Excuse my newbishness, but what does being a "top level NASDAQ exec" mean? Does he have power to influence the ETF approval? Seems pretty bullish, but I don't really know what to make of it.

Why would anyone be "excited" about this ETF when Bitcoin has dropped over 50% of it's value since the beginning of the year? Now if it becomes available around the same time that we break this losing streak, then things could get crazy quick, but right now it wouldn't be looking like a very good investment to anyone IMHO.

When they come with it, the big boys will buy a lot first of all. And there is no regulation now so they can do that. And people from the nasdaq will do it either. Look on google and type bitcoin 3200euro on bitcointalk. They are not stupid and before the good news comes they will buy a lot. And nasdaq will not ban this, because David Lavalle said allready about Bitcoin to Nasdaq, ''It's a win-win situation". So what you think if the Vice-President of Nasdaq say this in a interview?

Is it possible for bitcoin price to trade below 400?
It's obviously possible to trade as low as BTC production price is reached, currently well below US$300. Nobody will sell them bellow what it costs to mine them. Except that limit, everything else depends on the demand. If we hit that price watch for datacenter movement to locations with extremely cool climate and dirt cheap electricity. Miners will sell at whatever price they can get, if they have bills to pay. A small loss is better than a big loss, and a big loss is better than a huge loss. If prices drop below production costs, miners will shut down and the hashrate will decrease until production costs get low enough. That's true! But you think the Bitcoin price will stay below 300$ or 250$ for one month. Even when that happens it will increase again. I keep them in my pocket, because there is a lot of votality on the price on this moment. And everybody is waiting for Nasdaq. |

Still not fixed?
24 blocks to go before we reach the 16300 count. Fix is there. How much longer do you guys reckon until we pull through these blocks? at current rate of what looks like about 10 blockers a day, maybe just over 2 days. If you have any hash you can throw at this coin, now is the time to help out. I have my little miners going, if everyone mucks in, the quicker the blocks will get found ( still need some luck though lol ) i don't have miners for this coin. i took one from rentalrigs, but i have enough ltcd |

Heel vreemd allemaal, maar laten we het hopen dat het naar de nasdaq gaat, zitten we allemaal goed. En ik twijfel er niet meer aan, want dit kan geen typefout in het systeem zijn etc. Er is iets vreemds gebeurd!

Total Voters: 112 Not many times I've seen poll results accepting a downfall..! almost 67% of feels that btc might trade below 400. Wait and watch if that happens. Usually the opposite happens. Markets often move in the opposite direction of what most market participants expect. Is it possible for bitcoin price to trade below 400? Why it should not be possible? 0,10$ is possible same as 100,000$ is possible. Stupid poll, or is it that I understand it wrong? Below 400$ is possible maybe 390$, but it will go up again. And it's maybe few hours or day that it will stand on 390$. But in the future the price will increase after the good news on the end of the year, when Coin go to Nasdaq. |

Ik was op dat moment toevallig online op BTC-e.
Het verhaal wat in de trollbox rondging was dat er een bot loco was gegaan.
Daarop borduurde men voort dat er nu een Europeaan was die al z'n spaargeld was kwijtgeraakt en depressief was geworden.
Maar goed, de trollbox. Wat moet je daar überhaupt ooit serieus nemen?
De sec heeft het verlengd met eem aantal maanden, dat is voor het eerst en het is wel heel erg stil ondanks alle opositieve nieuwsberichten. En het kan haast niet anders dat het naar de nasdaq gaat. Ik twijfel er niet aan hoor |
