It was only in early stages of bitcoin that it was mainly adopted by dark markets due to its anonymity and used it for trading illegal products.But,now things have almost changed and now bitcoin has investor base all over the world and it is widely used for trading purposes and bought as an investment.Bitcoin has traveled far ahead from its early stage and its now totally not in need of such dark markets for its progress.Now,dark markets have changed their attention towards altcoins like Monero which provides full anonymity.So no more blames on bitcoin.

Hello everybody. I would like to invest some money in bitcoin, I don't use that money and I don't need it for the next 2/3 years. I thought I found in bitcoin the perfect way to invest. BUT when I see the fees applied I don't see how the bitcoin will become mainstream! The fees are around 1mBTC which is approximatively 3$. Therefore what is the point of bitcoin? The only thing I see : big amount transaction But bitcoin won't be the money you use to buy your sandwich with those fees! I saw a post saying: yeah burger king is willing to accept bitcoin in russia. Hopefully mcdonald will follow ! But why would someone pay 3$ fee therefore a third of his burger king menu in fee? Will segwit may lower the fees? Thank you  Bitcoin for me is meant to be an investment because the returns of it just for saving is really huge when you compare it to other businesses. If you wanted to spend bitcoin then better spend it in large amount transaction because when you spend it that way, you will not worry so much about the fees. Bitcoin is a fantastic investment but do not forget that bitcoin more than anything is a currency and as time passes and more people begin to adopt bitcoin, then bitcoin will be able to fulfill its primary function, also segwit activation will help with that since transactions are going to be faster and cheaper. With constant speculation about the value of bitcoin, China claiming to ban exchanges of bitcoin, and some banks trying to create their own blockchains for their countries, What will happen to bitcoin if this become true? Will it be still used ? will it not be worthy anymore ?
There is no bad effect at all so do not worry about that. Banks are centralized and if they make their own cryptocurrencies and blockchains, there will be not many people using it unless you do not have knowledge about the blockchain. Ordinary citizens might use it because the government will force them. And, bitcoin will still grow and nothing can stop it |

I would suggest that WE as a community push the listing of OPT on exchanges like Cryptopia or Novaexchange. We just have to make trading of OPT easier for everyone! The big ones like Bittrex or Poloniex would be nice too, but the OPT tradingvolume is way to low for that right now.
In order to do that we need a lot of people asking Cryptopia and Novaexchange for a listing of OPT. We should do PR on socialmedia too.
