81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Zcash = Bahamas? on: February 17, 2016, 04:44:02 PM
Hello,
I was just reading this article
Code:
https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/new-digital-currency-zcash-promises-total-anonymity-and-privacy-1455720144

So basically this is a new way for rich people to hide their unwanted transactions...for example bribe. Companies, politics etc...

Because why would you need privacy? Now with fiat and banking youdo not have it. And its hard to bribe someone.

Maybe you guys know why it would be good to have your transations private Smiley

Ps:  your wife will still find out youre cheating Wink
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain vs Bitcoin on: February 02, 2016, 10:02:49 PM
I think you're missing the point of blockchain technology. It might be used for purposes that go way beyond the current limitations in bitcoin. Private corporations are interested in using this technology for several applications, not only storing and transferring money.

Exactly, and bitcoin is currently controlled by a few groups of huge miners and enchanges, so it does not provide complete freedom of innovation to those researching blockchain-related technologies.

So someone should change that and not let fiat system happen again. I know they are using blockchain for other applications as well but still what about bitcoin? Should we just throw it out? NO! It needs to be fixed and it needs to be the way it was meant to be. We need this money system not other applications as of now
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Blockchain vs Bitcoin on: February 02, 2016, 01:19:38 PM
Hello,
I'm bit confused about why companies keep focusing on blockchain technology and not really on Bitcoin.

I see people loosing hope on bitcoin and saying something new will come and blah blah blah. And thats the mistake i think. We all as 1 community need to fight for it and make bitcoin what we want.

Banks, companies and organizations focused on blockchain. I understand that blockchain is important to Bitcoin but in my opinion they are just trying to find a way  to centrelize it and make money and have total control. Just like banks.

Why arent there funds and investments into bitcoin?

Just stating my opinion, im open to corrections and more knowledge Wink

Looks like another Ponzi/HYIP/SCAM to me.

Don't fall for looks OP, themes are available for cheap. But always ask yourself, how will this site provide so much return?

Also, if you do a quick research, you'll learn things like this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1334752.0

And they're already listed on the bad list: http://www.badbitcoin.org/thebadlist/index.htm

I didnt fall for it and never will. I dont believe any of these websites.

Thank you for the links I didnt know about the badbitcoin site Smiley

90  Economy / Speculation / My predictions and hopes for Bitcoin in far future on: December 30, 2015, 12:10:25 AM
Hello,
I have a thought about Bitcoin price/future and I would like to know what you all think about it.

According to google there is about 75 trillion (in USD) in the world. Lets say There is 100 trillion...(just for the calculations)...maybe its even more

and it is set there there will be 21 million Bitcoins

and population of the world is 7.125 billion

So my idea and calculations go like this... lets say one day when our gran-gran-gran children live on this planet and bitcoin is the only money in the world...

Now - 100 trillion / 7.125 = 14035 dollars per person (of course on average)

Then - 21 million / 7.125(possibly will increase or decrease) = 0.002947... BTC

That said if I save 1BTC for my gran-gran-gran children they will be (rich)/ I know they will be taken care of Smiley

I know those are big hopes but we all believe in this great revolution and as technology advances why not get rid of the paper and just use electronic money like Bitcoin.

Please let me know what you think Wink
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why even use BitCoins? (read the post!) on: December 22, 2015, 05:07:06 AM
ITS ABOUT THE ECONOMY WHICH IS FAILING IN THE FIAT AREA AND THE POWER OF PEOPLE TO CREATE SOMETHING REVOLUTIONARY!!!

Now you put some effort and "waste time" like you say but one day ill buy some fiat from you so i can whipe my butt Wink

I think this question you have is very pointless...you can ask the same thing about many thing

Why go in the bank if there is drive trough
Why build shops if EVERYTHING is online
Even you writting your post is waste of time so why did you do it?

Its more knowledge and believing in something and best part is when more and more people believe in the same in the good Smiley

Hello Everyone,

Ok so little bit back I wanted to create a project that will help Bitcoin and  poor/sick people. I did not get to it because I want to make this perfect. Im doing this as a hobby and a dream so I dont want any profit(any...not even pay for hosting or my salary) I or the team(no team yet) simply get no money. I think I have this excellent domain and I want to ask you if you have ideas how to use it to help Bitcoin and People or if you want to work on something together Smiley And  I dont want to simple create charity and than donate the money to a big organization that takes a cut... Wink
