81  Economy / Goods / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP FINAL TICKETS FOR SALE on: June 07, 2014, 10:51:18 PM
There's so many counterfeit tickets out there, how can someone know for sure these are real? I would be very careful buying anything like this online.

Yeah this would be such tough purchase to verify the legitimacy of the tickets. Can you imagine traveling to Brazil and partying all the way up until the game, only to be denied entrance at the door? That would be horrible

Exactly my thoughts. Tickets are so easily counterfeited. If there is an option for "will-call" where you pick up the tickets directly from the official agency once you arrive, that would really be the safest way. Not sure if that would work for the World Cup though.

Is there any advantage to doing a localbitcoins deal face to face? Wouldn't it be easier for the buying party to just go do a cash deposit in your bank account and you send the BTC through the localbitcoins escrow? Don't have to leave the house and no chance for any funny business.

Any chance of making some in different wood finishes/stains? Smiley

Hi, thank you!  How do you see them differently with wood finishing stains? We can think about it

Maybe a cherry or a mahogany color? But not sure how that would affect the QR code or readability...

Maybe try buying some BTC on the #bitcoin-OTC IRC channel on Freenode. A lot of people buy/sell there daily and may have better rates than some localbitcoins person.

Just a thought. Good luck!

Wow this is an awesome thread.

I personally own two rigs (with 3 280x GPUs each) mining on X11 algorithm.

Have them connected to a PDU that monitors the rigs for uptime and in case it can't connect to them, it will automatically power cycle the unit.

Hi everyone,

I started out using Bitcoin in 2013 and have been enjoying the ride so far. I really think Bitcoin will be changing the world and am more excited about the network and the applications of something as powerful as the blockchain rather than simply the price of the bitcoin currency itself.

I feel that the entire idea of a global, public ledger will help the world become more united and usher in a new era of people feeling as if they are citizens of the planet versus just citizens of a specific country or state.

Thanks for reading. Smiley
