What's the reason BTC dipped quite hard today? I didn't hear any news or recent changes in the landscape, so what made it drop? Whales cashing out or something?
What do you expect from that? Bitcoin have run from $1200 to $2600 less than a month. There will be greed people will sell bitcoin for their money and start for another round to collect more bitcoin. No need news for this crash |

As to me, we can't really compare Litecoin on juice with Bitcoin on juice (i.e. on SegWit) Litecoin doesn't need it because it has no scaling issues so far and likely will never have (though, personally, I think this coin is heavily undervalued right now but not because of SegWit). Apart from that, we can't really say if the Litecoin price surge is due to SegWit activation, i.e. thanks to hype arisen, or simply many people started pouring their money into altcoins indiscriminately. I mean among major coins, since Dogecoin is likely cheaper but it was conceived as a joke and remains primarily a joke, which is not accepted anywhere apart from a few obscure exchanges. So with fees rising, Litecoin may make it as a fast, viable and reliable vehicle for transferring value between wallets and exchanges (Coinbase seems to have recently accepted Litecoin in addition to Bitcoin and Ethereum) That is the reason why I like litecoin. But sadly, litecoin is still undervalued and no one seems to care about this crypto. I do not know why. It is, yes. And this is part of the reason for a lot of the ill-feeling towards Ripple... instead of going for widespread public adoption they're bypassing it and working direct with the banks. (this is not a pro- OR anti-Ripple post!) Ripple is not positioning itself as a currency nor is Ethereum. It would seem that Dash would be next in line if they don't fix this scaling issue soon. I think that ltiecoin will be the next big thing because you need to know that they have activated the segwit and soon they will also have the lighting network for litecoin |

I have a small question here which make me curious for a few days: Are exchange wallets faster than pc wallets? I am using electrum and bittrex wallet. But with 20k satoshi, it only need less than 30 minutes to get the first confirmation from bittrex. With 80k satoshi, it took me 3 days to have the first confirmation from electrum

Everyone needs to remember that every investment has some risk involved, and it is exactly the same with bitcoin investment, we dont have so many differences !
In my opinion, investing money in Bitcoin is not ass risky as other types of investments because we know for sure that the Bitcoin prices will always go up. Many things are supporting bitcoin right now |
