Do you think in the past year and a half (since ATH), has there been a quiet redistribution of bitcoins?
Redistribution? Not really. I can't see a major flow of bitcoin from large holders to small users. Early miners who holds thousands of bitcoins aren't really selling. May be a few to buy things and gamble a bit. Some have sold all their holdings and exited the scene, I believe they are a minority. New bitcoin users are buying and gathering small amounts, that's tiny amounts compared to the large holders. Large holders still have lots and newbies still have too few. Do you think major players are quietly accumulating right now?
I would think so. I base my optimism on the diversity of investors from the bitcoin auctions. Major players are certainly interested and there are MANY of them. Most of these investors aren't buying from exchanges, it's too slow. There are 3600 bitcoin minted everyday by miners. I believe a large portion of these minted coins are sold to these low-profile players. the distribution of the base of the people who are accumulating Bitcoin is becoming much much broader This is Bulls and a diversified base of new buyers coming in.

It is not possible that one country adopt bitcoin as its currency. With bitcoin it is not possible to do monetary policies and without that politics it is very hard to govern. ...
It is possible. There are many countries that do not have their own currency. No country will adopt bitcoin as its country, since its government cant control it and cant get something useful for them. The government is just a group of politician, not bitcoin enthusiast. but what if , it is adopted from the citizens of that country, and they say basically fuck you government? surely their GOV can not stop them if they decide to move in this way it's not like we are living in dictatorial regime In theory, sure. A country can generally implement whatever internal economic policy they want, including specifying the official currency or even two currencies.

Loaning is not a good option IMHO. default rates are pretty high and you could lose money, Furthermore the volume is very small to make a good profit

getting scammed by ponzi - while i was supposed to have my first payout and they collapsed. in fact, i shouldn't invest unless they have enough data in which proves they aren't scamming.
This is not specific to Bitcoin. It ultimately boils down to "How much should attempt Bitcoin to protect people from themselves?".

I think all financial institutions are going to need a cryptocurrency in order to eliminate inefficiency. They'll need it to just to be able to compete in the market.

I am thinking this is the beginning of accumulation leading into the next halving... as the supply runs dry we will begin to see the price become temporarily parabolic again.

if you want to follow a day-trading type pattern, you can try and ride the high and lows for quick profit; however, this is obviously risky.

Gambling btc in my opinion should be something you do on the side for fun. It shouldn't be something you should try to invest in multiple times to make profit.

I think people are boring, wealth brings options that's all.
What many people do when they have money is do the same thing as before just a more expensive version of it....money is wasted on people like that and they often find themselves just as unhappy with it.
This is the best answer. Some people is just unhappy no matter how much money they have. If you are rich and you are bored, then is your fault, not money's. yes depends on how you handle wealth Rich people also commit suicide a lot. Your happiness depends on your attitude towards it.

If you're willing to risk it considering your can sustain yourself through other sources of income , it may be worthwhile, but as someone already mentioned, by 2020, you can either become a millionaire

Warren Buffet doesn't get technology nor does he invest in technology companies. I would be very surprised if he even handles his own emails.

education and understanding (i.e. people don't care, they are too busy for this). But really it is still too complex for most people to bother with Bitcon

I have no plans to sell anytime soon, I'm fairly certain this is only the beginning. Sure there will be ups and downs but in the end I would be very surprised if the price didn't reach several thousand USD per coin or more.

Some people might argue however that price stability is a prerequisite for a flourishing economy. I'm not saying that I agree with that position, but it's something to consider.

This is interesting. If you can get a lot of income on BTC you can retire early and enjoy life early. Just invest what do you think you can afford to lose since nothing is sure in the future.
