81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Lyrabar - Rare bar with Lyra2RE algorithm [CPU / GPU PoW] on: August 12, 2015, 02:11:29 PM
solo is impossible by design

how can that be? aren't the pools solo miners themselves?
actually it was a bug... which affected only getwork (pools don't use getwork, that's why it wasn't noticed until too late as most of the test for lyra2re were done over a test pool, the origin of the bug was discovered with lyra2rev2 as the testing was done on the wallet)

How does the pool submit the blocks and get the block data to process from the daemon?
I mean, if i want to set up a pool, what will the pool use to connect to the daemon and exchange the block data and send the results?

Best regards!

Already there. POW mining is over, CACH is a POS only coin now.

Congrats for the first phase of distribution completed and still going!

Cheers!

utc.erlog.pt

more than 1000 blocks without finding a block, and keeps on the same.
I think something must be wrong with the pool.

Best regards!

Ok, tried again and this pool definitely has problems. Again stuck for more than 1000 blocks without finding even an orphan.
Best regards!

I want my money back on ultrablockparty please.

Admin can be nice ? I still have more than 17,000 utc stuck over there !

That's a huge amount!

The big question is: is there a possibility that the admin forces a manual payout for a certain account? If that's the case, then there's no problem, i can prove i'm the owner of the account as i have the email address.

Best regards!

Pleaase, my utc's are still trapped in ultrablockparty, is there anyone i can contact directly about the matter?

If there is anyone that can force a transfer, the wallet is correct, the only wrong thing is that the emails do not work.

Thanx

Yeah,me also, same problems...hope that somoeone can do something about

It would help if somebody knows who administer the pool, the contact form doesn't work either, obviously because of the nonfunctioning emails, so nobody can tell the administrator that something is going bad.

What's the command line to start the daemon with stake minting enabled? or the config option, it's the same

Thanx!

meanwhile, ultrablockparty is still not working properly...

Yeap, my UTC still trapped there. Is there anything we can do? I work on IT, i have managed hundreds of servers, i have a software development company working on fairly big sites, and never, NEVER took me so long to fix an email gateway, or to fix a PHP application to correcty send emails, like 4-5 hours at the most? Plz...

Thanx a lot for your effort!

Best regards.

Hello ladies & gentlemen,

Firstly, I wanted to apologize about the disruptions in the pool's, we rely on the pools to keep Ultracoin afloat and any problems we take very seriously. Most issue's have been resolved and e-mails should be reaching users that use major e-mail services like Google. Kracko is currently working on switching the pool's over to an anonymous system where users are paid out automatically and do not need to sign up for an account to use the pool. This will create a much more stable platform as well as provide a layer of anonymity for our users.

I think emails from ultrablockparty are still not going out. To be honest, i think the site is just not being able to send emails, it hungs up a good time before returning a white screen, then if you click reload and tell the browser to resend the form the site responds saying that an email has already being sent, but there's nothing in the inbox, nor in the spam folder where it would arrive if the problem would be from gmail itself treating the emails as forged or nontrustworthy.

The reductions are very interesting, but in reality, i would not mine ultracoins at a rate lower than the one i currently have. Maybe i'd move to another coins, as all this sudden changes from the planned behavior of the coin (changing what the stakeholders would have expected and trusted in) is exactly the behavior that the crypto wanted to avoid: a central organization twisting their currency. Anything may go high and up, but if the currency is solid in its behavior, with time it will settle. Now i don't want to have a central bank with the name "ultracoin dev team" changing things around as they see fit, no matter what.

Also, seeing that the problems on the pools are not being solved at all and however announced as solved, obviously sets my trust apart.

I would stick to the original plan, it has come along well up until now, it should go well in the future also.

Best regards!

Wouldn't it be nice if this thread's op was updated with the new thread and then closed?

Who is responsible for ultrablock? This is unacceptable! Where are the management team??? You want us to invest in your coin but are doing sod all!

We have contacted our hosting service and are currently in talks concerning a solution. I personally aplogize for the disturbance, but unfortunately because we don't own the servers there is only so much we can do before the ball is no longer in our court. It appears to be a problem with the Reverse DNS Lookup which marks our e-mails as spam to major e-mail services like Gmail, Yahoo! and AOL.

We are working on the problem and will update the community once everything changes.

@Barbados

The wallet does not effect the actual UTC balance associated with the address (as everyone carries the balance in their own public ledger across the network). It sounds like it's a glitch within the Russian wallet, I will bring it up with Kracko and see if we can find a fix. As I have only used the English version personally I haven't had any issues or had any reported. Have you tried downloading the Russian version on a different computer with your wallet.dat? I will try it myself tonight and see if I run into any similar issues.

Sincerely,

Steven "Rapture"
Management Director

Ultracoin

I use gmail and the account edit emails do not arrive at the spam folder, and when we try to use the "contact" form it throws an error at the user saying "There was a problem sending the email", that's showing that the emails are not even going out.

UTC Value still going down, and coins still trapped in both tumblingblock and ultrablockparty.

Best regards.

Well, tumblingblock still has their pplns payouts disabled and ultrablockparty team has just vanished, and ultracoin price has started to go down, without me being able to withdraw my coins from the pools.
ultrablockparty just have to setup their email sending, that's all.

Can you guys plz fix the pools?
Thanx

Best regards!

Hey ppl!

Does anyone know how to contact ultrablockparty.com 's team? It seems the pool's email gateway is not working, so i can't make withdrawals, nor change my account settings, and the contact form also throws an error saying there was a problem sending the message, so i'm stuck and can't contact the team to inform it.

Best regards!

Any good peer list?
Some block explorers provide a peer list, seems to be very useful.

Best regards!
