Yes the room temperature might be an issue but i can only complain on it, not solve it.
Changing the location is the second option if changing the fans will have no effect. But in the beginning changing fans is cheaper because changing location means:
- Time for searching a legit mining hoster
- Make a new hosting contract
- Cancel the old hosting contract
- Disconnect the rig (no mining during this time)
- Pay for Dissasemble, Pack the rig and shipping costs
- Wait for shipping to the new location
- Maybe some installation problems
- Mine again
suck the cold air in with the fans
cold air > fans > cards >
do you have a true cold isle in the farm?
you may need a rack of fans on the front where the gpu slots open in the case.
cold air > fans > cards > rack of new fans.
you got the most powerful fans around 7500 rpm and 280 cfm
I think you will be okay.
downclocking 5700 cards is a good solution I can drop them 20 watts easy and lose very little hash
If I guessed it correct the cold air in this container is delivered trough the walls and the hot air is in the middle of the container. But i´m not sure. Its very hard to communicate with them.
Do you think I can use the "old" four fans and install them with cable ties in front of the GPU panels?
My RX5700 are downvolted with Bios Mod and unfortunately Samsung Memory. Normally running between 98 to 110W @ ~55Mh/s Ethash. Hole Rig is without power limit @ 666Mh/s and consuming ~1500W out of the wall. With Micron Memory the cards would reach 60Mh/s.
You might want to look into cases with isolated hot/cold airflows. That helps a lot. I doubt you'll find them on Aliexpress though.
What does it mean? Isolated hot/cold airflow?
