little to say today, too much Juventus and little Milan, but it was largely predictable, just look at the formations and above all the changes. Juve have too many strong players, Milan barely manages to put 11 good players on the pitch. Add to this a giant performance by Chiesa, perhaps the best since he joined Juventus and the defeat served.
I've been saying this since September, Milan MUST buy players in the January transfer market, otherwise they risk losing all the work done so far.

Regarding MotoGP, this year Vale is 41 years old. Vale is the oldest rider at the MotoGP next season. He will race with Petronas Yamaha SRT at the MotoGP 2021. Of course the ambition to win the tenth world title remains, although I think it is difficult to do. What about 2022? Is he going to race again? Former MotoGP racer Karel Abraham predicts himself to retire and become manager of the team he created 'Sky Racing VR46 Team'. The reason is many teams have signed Dorna Sports as promoters which will end in 2021. This opens opportunities for the VR46 Sky Racing Team to take part in the MotoGp 2022 event.

I am Italian, I have lived for many years in the areas of Valentino Rossi, we cannot argue about his class, he was a great champion, but like many other champions, he doesn't know when to say enough.
It reminds me a little of Schumacher when he returned to Formula 1 with Mercedes, three bad seasons, almost always beaten by his teammate.
Rossi did a very bad 2020, but he didn't go any better in 2019, his last win seems to me to be in 2017. It makes no sense for a driver who has won all those titles to fight for a 10th place.

It is curious to see how Inter were "punished" by 2 goals from two former players, Keita and Candreva.
Conte probably underestimated the game, leaving Lukaku out until minute 60, also because he couldn't be tired since he hadn't played for 10 days.
Now I hope that Milan will win against Juventus and take a few points ahead of Inter

as I said last week, it seems that it is difficult to start the world championship in Australia, due to the 14 days of quarantine provided by the government, but there would also be problems for the Chinese Grand Prix, so F1 is thinking of a plan B, that is, to move the grand prix of Australia and China or even to race in different circuits

the first news now in the Italian newspapers is that after the second case of coronavirus positivity in Juventus, tomorrow there will be other tampons and even the match against Milan could be postponed, just as happened for Juventus-Napoli.
I am not clear about the rule according to which the ASL can decide whether not to start an away team, how many cases of positive covid do you need to have?

Milan and Juve also won, but it was quite predictable today, even if Milan, after Tonali's red card, had some problems (and Benevento missed a penalty). Juventus, on the other hand, won easily.
Now the first thing iteress will be on Wednesday with Milan-Juventus, if Milan manages to win (unfortunately still without Ibra), then they can really think about the Scudetto.
88  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 03, 2021, 05:20:14 PM
All of the games today were very much predictable. It should be another easy one for Milan while Juventus needs to win this to have some morale and keep fighting for the standings. Their last game with Fiorentina was a disaster on the same ground. Hope they'll be able to leave everything behind last year and perform well in whatever games left.

Napoli, Inter and Atalanta were actually quite easy to guess, but there is always a variable, usually after 2 weeks of stoppage the teams are not in the best condition, I would not have expected a victory of 3 with all those goals.
Now only Milan are missing (which after 15 minutes is already winning) and Juventus

Mauricio Pochettino is officially the new PSG coach, replacing the sacked Tuchel. He signed a contract until June 2022 (so short enough for a technician of his level).
Surely Pochettino has more experience in the Champions League, because PSG is aiming for this, given that in the last 9 years, they have won the French Ligue 1 eight times.
90  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 03, 2021, 04:12:14 AM
Naples and Rome are grappling with two "cases" that have nothing to do with football but that disturb the environment.
In Naples, Osimhen is stopped due to Covid, which he took at a party in Nigeria, while Roma with Zaniolo have bigger problems, in the expiration of the contract, he played 3 games in 2020 and we talk about him only for the gossip of the pregnant mother or ex-girlfriend or the new one.
These are situations that destabilize the environment and the two companies have to do something

You guys must be crazy if you think Mercedes would let Hamilton go for any price. They are going to pay him no matter what, they will pay him 50 million per year if they have to, they will give the rights of his own image if they have to, and do a 10 year deal if they have to.

You have to understand, this works out best when the team is far ahead of everyone else, even winning the championship on early races like at the middle of the season gives you so much more advantage because you start to work on the next seasons car, which Mercedes will want. Is Russel bad? Of course not, but if you give him the car, you are not guaranteeing a win there, you are just making sure that you have the best car and a good driver, but not the best driver, so Mercedes will want the best driver with the best car to guarantee the championship for themselves.

If this were the case, they would have already signed the renewal of the contract in October, Mercedes cannot lose Hamilton, but for the next 2 years, it cannot guarantee him a contract of 4 at that figure, in 4 years Hamilton will be 39 years old, you cannot think of paying that figure to an almost 40-year-old is the same thing that Ferrari did in Schumacher's time, especially when you have a driver at home, Russell, who can guarantee excellent performance.
For me they will agree on a 2-year contract, then Hamilton will leave Formula 1
92  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 02, 2021, 09:24:17 PM
a thought is coming to my mind more and more. Simone Inzaghi has not yet renewed his contract, today he said he will discuss it with Lotito shortly. If Pirlo doesn't start playing well and winning, I wouldn't be surprised if Juve replaced him during the season with Inzaghi, who probably hasn't renewed with Lazio yet, waiting for Pirlo's results.

94  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 01, 2021, 11:12:06 PM
I think the second half of the season the standings will change the position 1-3 with a slight point difference. Milan, Atalanta, Juve and Inter will be fighting over each other week by week. The reason is, Milan's performance is a little shaky, Inter is getting better, Atalanta with its consistency and Juvetus players are starting to show adaptations with Pirlo's strategy to be played well by the players.

it depends a lot on how the various teams will move on the January transfer market.
I read that the Inter management is not willing to spend a lot, it all depends on how much they will get from the sales of Vecino, Perisic and Eriksen.Milan will certainly spend very little, the only team that can afford to buy new players is Juventus.
for the fight for the Scudetto I think Inter and Juventus will fight (unless Milan buys 2 top players)

According to some news, Daimler want to extend Hamilton's contract for 2+1 years. But it seems that Mercedes are thinking of extending for 4 years exactly. I am really curious about how this will end. In my opinion, Hamilton would like to be champion one more time at least. But I am not sure about whether he would prefer extending for 4 years.

I was reading now on formulapassion, Hamilton wants a 4-year contract at 50 million euros for season plus more freedom of rights for the exploitation of his image.
he is a 7 times world champion, but he is also 35 years old, so his requests seem absurd to me, Mercedes has the best car, he would win even with Russel at 0 cost.
They will certainly come to an agreement, but I doubt it will be a contract beyond 2 years

Roma are going to play a home game against Sampdoria this Sunday. After having an embarrasing result against Atalanta (4-1), Roma managed to win 3-2 against Cagliari last week. They are the third in the league and they are 7 points away from the leader. Sampdoria are not a very stable team lately. Besides, Roma are the best team on home games right now. They got 5 wins and 2 draws in 7 home games. They scored 18 goals and conceded 7 goals on these matches. I think Roma will definitely win this match.

Fonseca's Roma is the kind of team that one day plays very well and wins with 4 goals, the next day they play very badly and suffer 4 goals.
It is in a good ranking position because in the 2020 championship there has not yet been a real dominating team (as Juve generally was previously). He needs to improve a lot because now, especially in the Europa League, with the round of 16, losing a match means leaving the competition and must try to stay in the top 4 in the league to go to the champions league next year.

Hamilton today received the title of "Sir", a knight of the British Empire both for sporting merits (and this was obvious, given the 7th title he won in 2020) and for his fight against racism. Hamilton will be the third Formula 1 driver to have received similar recognition (after Brabham and Stewart in the 1970s).
meanwhile, today 1 January 2021 his contract with mercedes has officially expired
98  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 31, 2020, 02:44:11 AM

Milan is by far my candidate for the championship this year. I think Juventus has a bad course despite ronaldo. Let's see what happens at the end of the year.

Agreed with you Juventus is playing totally different and making disappoint his fans with recent game style even it becoming hard for them to make comeback but they are still in the game. At the moment AC Milan is showing mind blowing performance but more important how consistent they will in future to keep on the right track to win the title of the season.

as I have already said in the past, as a Milan fan, I don't think Milan can win the Scudetto without buying at least 2-3 good players in the January transfer market and for now the Rossoneri management does not seem willing to spend money.
I believe that inter, juve and napoli will recover a lot of points, but at least the championship this year is more exciting
99  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: December 31, 2020, 02:40:38 AM
The length of the free practice from 2021 will change from 2 sessions of 90 minutes each to 2 sessions of 60 minutes, this changed was planned from 2022 but it will be effective since next year too.

They are reducing cost everywhere, to me this is even a nice change it means more cars in the track at the same time, often in the Fridays we have moments with no car in the track and this is a good step in increasing the amount of yearly, GP..

More GP less and less free practice, a good change for us.

this afternoon I was reading the news on autosprint. I don't understand why they say they did it to reduce costs, now they are running, what changes them to do 30 minutes more, they will consume some tires and a few liters of fuel
Autosprint, however, pointed out that the public who buys the ticket to attend the Friday rehearsals must have a reduction in the cost

Donnarumma's problem is his agent, Raiola, who is Italian knows him well, his only purpose is to sell players to earn the commission, even if Milan have the favorable clause, Raiola knows how to create problems
Yeah, That's is Raiola, even I'm not Italian. He can makes players who don't want to leave the clubs, but in the end the player can leave.

as unfortunately I said yesterday, the problem is the agent Raiola.
Milan offered a contract to Donnarumma with an annual salary of 7 million and Raiola did not accept, saying that Juventus and Inter offered a higher figure. I honestly don't believe it, Juve already has an excellent goalkeeper, Donnarumma would only be on the bench.

like last time, Milan made a mistake, they had to sell it before the contract expired, otherwise now they risk seeing him leave at no cost
