I would like to mine UTC to support this money. How many Hs / VGA-7950?

Found this:

"Quote from: Protagonus on March 10, 2014, 09:57:55 PM
In the end it's not that CPU's hash way faster than GPU's at high N's; specifically, it's that CPU's cost less Watts per Kh/s to mine at higher N's.

Some examples of hash rates and setups with CPU's and GPUs @ N = 14;  can be seen here - http://yacoinwiki.tk/index.php/Mining_Hardware_Comparison

You can see, as an example here @ N14

2x E5645 Procesors    2x 80W --   1.53Kh/s
7950 GPU                  (250w)    1.3-1.5 Kh/s"

You are right, too long time. i just hope that Alenevaa is allright.
Iam solo mining also.

[/quote]

Look page 227. When I write this msg there it have been this situation many many days and still continuing.

This situation have been nearly 2 moths and no one have heard nyt thing from pool admin "Alenevaa".

It is true that previously he have repaired all problems but... now really long time and no any sign about him.

I do not mine there anymore any second due to total lack of trust that it never come repaired and without any signal from mr Alenevaa. If it some day come repaired and mined coins sent to miners then perhaps. But until some real things happen I do not want loose time and electric just out from window for nothing.

Solo mining and stacking.

Look page 232
 Wink
Anyone mine using the yacoin pool? I have been mining for almost 2 weeks now and my miner shows shares accepted, but there's 0 earnings in my pool account.

The pool homepage also says they are dealing with problems on the back-end but those haven't been fixed yet. Anyone have any thoughts?
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Ultracoin] [Est. Feb 2014] ~ ASIC Resistant & Ultrafast 6 Second Transactions! on: November 23, 2017, 05:15:04 PM
Rpbarreto if you want to make pool, just do it.
Two pools are better than one.

Thanks!

Valpe

I was thinking about start making a test pool for some time and learn how to use it and fix it so I could make one for UTC, in my opinion this could help us.
But at the same time I wonder if that isn't going to affect Aleneeva in a bad way and I wasn't sure if that was fair, since he done so much for the community.
One thing that I thought was to set a fee at the same as utc.yacoinclub or even a little higher, 3%, that could be better since it would provide a some competition(Aleneeva pool would have a lower fee and someone with experience on running a utc pool, but a busy person, and the other pool would have higher fee but have one or more people that have more time to fix it, but maybe lower experience or even being beginners on running a pool), but still I'm not sure that is fair either.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Ultracoin] [Est. Feb 2014] ~ ASIC Resistant & Ultrafast 6 Second Transactions! on: November 22, 2017, 01:19:01 PM
And what are you meaning?

Alenevaa has always fixed the pool as soon as he can. This is not the first time that he is gone for long time. He likes to travel and he can do so. If you don't like... mine something else and buy UTC.
Idon't like that the pool is not working. In the pool I have + 20 000 UTC.

I am now solo mining and supporting block chain in that way. Getting some UTC but not so much than on the pool.

UTC should be thanking Alenevaa, without him UTC would be gone for a long time a ago.

"Traveling on the pool miners income"... Hah with those UTC you will not get so far.

Time has pass and we should soon think plan to get other pool.

Usukan? Maybe we need to set up pool before next big step?

Valpe

edit - I just hope that Aleneeva is alright and doing well.

Hi QXW

This coin is not somehow alive. This coin is alive, thanks to community,  pool owner Alenevaa and Usukan.

Could be better if pool could run without problems. Alenevaa will fix pool as soon as he can.
If you wanna or someone else want to set up pool, you are welcome.

I don't except any explanations from Alenevaa. He is doing great job.

If you don't trust these "big words", what are you doing here? There is plenty of coin to choose and mine.

Hmmmm ... Fixing ASAP for a month..? Or traveling on the pool miners income?

Hello Calvin

Nice amount of UTC indeed.

Is it safe to keep so much in market place... no.
Maybe it is better to move your coins to your wallet and stake them.

It could be very bad timing to sell your UTC now.
Look what Usukan has wroted.

Valpe

Hey UTC community,

I've got a little problem. I have held 3,105,786.51337243 UTC for quite a while now. I will hold them forever, but I just wanted to see if there was anyone that was interested in buying them OTC or something. They have been sitting on the cryptopia exchange for months and months, but there is never enough volume to really trade them. Any advise? I would be willing to sell them at a discount of market prices in pretty good chunks.

Thanks,
Calvin

sorry cannot help with amd gpu, but it might help if you tell us what amd gpu you have.
If you have nvidia use ccminer or cudaminer for older nvidia.

Anyone has gpu miner and example of .bat. I have tried yacminer but it crashed every time

Hi

Staking is working.  I have one of my wallet double weight and it's says 30 s but that is not accurate.

Here  http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/UTC/index.php you can see that staking is working.
You will get yours when is your time.

At this time restart  pc and reopen wallet.

Hello UTC followers.
Why my wallet isn't staking.

Three days opened and unlocked, still nothing.

92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Ultracoin] [Est. Feb 2014] ~ ASIC Resistant & Ultrafast 6 Second Transactions! on: November 07, 2017, 11:35:20 AM
Hi Asta

Welcome

Use ccminer with nvidia. If you have older card use cudaminer.
Idont know what you need for mining with new amd cards. But if you have older amd use yacminer.

All miner with scrypt-jane support should work.
You can mine on the pool without UTC wallet. So no need to wait.

Happy mining

Valpe

Hello asta.

This is the pool: http://utc14.yacoin.club/index.php - there's also some help with setting up miners. I'm using GTX1060 GPU and these are my settings: ccminer-x64.exe --algo=scrypt-jane:14 -L 4 -l auto -o stratum+tcp://utc.yacoin.club:3413 -u worker -p password

You can download newest ccminer from here: https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer/releases I'm currently using ccminer-x64-2.2.2-cuda9 on Windows 10 64 bit but if you mine using AMD GPUs I cannot help you.
And yes wallet takes a lot of time to sync, be patient Smiley

Thanks primouno for the help. So I can start mining even the wallet haven't fully sync up right. Can I mine with xmr-stack miner for AMD gpu and Nvidia gpu or it's just limited to ccminer?
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Ultracoin] [Est. Feb 2014] ~ ASIC Resistant & Ultrafast 6 Second Transactions! on: November 04, 2017, 02:10:51 PM

It should be safe mine in the pool. Coins dont show up now but when Alenevaa fix the pool, payouts will work and all mined coins will show up.

Hi Primouno

It's pool problem.
Usukan do you know whats is Aleneeva's situation?

Valpe

I'm getting 20 KHs with 1080ti, so your result seems OK. Which miner are you using? In other algorythms 1080ti is more than twice stronger than 1060.

It's not quite profitable to mine UTC directly. I mine ZCash, convert to BTC and buy UTC.
I use ccminer-x64-2.2.2-cuda9 which Valpe mentioned a few pages back. Yesterday I was mining for two hours UTC in our pool but I don't have any ultracoins in my account. Is it problem with the pool or it was too short to earn something?
Thanks for the info. I thought there was problem only with payouts. We have to wait for Aleneeva

Did you mean these tokens?

Usukan wrote not so long time ago  Cheesy

"UltraCoin WAVES Token

Recently - The UltraCoin Community was issued a token (UltraCoin Asset ID DxG3PLganyNzajHGzvWLjc4P3T2CpkBGxY4J9eJAAUPw) on the WAVES platform by members of the WAVES Community as a promotion and demonstration of the synergies possible between different Cryptocurrencies.  This token was distributed to UltraCoin Community members based on current UltraCoin holdings and support for UltraCoin irrespective of their current UltraCoin holdings - on a voluntary basis.  This was not an official UltraCoin project but it now presents UltraCoin with some new opportunities.

First - we can consider the UltraCoin WAVES token as an ''extension" of Ultracoin itself.  The UltraCoin Token will be tradeable on the WAVES decentralised exchange (DEX) in the future and convertible to BTC, other cryptos/assets/tokens and convertible to FIAT currencies through WAVES gateways.

- WAVES has provided wallets in Win/Apple/iOS/Android for this token - allowing the UltraCoin Community members a wide range of use and development options.

The UltraCoin WAVES token can be stored on the WAVES Lite Client - available here.  https://wavesplatform.com

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/wavesliteapp/kfmcaklajknfekomaflnhkjjkcjabogm

Android - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wavesplatform.wallet

Github - https://github.com/wavesplatform/WavesGUI/releases

The UltraCoin WAVES tokens are now traded DIRECTLY on the WAVES DEX (decentralised) exchange against many other digital currencies including BTC WAVES etc - trading is done directly from your own WAVES wallet.  Its a very impressive technology.

- The Waves platform will also release "multigateway'' templates in Scala allowing direct conversions of UTC to UTC Tokens - and back to UTC - further adding seamless utility to this UltraCoin extension provided by the token.
- The UltraCoin WAVES token may also be listed on Cryptopia allowing many, simple and diverse trading opportunities in the near future.

The WAVES issuer of these tokens (Team @Cripto) will also issue Tokens as REWARDS to any UltraCoin Community Member who contributes to the UltraCoin Development Fund.  They have stated that they will issue rewards at the rate of 1,000,000 UltraCoin tokens minimum per 1 BTC contribution until the reserve runs out - and this system has already been used by one member.  (Contact usukan or Rapture333 if you wish to make any contributions).

Further to this Team @Cripto has made a generous gift of UltraCoin WAVES tokens to the Official UltraCoin WAVES wallet to fund future development of UltraCoin.  Additionally two community members have also made very significant contributions to this same fund.  In the future we hope to be able to use this fund for specific UltraCoin development projects.

This is an experiment in the making using cutting edge crypto functionalities - we have no idea how it will evolve - but follow the progress - only on UltraCoin.
No other Crypto currency currently has a token like this - as an extension on another blockchain."

On which exchanges will tokens be traded?

Change -L value, probably need different value than 1080.  If you have both cards on same rig, add -d 0,1,2,3,4,5 (6 card on same rig) with -L 4,2,2,2,2,2.
Idont have any P106-100.

Valpe

edit You could add also -D value, then you can see what is happening when performing auto tuning. Take the best value and replace auto with it.

Did anyone try to mine with nVidia P106-100 cards? They just get stuck at this, and won't submit any shares.

Gpu load is at 100%, but pool doesn't recognize they are working.

Hi Air Jordan, could you please describe what miner you are using and the config file? i don't mine with nvidia but maybe that helps anyone thats going to help you

I am using miner and bat file as per this Valpe's post:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=727023.msg23557222#msg23557222

1080ti works fine, but P106-100 doesn't.

Hi

Not linear. 1030 works well with UTC.  or
I don't have find right settings/miner.

Valpe

Hi Valpe, since you mine with nvidia gpus can you answer me something if you know?

What is the hashrate and power draw of a 1070?
and does all pascal gpus hashrate/power draw number scales in a linear manner in utc? e.g. a 30w gpu has 5kh/s and a 300w gpu has 50khs/s

Hi Coinmagnet

Welcome

Download latest ccminer from https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer/releases . Try both 64 and 32 version.

ccminer-x64.exe --algo=scrypt-jane:14 -L 4 -l auto -o stratum+tcp://utc14.yacoin.club:3413 -u worker -p password

Try different L values

Happy mining

Valpe

Thanks for the help.

I've got a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 ASUS STRIX RGB 8GB. So If anyone has configuration tips for that, let me know, thanks!

Thanks, you updated you thoughts. Seems like you at first you don't " trust, believe" and now you trust and believe. Nice.

Feedbacks are inportant, you are right. Negative though and feedback can given different ways. Maybe yours first try was not so good... .  "(time it looks like....<censored>)" Not so good way if you are feeling to need of censoring by yourself.

But hey all good. As you can see my english is not so good. So again good that you updated your thoughts.

Mhh, how it was, pow and pos both great new blocks,  http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/UTC/index.php

You could try addnodes. Try these : http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/UTC/nodes.php

Welcome and happy mining  Smiley

[/quote]

I am here because I still want believe UTC. Also continuously mining (solo).

I think both feedbacks are important, both negative and positive. Normal healthy communities also tolerate negative censure.

What can I do for get more connections for wallet. It stay continuously around 1 to 4.
I'm not yet absolutely sure but here it looks like I can not get all new blocks for work. Example one hour was so that wallet show over 70 confirmations for founded  block but at exactly same time period  my cgminer get only around 30 new blocks for work.

My opinion is that it is better if pool (@Alenevaa) give some updated message what tell to peoples  example what is estimated time for repair or even some update about how things go forward. It is not big work to write three -five words to front side. Personally I trust and know Alenevaa and he have always solved things but here I mean also some possible vistors who perhaps first time is looking anything about UTC.  I have been years with UTC I do not have problem. Problem is how new peoples look things and how they trust or stay iterested.

Then one small tiny examples (there is lot more, nearly like total mess), in this thread 1st msg:

Mined block confirmation: 50
Wrong.
It is 70.

and so on...

When we meet new people first 15 seconds is: go -- no go.
When we meet new coin first 15 seconds is also perhaps  go -- no go. And this first image what new people made in his mind when he meet UTC here or there is really poor at this time. Insiders are perhaps "home blind". Look this with this people eyes what never before have heard about UTC.

But, so or so personally I will stay with UTC as long as it is breathing.
