achieved all that he wanted, and he doesn't have anything to gain. On the other hand, Cristiano Ronaldo in all probability will be a part of the Portuguese squad. He has never lifted the world cup, and also he wants to play along with his son (Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., who is 13 years old at this point). By 2026, his son will be 16 years old and there is a remote chance that both will be playing in the same team. |

This was expected, as Renuka has been out of form for some time.

The Delhi Capitals team players performed very well in the power play and built a partnership for a long time. Mixed results for Afghanistan. They lost the first three matches and therefore the series. But then made a comeback by winning the last two matches. Most of their players didn't had any experience in playing outside Afghanistan. One player who stood out is Riaz Hassan from Nangarhar. He scored a total of 289 runs in this series. Also, their bowlers were impressive as well - especially Naveed Zadran, Bilal Sami and Nangeyalia Kharote. Overall, the outcome should be a concern for Sri Lanka and not for Afghanistan.

LOL.. today it was very close match between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe at Chattogram. The Africans fought hard, but in the end the Bangladeshis had the last laugh. Towhid Hridoy and Jaker Ali took the hosts to a decent total after the top-order got out cheaply. Blessing Muzarabani was amazing and returned figures of 4-0-14-3. Saudi Arabia born Faraz Akram was included in the squad, but he was quite expensive (somewhat made up for that, with a score of 34 from 19 balls while batting).

Delhi Capitals started so well, but then lost their way. The way Jake Fraser-McGurk and Abishek Porel was batting, I thought that a score of around 250 was possible. But then they collapsed from 110/2 to 150/5. Tristan Stubbs and Gulbadin Naib are at the crease right now, but the good news for Capitals is that dangerous Ashwin has completed his spell (4-0-24-3). They still need to face Yuzvendra Chahal, but I believe that a total of around 220 looks possible from the Capitals.

Several teams including India and Pakistan have already unveiled their jerseys ahead of the T20 World Cup. India's jerseys are manufactured by the world famous company adidas. The jersey that India has made for the T20 is undoubtedly going to be loved by everyone and if I were to say something about India's jersey, I would say that India's jersey has been amazing. As India's jersey is made by the world renowned company Adidas, I will give the jersey a mark of 9 out of 10. I have seen India's unveiled jerseys as well as Pakistan's unveiled jerseys but I like Pakistan's jersey the most. Maybe I wouldn't have realized that such a beautiful jersey can be made in one's own design if I hadn't seen this Pakistan World Cup jersey. As Pakistan have made their own design jerseys, I will give them a jersey mark of 10 out of 10.
This is the Indian jersey: Apart from the orange part, it looks like the same boring stuff. Why India is always in blue? I am watching them for the last 20-25 years, and they never change their colors. I don't understand this obsession with blue. And here is the Pakistan jersey: Again, looks like the same boring stuff. We have only 7-8 countries playing cricket regularly. The least they can do is to change their jerseys once in a while. |

Jake Fraser-McGurk is a perfect example of how the Indian Premier League is helping SENA nations to develop their own T20 talent. This guy was beyond amazing today. Scored 50 from just 20 balls, and that included an over from Avesh Khan that went for 28 runs. Abishek Porel at the other end was completely overshadowed by Fraser-McGurk. But once he got out, Porel started smashing the Rajasthan bowlers all around the park. Rishabh Pant is at the other end, and life is not going to get any easier for Rajasthan bowlers.

I was not expecting that kind of performance from Afghanistan A team that was really great. I told in my previous post in this thread that we should not underestimate the Afghanistan A team they can make a good comeback so.they have done that. Srilanka played well and made 276 runs but Afghanistan A team was in good form and they tried well to chase the target until they chased the target and won the match. From Sri Lanka A team Nishan Madushka wqs good and he made a century and from Afghanistan A Riaz Hassan wqs good who also made a century. Excellent performance Afghanistan A congratulations on your win.
One thing that I like about the Afghan team is that they have a well-organized domestic setup, where province-based teams compete. On the other hand, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh still depends a lot on club-based domestic cricket and it is restricted to the cities of Colombo and Dhaka respectively. And this ensures a regular supply of talent for the Afghan team, while Sri Lanka can't replace their experienced cricketers that easily. Anyway, they won the match yesterday thanks to Riaz Hassan. 276 was a tough target, but the opening partnership between Hassan and Zubaid Akbari gave them a good launching pad, that was used later by the middle order batsmen. |

Lack of quality bowlers is hurting Lucknow Super Giants. During yesterday's match, everyone except Ravi Bishnoi went for 12 runs per over or more. Mohsin Khan was getting overhyped and he went for 28 from his 2 overs. Naveen-ul-Haq took wickets, but he also went for more than 12 runs per over. And I don't understand asking Yash Thakur to bowl 4 overs, when he is clearly not in good form. In a season that is dominated by the spinners, the experienced Krunal Pandya bowled just 2 overs.
