81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have pasted my wallet.dat base64-encoded, crack it and the contents are yours on: September 02, 2011, 01:02:49 AM
The file is just a PNG of some kind of masonic symbol.
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have pasted my wallet.dat base64-encoded, crack it and the contents are yours on: September 02, 2011, 12:56:56 AM
If that file you posted is XOR'd with data from /dev/urandom, I think your /dev/urandom is broken.
83  Other / Off-topic / Re: Real Evidence the Freemasons Troll the Bitcoin Forum from SomethingAweful on: September 01, 2011, 11:45:05 PM
Oh it's just a coincidence that as soon as I suggested people go over there and check on these two freemason fellows previous postings in relation to bitcoin, the forum access get's closed off to non-members. I wonder what will happen next? No conspiracies around here. Nothing to look at. Move along folks.

Oh snap, it's not just non-members.  I can't get into that thread either, and that thread is the only reason I even registered over there. Cheesy  I think someone touched a nerve.
84  Other / Off-topic / Re: Two interesting emails I received today... on: August 31, 2011, 10:44:27 PM
This is sickening me.  I am issuing a challenge to non-trolls in this forum to step up and put some support behind Bruce.  He's not perfect, but he's our de facto spokesperson, and having his name dragged through the mud makes us all look bad.  For the sake of Bitcoins, stand behind Bruce Wagner.

Bruce hasn't done anything wrong.  He's not a scammer, a rapist, a pedophile, or any of that stuff people are accusing him of.  He's doing his best for the community and we should be thanking him.

It is nice that you give him the benefit of the doubt, but perhaps you should read one of the many threads full of very real evidence, showing that Bruce is, in fact, a scammer. He gave a nice attempt at glossing it over, saying that he was overwhelmed and fell behind and then got sued...but then he didn't pony up the money, and fled so it is worth all of nothing.

I will not support someone who cannot stand themselves. He has done nothing but dig himself deeper with his foolish explanations and threats, and now the worm is out of the box. I feel for him, but who tries to become the public face of anything as a scammer/manwhore? You reap what you sow.

You're absolutely right.  A lot of info has come out since I posted that message, and I'm still digesting it all.  Our Bruce is looking dirtier and dirtier as time goes on.

Sure enough, I haven't had any luck getting pregnant since I joined.
86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Everything that was centralized in Bitcoin happened to fail big time. on: August 31, 2011, 10:33:39 PM
This seems like an obvious potential consequence of a free market to me.
It is.  Am I supposed to be offended?

No, not at all.  Your link clears a lot up, thanks.

87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Everything that was centralized in Bitcoin happened to fail big time. on: August 31, 2011, 10:18:18 PM
Centralization can be the result of imposition or free choice.  In any case, it brings with it a loss of resiliency in the event of failure.

Ok, let's accept that, by your definition, if a whole bunch of people choose to put their money in mtgox or mybitcoin of their own free choice, that's a type of "centralization."  (edit: I should add that I don't agree with this definition; I'm just accepting it so we don't get distracted by semantics).  Are you suggesting that this type of centralization is bad and should be prevented somehow?  This seems like an obvious potential consequence of a free market to me.
88  Other / Off-topic / Re: Something Aweful Endorses Ron Paul/ Official Campaign Video on: August 31, 2011, 10:09:38 PM
It's somethingisaweful.  Get it right.

No, we get it wrong on PURPOSE. No need to give them google links. haha

Fiendish.  It's like you're talking in code.  Don't worry, mum's the word.
89  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's with all the haters? on: August 31, 2011, 09:44:33 PM
Yeah, in some situations I could believe that maybe they had great aspirations and wanted to help people get out from under their mortgage debt and simply mismanaged it and the whole thing fell apart, except that one niggling detail: where did all those people's money go?
90  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bruce Wagner and the surrounding drama. on: August 31, 2011, 09:21:00 PM
But people keep calling Bruce a 'convict' in the mortgage case, which just isn't true.  The same way OJ Simpson was never convicted of murder.

lol, great supporters you've got, Bruce.
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Everything that was centralized in Bitcoin happened to fail big time. on: August 31, 2011, 09:15:51 PM
I'm still not sure I understand what in the bitcoin world was "centralized."  People were free to put their money in mybitcoin or not.  Same goes for mtgox.  They had no authority except over people who chose to be their customers.  How is this a "free market" versus "central authority" issue?
92  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bruce Wagner and the surrounding drama. on: August 31, 2011, 08:00:44 PM
Holy shit!  I was just in the irc (freenode, #bitcoin) and bruce came in there and tweeted to prove it was him (here's the tweet), and then the channel op booted his ass out.  Lawl, Bruce can't catch a break.
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Everything that was centralized in Bitcoin happened to fail big time. on: August 31, 2011, 06:32:03 PM
Nice small scale simulation of what happens when you give trust and authority to a handful of people.
And this is nothing compared to real life institutions.

If there is one lesson to learn, it is that centralization of power and capital is the source of all evil.

What was centralized, though?  The only things that I can see that were put in the control of a few people were put there by the free market.  Are you arguing that somehow the free market needs to be prevented from making such bad decisions?
94  Other / Off-topic / Re: A message for the something awful trolls. on: August 31, 2011, 03:48:38 PM
What exactly did I do to deserve this ?
I think it might have been when you started attacking people through twitter in a way that made them think you were Bruce (at the very least vehemently defending him), and then went "lol they think i'm bruce lol."  Now you're issuing vague threats.  Yeah, it's a real wonder you're getting made fun of.
95  Economy / Marketplace / Re: MyBitcoin was probably a scam - and if it was, here's who's responsible on: August 31, 2011, 03:39:27 AM
Well, it is kind of... interesting that the user "bbit" here, who uses a.... posting style that highly resembles Bruce, and who posted here indicating that he was.... part of the OnlyOneTV show, was the person posting press releases on behalf of mybitcoin.  Strange...
96  Other / Off-topic / Re: The story of Bold Funding. on: August 31, 2011, 03:05:39 AM
Thank you, Bruce.  I knew the perfectly reasonable explanation would be forthcoming.  Now, can we get on to the business of the next Bitcoin Expo(s)?  Cheesy
97  Other / Meta / Re: Get Donator status by donating 10 BTC on: August 31, 2011, 02:55:05 AM
A better solution might be a "members with 10+ days logged in" forum.

This is a pretty good idea.  I can easily see myself investing that amount of time in this place.
98  Other / Meta / Re: SomethingAweful Invades Bitcoin Forum... on: August 30, 2011, 11:22:31 PM
They don't belong on this forum they belong where they come from SA.

What about those of us who joined SA after their epic Bitcoin thread started?  Are we ok?
99  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: NEW BitCoin Show In the Works ! on: August 30, 2011, 10:11:18 PM
My crew and I will be making a new Bit Coin Show... Our Studio we are putting together will be based out of NJ. If their is any people within the community who would like to be on our show as a guest or send us videos in regards to your new project you have been working on... It would be greatly appreciated. Please email me at rzuchowski@btcrunner.com . Our format will be nothing like the Bit Coin Show on OneTV. 10 to 15 min shows ...  Few episodes a month. Nothing Crazy. Short and to the point...but yet informative. It's time the face of BitCoin to be more upscale and presented in a more professional manor. Hopefully in the end we will prevail to be the solution . Thanks again and look fwd to your emails.

My advice: don't call it The Bitcoin Show.  And try to use fewer ellipses (unless that's your idea of a subtle joke, in which case: ha ha).
100  Other / Off-topic / Re: Two interesting emails I received today... on: August 30, 2011, 08:17:25 PM
The name Bruce Wagner can't be uncommon.  Now you're going to tell us you've got proof that links our Bruce with this Bruce Wagner con man from Bold Funding, Inc?  Give me a break.

We should elect someone trustworthy from here to set up a legal defense fund for Bruce.  I'd donate a BTC or two, and with these trolls after him, it sounds like he might need it.
