MR8 (Year of the Ox) can be found in HF (holofoil - the real meta-rare), CS (crystal sparkle), and gemstone refractor (apart from the diamond)

The MR 8 is sent along with the Cardsmiths crypto wallet cards. They definitely exist!

Do some box's come with 11 cards, the "bonus card" I've seen on box's in ads?
I have only ever heard of 10 cards per box (5 per pack). Did you get 11 in 1 box? What's this "bonus card" you say you have seen in ads? So MR8s only come with *some* of the redemption cards? What’s the value of an MR8 right now?

Please post pictures of your Diamonds... would be great so I can add the to the card database!  Really happy for the last one They all look awesome! It looks to me like the diamond pattern on the #29 card is printed sideways... The other #29 gemstone cards i have seen have the pattern horizontal like the card. |

if there are 3718 MR refractors out of a million cards I think the odds would be 1:268. But on a side note there are 11 potential MR refractors but only 5 have been discovered. To date no refractors or holofoils have been found for MR3, MR4A, MR6, MR6A, MR7A, and MR8. So either these cards were dispersed into later boxes or weren't made at all. If only 5 MR refractors exist odds would be more like 1:645 I believe
1:268 sounds like odds per card. (My math comes to 1:274) Divide by 5 to get odds per pack: 1:55 1:124 odds would equal only 1625 MR so those have to be how many HFs (‘refractors’) there are, not the 3718 MR GRs. So there should be ~147 HF of each MR vs 338 GR of each MR I calculated the total number of gemstone refractor cards on this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5406560.msg60811706#msg60811706I don't have a calculator handy right now but it wouldn't be too hard to work out how many MR gemstones should have been printed. One factor that may change the numbers is that we are still yet to see the MR6 card, I think every other MR holofoil card has been found apart from that one |

Also - can confirm I have not received any tracking on diamond redemptions
Redemptions are an entirely manual process, so there would not be any sort of automated email. Should see something today though. Gonna go out on a limb here and say nobody received an email eh? All of the Diamond Gemstone Refractors shipped yesterday via USPS. For those close to IL, you might even see yours in tomorrow's mail. Most likely Monday for everyone else. That sounds great and thanks for the update, but I would really like to get an email with a tracking number. Since I am not in the US I am guessing mine will take awhile to arrive Are emails going out with tracking numbers? |

Regarding the MR cards, the true MR cards found at the odds of 1:124 are the holofoil version, not the crystal sparkle version. It’s a bit confusing to learn everything but I think I got it now. It is a little weird that MR HF is more rare than MR gemstone refractors, and that they call the MR HF ‘refractors’. Dang so two of three of my boxes had CS MR when it takes about 24 boxes to find two. Plus the gemstones, not bad at all. I guess I’ll expect less from my next two lol. I believe that a MR gemstone would be more rare than a HF version. We haven't seen many MR gemstone cards yet. |

I don't think collectors would be stressing/questioning so much if we received an email confirming that the set(s) we sent in were actually received complete and accepted to exchange for a Diamond refractor. The tracking shows my set was received at Cardsmith, so I am assuming all is ok. @JUPITYR are you able to tell us if any sets were sent in incomplete? or was all good and everyone who sent in a set for redemption will receive a Diamond refractor? |

I think I’ve found a new addiction  My first 3 boxes from GameStop got me some great cards: Amethyst #57 CS MR5 CS MR2 Ruby #46 I’m curious how the odds are calculated on the MR GRs. Surely there can’t be 12.4x less MR GR cards than base GR (1:10 odds vs 1:124) From a rough calculation isn’t it like 1:56 instead? Either way, I’m feeling lucky so I ordered two more packs lol. Hey all im new to this forum and just bought my first 2 packs of the currency trading cards. I got a redemption and a couple holograms. I've been trying to find the value and what not of a 1A onyx but it's hard to find anything. Any ideas of its rarity or something like price? Thanks!

Also, the first (small) group of approved Diamond Refractors should be going out today or tomorrow. I signed off on a few sets yesterday. Well, remotely anyway. ;-)

Bought out all the local gamestops in my area. Nothing great - best pulls were a 1A base, and the MR4 Cardano card in holo, cs, and a /49 refractor
Still hunting for more redemptions of course but came up empty

We can work out how many MR gemstone cards there is, and we know that the crystal sparkle cards are found at a rate of about 4 per case, but what we don't know if how many actual 'real' MR holofoil cards were released? Hint: For series 2, please number any card that are case hits or higher |
