downloaded config file, but still getting no block source. Are there any other nodes I can add?
Can you verify that at least 1 active connection is established? The most common issues are either 1) the config file isn't in the exact location it needs to be in, or 2) some kind of networking or firewall issue that is stopping your machine from being able to connect to the nodes.

I still say this is one of the more innovative coins we've seen lately. It's got technical and social leaps, with a dedicated, hardworking developer. I think we'll see this thing go places.
Thanks for the support! PM us your CFN address for some coins, and write a confession today :-) UPDATE: Also, I have to admit that multiple people on our team are using this username to post ...

remove the bonuty from your ann thread? but I find it in my chinese thread, can you pay that?thanks! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=607506钱包翻译 - 3% Chinese - .5% Korean - .5% German - .5% French - .5% Spanish - .5% Portuguese - .5% 手语 - .:.. Unfortunately The bounty was for a wallet translation, not an announcement thread translation. But PM us your wallet address and we will send you a few coins anyway for your effort with a thread translation UPDATE: Also, we removed those bounties because it came to our attention that the wallet translations were included in the wallet already, thus no need for a specific bounty.

Price too far ![Angry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/angry.gif) What does this mean? I think it's a bad translation and he wanted to say "Price too high". Right now there is no buy offer at CoinNext.com. So make your price and maybe someone will dump their coins to you... Oh, ok, that makes sense, thanks for the translation :-) The coins have utility on the site, so for now, it's perhaps important to think about that rather than a price. We want people to have fun using the site after all. We understand that not everyone mines though, so buying is a normal option to get started. But don't forget, there are free coins being given away on Reddit! http://www.reddit.com/r/ConfessionCoin/comments/26i7bw/post_your_confession_adresses_and_recieve_some/

Have there been any coins that store information on the blockchain in this sort of way?
BTC has had this from the start... google it... Yes, it has, but to a much lesser extent (less characters). Also, try building something like this on top of their blockchain without getting the smackdown :-P Quite right about characters... but they could not stop you from inserting these into blocks via the same method you are using... all that changed here is the actual tag is added whereas putting into BTC would require the parsing site to use some sort of identifier at the start or end of the text to flag it so you got only confessions. Regardless... the functionality has been here... CFN just took it to the next level and made it a real feature worth using. Technically... no one would have to use the site to create a confession... if they knew how to craft the entire transaction and submit it raw they could add it on their own and your site would parse it for only 1 satoshi + fee. About the last part, that's partially true, however, the site does not display ALL confessions stored in the blockchain -- only those entered through the site. In theory, you could create your own site that used the same blockchain with a completely different set of confessions. Or a unique site that simply shows all as you said. The original implementation did it like that, but we restricted to those entered through our site specifically to avoid allowing some people to skip the penance while getting the same confession posted to our site as a normal person using the system as intended. It also aims to avoid noise/spam, since paying the penance is an incentive to not post noise/spam.

I wish you the best luck dev ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Thanks for the support CHMinePeeR! We will be working hard to make this coin great!

We could use some more reliable full nodes on a public IP for the baseline configuration (the addnodes part of the confessioncoin.conf file). We do have bounties for this as well (see OP). Any takers? PM or post here!

Well it's true, the main pool was finding blocks. It now show them. I even have 0.17 CFN confirmed.
Great, that's true! Berric helped us out -- we're still looking into some of the cron issues on the pool. Most of the wallet issues seem to have been resolved though?

Has anyone actually found a block cpu soloing?
Just mined one! Transaction ID: 53c12515edc94e25c5fd3c1fd9d2b3f4200ef1bdac30aacc0b72a63c4f4616bf Maximum possible confessions: 2 I like your sense of humor :-) This thread does not allow giveaways, but we're starting one up on another site and will post the link soon.

Somebody (people) figured it out and is mining. Private pool fork?
I know that pool.confessioncoin.com is working and mining just fine now -- however, payouts are not working, as we are still resolving that issue. We also know someone else either has a pool or is solo mining correctly because this pool is NOT finding all of the blocks.

ATTENTION:
Thanks so much for bearing with us on this release. We definitely hit some nasty snags and are working hard to resolve them.
If you're mining on pool.confessioncoin.com, an issue is known that the funds are coming in, but may not appear in your confirmed/unconfirmed balances. We are having an issue with one part of the system, but all of your shares are recorded and when it's corrected, you will be paid what you've earned.

ok now average users can go on mine something else already before it really started - someone must've jumped the network with a ton of gpu rigs. "networkhashps" just exploded. ...
we need more gpu/asic resistant coins. nowadays you need to buy 4+ gpus if you wanna have even a tiny little bit of a share..
i'm outta here
Unfortunately, due to the bad launch and the delay, only 130 blocks are mined right now(!) Large hashrate aside, no one is jumping the network exactly ;-)
