81  Other / Off-topic / Re: Mistakes Successful People Never Make Twice on: December 26, 2022, 08:27:28 AM
👉Not asking for help.
No one becomes wildly successful without the help of others, and yet so often we seem to want to do it all on our own. Initially, successful people may be stubborn to the point of not allowing anyone to help them. However, they soon learn the lesson that we all need a helping hand, and we all need to be willing to help others as well.

true,, sometimes lowering our ego and asking others for help will make us a better person and make our efforts smoother,, because we can see that everyone is successful with the help of others .. even at the level of Elon Musk himself, he got help from some of his friends, such as the CEO of Google and some of his other friends when he started his business at the beginning .. so asking for help from others is a very good decision and there is nothing wrong with that
82  Economy / Economics / Re: Have Satoshi dream failed? on: December 23, 2022, 10:50:34 AM
no, his dream has succeeded,, the proof is that now many people already hold crypto and have experienced the benefits of using crypto in their transactions .. it is only a matter of time before more people globally will use crypto in their transactions

84  Economy / Economics / Re: UK Norway finland and sweden economy in BIG debt on: December 22, 2022, 09:53:57 AM
i don't know which source you read that says that war can clear debts,, but in fact it's war that makes a country have an increasing debt, as experienced by Ukraine,, this is one of the countries that in the future will have more and more debts to America and its allies because the weapons and aid provided by America are usually not free and in the future they will charge for this, it can be in the form of resources or Ukraine will become a market for American products .. not to mention the armament that Ukraine bought to defend their country, this debt will last for generations to come
85  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your biggest obstacle to achieving financial freedom ? on: December 22, 2022, 08:30:28 AM

Regardless where we live, money is our top priority in order to survive and thrive. Having enough money to fall back on means we are entitled to more choice and possibilities. Like it or not, we are chasing or being forced to chase money in most phases of our life. Financial freedom has been most people's ultimate goal for decades, if not for centuries. To achieve this goal, we will encounter endless challenges. Each of us has a unique life situation so what is your biggest obstacle to achieving it ? I know we can make a long list of problems but there must be one or two primary reasons that really hold you back. This is where we should focus and I would like to hear your story. Thanks.

it's very difficult to be able to get passive income nowadays,, especially if you live in a city,, it's even more difficult to achieve, because the cost of living and also the needs that must be met often make it difficult for us to divide our income for needs and investments .. therefore most of it today's youth cannot achieve financial freedom at their age unless they inherit assets from their parents
86  Economy / Economics / Re: Warren Buffett rips Wall Street for turning stock market into a gambling parlor on: December 21, 2022, 04:19:40 PM
Is it accurate to say that investment has come to more closely resemble casinos or gambling parlors than areas of investment?

what is happening in today's society is that most people buy stocks not because they believe in the fundamentals of the company,,, but because of the hype that is created .. and usually investors like this will not last long in the market, because as soon as they see speculation and market trends that tend to go down, they will sell their shares and in the end they will suffer a loss
87  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat and crypto and stock is bs, but property is real on: December 19, 2022, 11:15:40 AM
Fiat and crypto and stock is bs, but property although is just concrete but it is real.

it's all about people's investment preferences,, you could say fiat and crypto and stock are the BS but other people may think differently .. you say that property is real but I don't think so, now investing in real estate is quite frustrating, many people nowadays end up selling their property assets at a cheaper price because property prices are increasing and people's purchasing power is getting lower and that's why investing in real estate is not as profitable as it is today
88  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Solution to Address the Problem of Gambling in Australia. on: December 19, 2022, 06:00:42 AM
How Sportsbet is working to address the problem - They are building a “real-time intervention” solution that will allow it to leverage the power of AI to quickly predict customers’ daily deposits and send alerts when the depositing amounts begin to climb up too rapidly.

i like their solution,, instead of limiting people to gamble they actually built a real time AI feature which limits the amount of people's deposits .. with this solution Sportsbet not only restricts people from over betting,, but also they won't lose their users, because we know that there are many users on Sportsbet who use credit cards and Sportsbet don't want to lose their users

Then have no concerns or fear that some of his questionable choices might backfire on him

he is like someone who is under the influence of drugs ,, usually people like this are very confident and not afraid of anything .. the police should immediately carry out a psychiatric examination and drug test ,, maybe while in the Bahamas he used many types of drugs to make himself more self-confident
90  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Deflationary Investment the Most Profitable Strategy for Our Era of Crisis on: December 18, 2022, 06:18:34 AM
Don't forget about land properties, they're also limited and that's why it's bound to go up despite that crises are there.

actually for land property, it is a long term investment instrument and its value will not increase forever as many say .. for example, in my city, there are many developers who end up selling their land at half price because the price claimed is increasing and this reduces people's interest in buying the land,, while they need fresh money to invest again .. therefore it is not always profitable to invest in land properties
91  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why every casino got bad habits? on: December 17, 2022, 03:39:36 PM
If you have a look at the scam accusation section, you will find that no casino has a good reputation there. Each and every casino which has their ANN thread here, has at least one complaint against them; sometimes confiscated funds, delayed withdrawal, not paying the winning, freezing account etc. Why this is the principal of all the casinos? Why they can't operate without having any issues? They always do this shit; who knows what has been done with people who don't know how to deal with such a casino. Can you show me a thread that never had any reputation issues on this forum?

it is impossible for an online platform not to experience problems for their users, even large platforms like Facebook or Google which have a team of professionals and experts in the IT field often experience problems with their users,, especially online casino platforms, most of which are still in the development stage, of course users will experience various problems when using the platform
92  Economy / Economics / Re: Bodyguards and security service Will be booming soon for sure on: December 17, 2022, 11:49:50 AM
i'm trying to catch what the OP said and I can say that the OP's point here is that the world is getting crazier and in the future there will be more people who need security and this will be a potential business in the future, so we should be able to take this opportunity( ?)
93  Economy / Gambling / Re: A way to attract new users or a misunderstanding? on: December 16, 2022, 07:08:01 AM
Is web 3 a misunderstanding word for some gambling crypto projects? I've come across few gambling / crypto projects that claimed to be a web 3.0 online casino and other but they still ask for KYC.

The definition of web 3.0 had everything to do with decentralization, block chain technology and token based economics as per what Wikipedia illustrated so why is identity/ verification integrated?

Is this just a misunderstanding of what web 3 actually is? Or it's a way to attract people/users to make them think that their platform is more advanced?.

it seems that this casino platform just wants to attract people to be able to use their platform, even though they don't implement web3 on their platform.. they really use crypto on their platform,, but this is not the intention of WEB3, it is a concept that combines decentralization, blockchain technology, and a token-based economy, and concepts like this would not be possible to implement on a casino platform
94  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Nuclear Fusion be a reality in the next decade? on: December 15, 2022, 03:39:52 PM
Since work on nuclear fusion began, the scientific community has been closely collaborating since the 1930s. In order to actually launch the nuclear fusion reactor project in an experimental phase in 1998, it is assumed that work will start with the clean energy that it will produce after 35 years from the date of its launch. On this basis, this energy will not be utilized during the next decade.
I expect that after another 30 years, the current energy companies will turn to investments in clean energy, since the resources will not be sufficient to continue investing.

i also think so .. we are too early to be able to use this fusion technology because there are things that need attention, namely security .. we know nuclear fusion is a renewable energy that we need, but if not managed properly this will backfire for us and this could be dangerous and could kill a lot of people,, even though they claim that this fusion energy is very safe but I'm still not sure about this claim
95  Economy / Economics / Re: Vegetable Prices Soar 40% as Crops Fail Under Extreme Weather on: December 15, 2022, 04:20:32 AM
Vegetable prices in the U.S. are around 40% higher this year and experts are saying climate change has played a prominent role. Bloomberg is reporting that Arizona produces 90% of leafy greens in the U.S. from November through March each year, but crop production has been greatly affected this year by a drought forming from reduced water levels in the Colorado River.

this is the reason why technology plays such an important role in overcoming crop failures like this .. with technology we can manipulate the weather and grow crops without worrying about crop failure or pest attacks .. even though developing this kind of technology is quite expensive, but in the long run it will really worth it
96  Economy / Economics / Re: This could be the biggest news in 2022 on: December 14, 2022, 04:22:52 AM
Crypto holding company by the name of Bitcoin Group are on the move to buy the world oldest bank for approximately 15 million dollars .

The name of the bank is Bankhaus von der Heydt which was founded in 1754, the deal is already signed but the reason for this post is to understand where this is going.

Banks aren't ready to buy Bitcoin but now Bitcoin is buying bank? This is the most mind-blowing news of the year, I don't know about you guys. Here you go if you want to read more

https://cryptoslate.com/bitcoin-group-set-to-acquire-germans-oldest-bank-for-over-15m/

i don't know what their goal is to buy the bank at such a low price, but I think this is very good because then they have obtained a banking license in Germany and maybe in the future they will launch a crypto-enabled digital banking service there .. and this is very good for increasing crypto adoption in Germany.
97  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Japan fall behind in the crypto industry ? on: December 12, 2022, 08:25:40 AM
as far as I know Japan is a country whose citizens are very nationalist, they really love their country, and maybe this is the reason why not too many Japanese people use crypto, because they think it's unnecessary because they still have a digital payment system and investment in their country also quite profitable.. but maybe in the future more people will adopt crypto in japan

100  Economy / Economics / Re: Cash must be king, Giorgia Meloni tells shoppers on: December 06, 2022, 06:42:33 AM
Some countries are just bad at digitalizing, and you often need cash there to get by. Italy has been heavily cash-based for a while. I've found the data from 2019 that around 86% of payments were made in cash there, so it's not a drastic policy change, but it still feels weird to reinforce what is clearly a problem that should be solved. Using cash is less hygienic, riskier (getting a person's cash is easier than using a stolen plastic card), more prone to financial crimes (cash can be counterfeit and real cash can be easily used for illegal purposes because no ID is required), less convenient (you have to count and carry it, cashiers have to count what to give you in return). I am not a fan of cash, I think going digital is the way.

i think that italians are almost the same as germans who still adhere to traditional payments,, because most germans also still use cash compared to digital payments for various reasons, the main one being security and privacy .. i also on several occasions still prefer to use cash compared to digital payments because i don't use my device all the time and also digital payments in my country are still not good because there are still many cases of hacking .. i'm not against digital payments, it's just that in my country it's still not good ..
