81  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: April 27, 2023, 04:10:43 AM
Girona is one of the teams that posses threat against big sides in the LaLiga. They played out a goalless draw against Barcelona at home and I felt they’d show how good they are against this Real Madrid side. Girona have now given Barcelona the upper hand towards the title race...now I can confidently say, it is over for Real Madrid this season for the LaLiga trophy. Now Real Madrid are now five points ahead of third-placed Atletico Madrid who will play today. With this, the race for second could be vital this season.
There are teams like that in every league, teams that are not really great when you look at the regular season, but teams that could win against the big names somehow. Like Brighton in premier league, not a great team when you look at the regular season, but they do beat the big names somehow. Or Hoffenheim for Bundesliga, they are not great at regular season neither, but they managed to get draws and wins against the top three before.

I feel like that's just the case here as well and should not be shocked. Girona is one of those teams, just alright, not great when we are talking about the regular season, but when they play against the top three that becomes a lot better for them and suddenly everything changes and it does much better.
82  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: April 25, 2023, 07:46:34 PM
Although Sevilla was a weak team at the beginning of the season, this team is now very strong. At least that's what I feel after seeing the performance of this team in the last few matches. They won against Manchester United in Europa League. They performed well in the second leg. And Sevilla beat Villarreal in La Liga last match. This team is strong now. There is no way to underestimate the Sevilla team. And I think Sevilla will win the Europa League this season too. The Sevilla team will win against Juventus in the semi-final.
I agree, people look at their place at La Liga and assume that they are doing terribly but they had just one loss in the last 5 games as well and going higher right now in the league as well. This is why I honestly believe that we are not seeing them losing at europa cup neither because they are getting better at the league as well.

So, we should not be worried about the current situation and just be happy about the fact that it is going great and should be continued to do so for a while longer as well. I know that not many people would be able to actually make any changes anytime soon, but I feel like that's going to be Sevilla could win this as well, I know you will not think like that mostly, not many people at least, but I feel like they are on the right path to victory these days.
83  Economy / Speculation / Re: FTX recovered $7.3B in Assets and is considering restarting! on: April 25, 2023, 06:46:32 PM
Yes I did see this but let us be real about this. Why would someone want to put his crypto into this exchange ever again? It does not make sense for FTX to try this again.
Those people that will say, give them a chance but even if I haven't used them at all. I'll never give it a second try or even once. And those victims are gonna wait for their refund from the fiasco they're involved with.
Yeah, that's true, why would you give a chance to a place that already made a mistake and failed? I mean why would I not go with something that never made a mistake to begin with. Look at bitcoin, have we ever said "oh sorry, give it another chance" so far? Of course not because it's decentralized.

FTX is an exchange and so far every single exchange that failed, stayed failed because they can never get those people back. They have some investments and they should just pay the investor's back with all of that, and that is only if it is true. I still suspect that all of this is just made up and they haven't recovered anything and they just figured out a way how to get that much money, but they won't and nothing will be better for them ever again, and CEO is definitely going to jail without a doubt.
84  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: April 25, 2023, 08:16:51 AM
I wouldn't be sad if Monaco Grand Prix is gone in the calendar. It is like one of the most boring races of a season. You know about how tight the roads are. I don't call it a decent race as long as a race isn't full of overtakes between drivers. But unless there are simple mistakes Monaco Grand Prix will just make you bored after watching it a little. At least it is the affect on me about this.

Azerbaijan Grand Prix is closing in on us. Next Sunday we are going to watch another race in the season finally. This is a really special one at the same time. Verstappen is absolute favourite of course unless he has some kind of problems. But I'd love to see Ferrari having a solid race here finally.
Monaco is a super boring race only when the weather is good, last year if I recall it correctly it was with rain and a lot of things happened that impacted the race and where we saw Perez as the winner. It is boring I agree but is one of the most iconic F1 races and as such it won't be going away soon from the calendar as F1 for me would not be the same without such an iconic race which in some seasons has been a really beautiful one to watch.

Finally after almost one month of waiting this weekend we will be back in racing and finally it won't be a boring weekend anymore. It is another street circuit but one long and wide one so overtaking here is really possible and the race promises to be a good one.
I disagree. Most people think that Monaco is boring because there are very rarely anyone passing each other, but that makes it even more fun. Too many people considered taking it out but that would be a shame. Historically it is such an important one because it changes everything about the strategy part of the racing world, that is a great track to make sure that you do as well as hoped for.

Even if you are second and overtake the first, just go right near him and use your DRS and that way you will not hurt your tires too long, don't overtake him if you can't, but you can be more ready whereas the first would run out of everything to keep you there, then they will pit, and you will have 1-2 more laps that you can just rush with whatever you have left and then you can pit as well and the result would be overtaking thanks to pit strategy. That's wonderful, not saying people will be able to do it, but that is what racing at Monaco is all about, strategy.

PSG is ready beat chelsea. I don't even think chelsea will be wanna spending more than 100 millions for him. PSG already prepared 133 millions. Chelsea is also having problem with FFP when it was buying so many players in winter.

Chelsea needs to sell so many players before it will able to create an offer for osimhen. As far as i remember that if chelsea has been making a deal with nkuku from lipzig.
Nkuku will be coming next season. It's very hard to say if chelsea really needs osimhen now caused by chelsea already got a striker.
Manchester united is also still monitoring the situation that is still happening with osimhen.,

coinlocket$, It doesn’t matter if he is not getting any offers from other clubs or not. He really should not join Chelsea. There are other leagues that will be a better choice for him right now. and if he is not getting any other choices, I believe he should stay where he is right now. Moving to Chelsea will be a mistake for him in my opinion. Because I don’t think Chelsea will be doing better in the recent future.
To be fair it is a bit about the money. If he is offered a lot from Chelsea, and not nearly as much by other teams then we are not going to really expect him to reject Chelsea on the grounds that there are other better teams.

These people play for a set period of time, they do not earn until they are 60 and if he doesn't become a manager or a pundit, he may not have any other income ever after he retires. So he needs to make as much money as he can and if Chelsea offers him the most, and seeing how they are spending money they might, then we need to realize that he will have to accept it. This is why it is important for other better clubs to offer him at least close amounts, even if they do not offer the same, at least needs to be something that is small enough to not matter at all.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next bull market comes in June on: April 25, 2023, 03:03:33 AM
There is no guarantee or promise that June will be a new “bullish” period. Even if you are that good in reading and analyzing the charts, TAs, etc., we cannot say that it’s gonna be bullish in June or any day, week, month, year, etc.

This is just another speculation based on the updates that you have shared to us. We just have to be prepared to expect the unexpected.

And in your last sentence, it seems that you are trying to indirectly shill FireDAO which is somewhat irrelevant to the discussion. You could have put it in your signature instead.
I agree, there is absolutely no guarantee that any period is a bullish period beforehand. We can hope about that, we can assume that, we can speculate about that but we can't really know about it. If it was that simple then we would have put all our money whatever is the highest daily and then we would be rich within a few days or a week at most.

However, we can do predictions and I do believe that we are going to have a better 2023 for the rest of the year as well. Not that we won't have any drops, of course we would have drops but that doesn't change the fact that we are going to end up with a profit, the year will end at somewhere higher than 30k if you ask me, but that is a prediction and not something I know, I just feel like it will be above 30k when the year ends, but maybe I am wrong, who knows.
87  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: who Want To Bet On 2024 USA elections? on: April 24, 2023, 09:03:52 AM
Trump is far ahead of everyone else as far as the Republican nomination is considered. I was hoping that Ron DeSantis would offer some resistance, but in the recent months his backing has gone down catastrophically (and there is a very strong chance that DeSantis may not even enter the race). At this point, the only chance that Trump will not contest the 2024 POTUS elections is if he is arrested and put into jail. Nation-wide, he is leading Biden by a healthy margin, and Trump hasn't enjoyed these sort of leads anytime during his political career in the past.
And this is the reason why Trump's critics are dead set on putting him in the jail.
But even if he has a lot of felony charges, do you really think he will go to jail for such offense?
If he will run for Presidency, I highly believe, he will win over Biden, if Biden will run again.
Even if convicted, he can still run for Presidency if he decide so.
Remember, their Constitution requires only 3 things -

They must be:

A natural born citizen.
At least 35 years old.
A resident of the US for at least 14 years.

https://www.loc.gov/classroom-materials/elections/presidential-election-process/requirements-for-the-president-of-the-united-states/
And not committed any federal crimes, that is something you should remember, plus states could exempt people from running if they are a criminal. Not many criminals you see that are politicians... of course that's a joke, almost all of them are corrupt criminals but Trump would be found guilty. All in all I am guessing that the guy with 2 impeachments, and a guilty verdict on his name may have hard time being the nominee legally, not because he would lose, he might still win, which tells a lot.

I mean this nation is willing to elect someone who has been impeached twice and found guilty, because the other side offers someone who can't even fathom a single sentence clearly, let alone actually say it out loud. Those are the two options, which I feel like not options at all. I hope that someone becomes a candidate as third option and gets votes from both sides and make a change in this politics.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it advisable to invest on Solana? on: April 23, 2023, 06:06:30 PM
Lots of users here are still cautious about Solana because FTX are involved with it and they are planning to restart their crypto exchange again. Where do you think they will get the money? People suspects from their Solana investment but it was still up to you if you will invest on it because it was your money not ours.

it's most certainly always good to invest in solana but the thing is, there is many new altcoins that could give you good profit better than solana like arbitrum.
but it doesn't mean solana is bad for investment, it's still good it's just that there are some coins out there that have better potential.
I'm not usually into newer altcoins but I can sometimes make an exception if I feel that the old coin is starting to deteriorate plus there are new coins which are seem solid. One of it could be Arbitrum. Maybe the OP wants to consider this instead of Solana? Or he can invest most of its money on it and leave something for Solana.

Barcelona and Roberto Firmino have had a verbal agreement.
Firmino has agreed to join Barcelona for free at the end of his current contract at Liverpool. His contract ends this July.
Klopp would have likes Firmino to remain at Liverpool but Firmino is hell bent on moving on to another club.

Personally, I don't think this is good decision from Barcelona. There is no point having a 31 year old as the back up striker of a 34 year old. Firmino is in decline currently. Barcelona needs a young and promising striker to be the back up for Lewandoski not a declining striker.
He could able to make some important goals with Liverpool this season but indeed he lost his place in starting lineup because Klopp was more likely to playing other players such as Gakpo to his position in the team and in my opinion verbal agreement doesn't guarantee Firmino will choose Barcelona as his new club because some of big teams in europe still interested to him

But if this rumour is true i think Barcelona has clever moved with signs him because with firmino quality he still able to performing well besides that Barcelona will get him for free and although Firmino isn't categorized as young player anymore but with his current age i think Firmino still capable to playing at high level of competitions such as Laliga
I do agree that it is a move that they do not "need", but if you can get Firmino for free, why wouldn't you? That's also a very valid point. I understand that the best thing to do in this case would be getting a cheap player. Considering they are in very high debt, they will need some players without a doubt and getting them for free is always a good decision.

Firmino leaving Liverpool makes sense too, he has spent so much time there and won so much with them and suddenly they just benched him this year and made him feel unwanted, if he is going to feel unwanted, at least he could feel it in some other team and not at the team he provided so much to win together. Maybe he won't play much at Barcelona too but that would not feel like a betrayal to him at least, whereas not getting the time he wants at Liverpool surely feels like a knife to the back.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10k investment on: April 23, 2023, 03:50:41 PM
From yesterday, XRP is indeed one that will make a profit, but they are not easy to go through. I think it is very risky to invest in XRP because of the problems they are facing. As for ADA, I think it's still gray to invest there. why not in ETH which obviously might have a lower risk than the two??
XRP still has their trouble with SEC and I do not think that it will go away soon. I hope that it does, but I would never touch that until it does. Right now, they are seen as a company that created their own credit, which means that just like how you go to any shop that has their own members card or something where you earn points when you shop there, the official ruling is that they could be considered like that and not a crypto company, difference is that their member points are also XRP.

So until Ripple fixes that, we are going to see them having trouble with SEC and maybe even fed at this point if they keep breaking the law according to them. So it is best to avoid them and find something with less problems and more potential instead.
91  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: April 22, 2023, 08:10:03 PM
~snip~
The quality of the stadiums and any other facilities should be obviously higher than the last world cup we saw because four years passed and we can have better technologies for stadiums and this can definitely help the hosts, while in some countries they don't have a good financial system like Qatar does, they can't provide good quality facilities if they don't already have enough facilities.

Well, 2 out of the 3 countries have already hosted the world cup in the past, Mexico and the US. So basically there's a big chance they would just be reusing their current infrastructure.

I don't think they're going to spend too much making new stadiums or renovating old ones.
Most of the time it's not about stadiums, it's about other stuff as well. Qatar didn't spent 200 billion on stadiums, not even close, that was just a few billion dollars and all the others went to many more airports (or renovation to the current ones) state of the art hospitals, with literally everything you could ever imagine and not just one, nearly a dozen, roads that would be not just regular roads, but bridges and sea tunnels and so forth as well. Basically they built the nation from ground up.

So, USA and Mexico and Canada could end up still spending billions on this. Russia had stadiums too, but spent nearly 20 billion on this, why? Because they needed to be ready for all those people coming in. You need to remember that in most of the time you do not expect tens of millions of people to come and go in a month period, that's extra and that requires getting ready.
92  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 22, 2023, 07:19:30 PM
For Juventus this was really important.  We're talking about a 15-point difference, and when this penalty is lifted, they suddenly have the standings to play in the champions league.  Atalanta, on the other hand, was upset about this because they are out of the ranking of European cups for now.  Of course, the league is not over yet and if they try, there is still a possibility of going to the European cups.
With the 15 points back, this game became that much more important for Juventus. They got 2 losses in a row and that was alright back when they lost it because they were looking for something a bit different, they were down and winning the game meant nothing for them at all. But now that we are at a point where they are only 2 points behind Lazio, that means Juventus needs to win this game to keep up the case going for a while longer.

However, to their luck, the game they will play right after this news is against Napoli. With Napoli being out of the UCL and almost guaranteed to win the league title, they may not care but if they do, they are a very good team that can beat anyone, so it is going to be a tough game for Juventus. If they can win this, then they could potentially get the second place a little later as well.
93  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: April 22, 2023, 06:41:33 PM
Currently, there is a race to go to the Champions league between Lens, Monaco and Marseille.  That's why the Monaco-Lens match turns into something more valuable than ever.  While waiting for Marseille to lose points, when one of these two teams wins, it will automatically push the other team out of the race.  A critical match awaits us, where the winner decides his fate.  I still expect a balanced match with a high probability of a draw.
Lens do seem like the better team usually, they may have lost their last game but that was against PSG so that was an expected loss, aside from that the last game they lost was in 12th February against Lyon. This proves that they have been very good team for a while as well. By comparison Monaco ain't that bad neither, just a month later, they lost a game all the way last month, and it has been a while so I guess they are good too but they got a draw and a loss in the last 5 games so they do "look" worse.

I think this is a game between two very good teams and should probably change something in the long run as well. I think the loser of this game will be out of the UCL discussion and I hope that there will be a winner, because a draw would mean not a good result for both teams at the same time. Marseille would be the only team that would cheer a draw between these two teams because they would be that much closer for sure.
94  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading have concepts on: April 21, 2023, 06:49:15 PM
Emotions part is very true, it is not easy to keep your emotions in check that quickly, it may take some time to make a profit when the time comes because you are worried or fearing or happy or excited or whatever else. You may make mistakes if you think with your heart and not with your brain, a lot of people make that mistake and that causes them to have a trouble in the future.

It is going to take some time before we can master trading, but if we can master not using our emotions as our first step then the rest will come easier. Sure you need to learn TA, or need to learn how to read a chart, or many other million things, but if you can't control your emotions then all the other stuff means nothing at all.
That is the hardest part to master as well. I know you said we should do that at first, because rest is less important, but learning the rest is easier. For example learning what bollinger band is and what it does and what happens when it is X number or Y number, those are all easy stuff, it takes maybe an hour or two to learn what it is, and surely there are many other things like that so it takes time to learn it all, but you just learned that in a few hours.

Whereas emotions are not like that, to learn how to control it and not let it get to you when you are trading is not something that can be done in a few hours, it is something you try to master for months and that is why it takes a long time to make it happen for a while.
95  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't encourage multiple trading! on: April 21, 2023, 06:04:05 PM
My friend loves opening different trades at a time, most at times is difficult for him to control what's should be. Trading on free chart with multiple opening can be very dangerous. Yesterday he experience unusual hit when bitcoin price drops again, four trades loss at once when the market go against him. Personally I don't advise multiple trade especially when you're not familiar with trade
I find it very difficult to keep track of many coins, it is even more difficult to trade all of them, especially if you are at an early stage. If you have the desire and confidence that you will be able to control everything qualitatively, then try, but remember the importance of using stop loss. When there is a rapid fall, then you simply will not have time to exit all trades without losses, and this happens quite often. After several such mistakes, your friend may simply not have a trading deposit left.
Tracking them is easier when you use a portfolio app. I have one of them and I even connected it to my account in a way, it doesn't have any right to do anything but just read. This means that it can follow how much profit I made or how much loss I have.

This is how I keep track of it because anytime something goes down 5%, it sends me a notification and when that happens I take a look at it and make a decision. Either I sell it and get out, or I will keep holding it, and rarely even buy more if it is bitcoin because I love it when bitcoin price goes down, it means I can buy more when it is cheap. Long story short there are ways to trade 20+ different coins if you want, as long as you are willing to be a bit more careful about what you use to do that.
96  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's on! 2024 US Presidential Election Biden+Harris Vs Trump Bitcoin betting.... on: April 21, 2023, 05:04:11 AM
You don't need to worry about the odds from Biden or Kamala because chances are just a percentage of winning and not necessarily the truth.
Regarding the Covid wave, it might be very influential, especially in terms of the economy, but it seems that the Covid wave will not really be like a few years ago and if it has an effect, it might only affect economic and financial inflation.
Biden is indeed quite old with his current age which is 80 years old but he is still quite healthy so the risk is there but not too big to get to 18 months eighth.

You can't ignore COVID though. People are still dying and every now and then we are hearing about new variants and spikes. The last major variant (Omicron) had a low mortality rate compared to the Delta variant. But there is no guarantee that a new, more lethal variant will not appear all of a sudden. Anyway for POTUS 2024, a bigger risk is the poor health of Biden. He seems to be suffering from dementia, and it gets worse with age. Health condition of the candidates will definitely be one of the hot topics for the 2024 elections.
You have to keep remembering the reasons why people vote for who they vote for. People who are republicans end up voting because they like Trump, and people who are democrats do not vote for Biden because they like him, they vote for him because they dislike Trump.

You think Biden managed to get the highest ever voter turnout for him? Of course not, it was "vote whoever against Trump" that got that many people out of their homes. Looking at how Trump still could be the candidate, and likely one at that, I say Biden still has a chance if he was dead, let alone dementia. I say at least 50-60 million would vote for a dead person or a dog or a parrot, rather than vote for Trump, so when you have a very old Biden, he still gets most of the votes.

This feeding mode speculation just his opinion.

It's not only us, it happens to every gamble. Each time we have a big win after that we keep getting streak lose we can be thinking there has some bot chasing us because of that. Then, this speculation is happening.

Okay, let's say "feeding-mode" is real. Since, it's real and he knew why not play at the time the site not on feeding mode and avoid feeding mode time ? it's that really simple to play like that?

And let's see, did he still lose even without feeding mode or not? If, I really know the system like this (feeding mode when and what time) I will avoided playing and only playing on not feeding time.
It's not normal though, I mean just because it happens to some people, and just because some of them think like that it doesn't mean that it's true, it's wrong and then repeating that wrong thing over and over again by different people is hurting a brand, that's a fake information and in any other business that would be a case for lawsuit.

Imagine saying apple iphones causes cancer, would you be able to live like that by saying it out in the public? Like on social media or something? Specially if you get some followers backing you as truth? You would be sued and proven wrong. Same here but because it's a casino there is no lawsuit, you can just say any wrong thing and try to damage the brand as you want, because you know nothing will happen, that's unethical.
98  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to invest in BTC? on: April 20, 2023, 04:23:35 PM
The bottom in 2018 was around $3,000. The bottom in 2020 is not $3,000 but twice that. The price didn't fall below $6,000 in 2020.

Of course we cannot predict the price with accuracy. There were many times in the past when the price tumbled down when everybody was expecting it to rise. But there were also times when the price became aggressively bullish despite the bad news around. But I don't think $12,000 to $16,000 will be repeated soon. That's too far-fetched a possibility.
The current bottom this cycle was around 16k if I am not wrong, that means about 5 times bigger, and by that logic the top was 20k there, and the increase was about three and a half times bigger near 70k level as well.

So, when you calculate it like that, we could see that the price could become something a bit above 200k+ next run, and the drop could be something like a bit lower than 100k when it falls. I am not saying that is what it will happen, all I am saying is that this is one of the predictions but everyone has their own predictions and some say it will be half a million dollars, some say it will never pass the ATH ever again, I just believe in this, this is mine, and I might be wrong, I am just making a prediction like everyone else.
99  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for April on: April 20, 2023, 03:38:30 PM
One thing I have noticed is the step by step increase in Bitcoin prices from January to April. Bitcoin is nearing a bull market as the price of Bitcoin continues to rise as the day goes on. In February, Bitcoin price ranged from 20k to 22k and in March it reached 28k and stayed there for a long time. Bitcoin price has completed 30 in the month of April if we consider this history step by step Bitcoin price is rising every month. And by the end of 2023, the price of Bitcoin will increase twice as much as it is now. The reason for this is that we can learn from the past several months of 2023.
I do agree that it will increase, but double? I am not sure about that. Double would mean that we would be closer to 60k by the end of this year and that looks like a lot of money, I feel like that may not happen. I know that 40k does look like a possible thing but that doesn't mean that we should do something like that, we could see it do a lot better in the near future.

I think something like 40k is reasonable because of this, because it would be going up, but it can't go up all the time, the first three months was awesome but what if we have another 3 months where it just gets stuck and doesn't move a lot? That is why it would be better if we could just simply end up with 40k, since that means even with a break like that, we could go there.
100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: April 19, 2023, 07:21:21 PM
Even with a lot of warnings and cautions it is the person it self who can control it, it is his will power whether to stop playing gambling for good or keep being addicted to it. Usually people who are getting addicted to it are the people who need money the most, the reason they keep playing is either they wanted to earn quick money or chase their losses because they are regretting about the amount of money that they lose but instead they keep losing and losing.
Despite the existence of reminders and warnings about the effects of gambling addiction and testimonies of people who have fallen for compulsive gambling, there are still people who can't control their urge to gamble. It is a personal choice and could only be cured through a person's willingness to change his path. People who fall for gambling addiction are those who strongly believe that they can get rich in gambling and that they are even risking everything they have. One common reason why there are gambling addicts is that they have a wrong mindset towards gambling.
Almost every gambler still think that they can get rich by gambling. We are in 2023, we have mathematical proof that unless you hit the jackpot on something and get super lucky, then you won't get rich, and even in that case if you keep gambling then you will lose that back, so you need to wager once, win big, and then leave in order to win.

This is already proven and this is a FACT, when there is a fact that you won't become rich, why do people still think that it is possible? That is beyond my understanding without a doubt. All in all I have to say that the best thing to do right now is to make sure that we do what we can to have fun and enjoy ourselves, gamble responsibly like the title says, and focus on the fun side of things.
