Yes there are many catch-22 issues with announcements. Even this one had a couple hiccups which we fixed. The client defaults to TOR. There is currently no option to turn this off. Reason being:
The Razor network communicates via the Tor network natively, forever separating you from your transactions making for the first truly anonymous network.

We do have many new things in store along with improving the functionality of the anon system. The team decided to currently not give announcements of announcements to keep the market stable. If plans change, we do not want people waiting on a feature for months.

Keeping RZR in TOR means we took an extra level of security and anonymity and built it into the core system. Exposing your IP and what happens is in every other coin. Your ISP and every node you touch knows just what happened. TOR changes the game.

What did you name the conf file?  It should be named Razor.conf   There is now an example in the original post.  Remember you must close out of the wallet and reopen it after the .conf file has been placed to see the changes.   

nodes should all be fine, we just had it paused while updating the wallet for the networking fix.

If you have already installed the Razor wallet you must save your wallet.dat file and delete your data directory to continue to use the application.

* Open Windows Explorer

   C:\Users\(your username)\AppData\Roaming\Razor

* Copy the wallet.dat file to "My Documents"
 
Step 4
* Using Windows Explorer, delete this folder and all of its contents
   C:\Users\(your username)\AppData\Roaming\Razor
 
Step 5
* Uninstall the Razor wallet
 
Step 6
* Using the new installation package, reinstall the Razor wallet
 
Step 7
* Open the Razor wallet
 
Step 8
* Close the Razor wallet
 
Step 9
* Using Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\Users\(your username)\AppData\Roaming\Razor
 
Step 10
* Copy the "wallet.dat" file from "My Documents" to C:\Users\(your username)\AppData\Roaming\Razor
   When asked if you want to overwrite the file, say "Yes"

* Re-open the wallet and your balance should appear

* Open a Terminal window

* type "cp ~/.razor/wallet.dat ~/." and hit enter

Blocks frozen at 1220 I believe since yesterday's networking issue.

No fork, but you will have to save the wallet.dat, remove old version, install and run new version, stop, move wallet.dat back, and restart.
Not many blocks were hit and this data is preserved for those that came out solo mining.

The network is having a strange issue when we tried to launch before the weekend on the worst (you feelin lucky) type of day. I don't believe in that stuff, but it's been a wild night so far. Currently we are working towards a fix and will update on what happened and if we need to fork/relaunch to get this settled. Even some of the more popular coins struggle to work out the kinks, and this is no different while trying to take advantage of the latest technology.
