@rojan -- I don't understand. You give your UNO send-to address to these folks, so how do they send silver bullion to you with that address??? PS. Are you Turkish? I have several friends there (Turks, not Americans or Europeans) that I'm friends with, one that I'm close to. They aren't into Crypto -- yet. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

I sent V500 a few PM's, no reply. Last I heard, he was bummed about sub-0.01.
No sense in being bummed out about any current price. If a Wolong or a Wolong II takes the price up to .1 BTC then dumps it and the price drops to .001 BTC, do we really care? That stuff only matters if one is looking for a quick buck. And I really don't think there's anything wrong with a quick buck, let 'em make it. That's just the day-trading mentality. I think most of us here are in it for the long term. Like years down the road. Do we really care about the daily, weekly or even monthly charts? Plus, when it gets dumped down to something super cheap, what better time to pick up lots of super cheap UNO and buy more, then hodl and coddle until the Big-O and beyond...

guys, i am around btctalk and the same people on all the good coins. All the uno people in all the coins that are candidates for longterm surviving or success. It's quite interesting. People in Uno have some taste for good altcoins that's for sure.
What in your opinion are these other good altcoins?

I third or forth or fifth -- whatever it is -- Blazr2!
UNO blows everything away!

Sorry, BW stays until -- and should -- he prove unworthy.
I haven't seen any indication of such unworthiness, despite all the whining, moaning and gnashing of teeth.
Now y'all go back and play in your sandboxes. And leave us alone with our UNO.
And keep on BW! :-) Really.

OP needs update. Current blockreward is not 0.065, it is 0.03125 uno per block
Thanks! Updated. Unobtanium Reward = 0.03125 per 3 min. Reward = 0.01041 per 1 min. Reward = 15 per day Reward = about 450 per month of new UNOs @ 0.00777777 UNO needs about 3.6 BTC of new investment per month ($1500/month) *something makes me think that the new investors and old investors are willing to invest more than 0.11 btc/dayLooking at the other large cap coins BTC in new investment needed per month at current priceDark > 230 Feathercoin > 245 bitmark > 316 Namecoin > 522 Peercoin > 741 DogeCoin > 850 LTC > 8784 And bitcoin ... $38,430,000 of new investment is needed just to equalize the coin inflation. One of the best posts ever. +2

miningpool.co -- that I had been happily using for some time now -- seems to have gone completely AWOL over the last two days.
Any good pool recommendations?
At first I was using uno.coin-pool.org. It seemed pretty decent, except for one glaring flaw: if I kept the stats page open for a while, it would crash my Windows 7 system. Not just the browser, my entire system -- hard reboot-city! Never seen anything like it before. Happened four or five times, so I moved on. Tried the .uk one for oh a week or so, then IT went AWOL!
Which pools are Un miners here using now?

Just noticed something interesting. Remember uRAN and how it disappeared off the rich list? Then there was ucUN at the top, with fewer UNOs than uRAN had had. Well today the word "Cryptsy" popped up right next to "ucUN...".

his involvement to be as controversal as possible on twitter is far greater than his involvement with this coin from what i can see.
His tweet that he would ONLY continue to be involved with UNO and XDQ (his own coin) is, IMO, huge. It could possibly bring a much needed new spotlight to shine on UNO. We should see soon.

Trying to get the big picture here, I've seen this info summarized before, but I can't seem to find it at the moment... Approximately how many coins are being minted per day now? (I seem to recall 16, but not sure.) The main unobtaium.uno page says: Unobtanium distribution has two stages. Roughly 190,000 units will be distributed during the first 6 block halvings. The remaining 60,000 units are for long-term mining support.
Since that page also currently shows the number of mined coins as 191,970.72, I assume we are now in that "remaining 60,000 unit" phase that I think I understand will last for some 300 years. Are there going to more block halvings in this period? If so, how many, and when is the next one? Will the number of coins per day being minted also be cut in half at that time from what they currently are? Blazr posted a table of the rewards structure way back in this thread. Hope that answers your questions. Hmm, not sure how to read that spreadsheet screenshot. What are columns B and C? And how does it tell me how many coins are being approximately created today and when the next halving is expected to happen (roughly)? Sorry, I'm pretty new to this stuff. Bought my first BTC Feb. 26th this year and my first UNO July 22nd.

@ FK: ever run long distance? (I did . . . just wasn't any good . . . ) The pack thunders across the starting-line; everyone squanders energy in the first mile or two; then The Many begin to drop behind the knot of front-runners. We are in the knot, and just gotta doggedly maintain our pace.
A thought. We could be the perpetual tortoise against a slew of hares. We could also get a couple of big boys to take notice of who we are and how way different we are. That could easily provide us with the Maserati to sail past the hares with the tortoise inside grinning out the window like a Cheshire Cat. Just thinkin' out loud...

Nice feedback! I'd have bet that the average age here is higher.
Highway 61 is Dylan, isn't it?
Yes. I am 54 but have packed a superxtramega lot of adventures in.
LOL. Sometimes I feel like a horse that's been rode hard and put up wet.

I would like my phone to be really useful. Like if i am hiking, being able to take a picture of anything, search the web based on that photo to find out what it is and the information about it. Was the spider that just bit me a brown recluse? Sci-fi like shit really, scanning something and being able to know everything about it. Like what the amazon fire phone does for media items, but with everything in life. I think we are getting close to this. This would then be incorporated into wearable tech, like google glasses or some crap, and bam. We are all now androids. The future is awesome.
Google Goggles, when it first came out, hinted that it would eventually be able to do things like this. Like "Hmm, wonder this tree is. Let me just take a picture of a leaf on it and Goggles will just tell me." While Google would certainly be capable of this kind of thing, I have not, however, been aware of them putting effort into this aspect of Goggles. It certainly would be nice to know immediately if it was a brown recluse that had bitten you! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

I am always wondering the age of people involved in crypto. I like to think you are able to paint a decent picture of individuals age based on the phrases they use and what not. We all know Imz is grandpa imz on here lol ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I poke in fun! So since I am curious by nature, and wouldn't expect people to pony up info about them selves that i am unwilling to divulge, i am 28. Since i showed you mine, wanna show me yours I'm out on Highway 61.

Hey guys, was merge mining ever decided upon for UNO?
Yes, it is still in the initial stages though, I will push some commits to BW's 'Official' Github once we have some stability. On another note, THANK YOU to the Un community for the gracious Un-Birthday present! We are flattered and very very thankful! This community is an amazing group, and a definite difference from nearly every other crypto-coin following. Un is special because of ALL OF YOU! Thank YOU. We wouldn't be here if not for your effort in this.

Hey guys, was merge mining ever decided upon for UNO?
Judging from what I'm reading here, we need to merge-mine UNO with EMU.

We have a mascot! Here is Eric the Emu, in 2012, with Alpha Chick (Omega is there too): Meet EricWell, Eric just turned up with Winter's clutch; but it's just one chick. So . . . his name shall be 'Uno.' You've got some crazy-assed pictures there! Any T-Rexes or other kind of raptors hanging out around there too? Is this the beginning of "IMZ Park", the sequel to "Jurassic Park"? A toast to Eric's baby Uno!
