81  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Developing Winning Crypto Betting Strategies on: May 04, 2024, 01:52:16 AM
I am not expecting a betting site to be posting about winning betting strategies. I read the post and it was ridiculous. There is no betting winning strategies there. It is only about how to deposit coins and gamble with mBTC.

There is no winning strategies in gambling. It is better you see gambling as entertaining activities than to see it as a way of making money. Gambling sites is more having chance to make money from you and other users.

I will agree with you sir because there is nothing like winning strategy. These so called strategies has been the cause of gamblers failure. Some gamblers are just ignorant and are not ready to listen and learn to know that.  Gambling should be for fun and nothing more than that. When you see it as entertainment, you have succeeded in dropping out of the addiction line and that is what could have cost you alot.
82  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If we lose in gambling, what do we need to do? on: May 04, 2024, 01:35:33 AM
If you ever decide to keep gambling to win back your losses, you may end up living under a bridge. The way to handle losses in gambling is that once you lose, for example $10, simply let it go and gamble some other time. Because you may be tempted to retrieve it back but then, you may lose more and then you値l regret and you値l start wanting only part of the money but you値l likely only keep losing. Even if you succeed at getting it, you may still be tempted to win everything back and you may be stuck in a cycle which you値l end up losing.

This is actually the exact cycle that leads to gambling addiction. When a gambler gambles with the intentions of winning and earning profit from gambling, that play is someworth not really precised and it would be obvious that  such gambler has a back to back serial loses records which have been as a result of the gambler to recover from loss. While doing that, addiction sets in and eats deep into the gamblers lifestyle and from there it will be obvious that such gambler is addictded.
83  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which device do you prefer for gambling ? on: May 02, 2024, 07:37:31 PM
Using mobile phone is very much easy compared to the rest - I know some might argue that the large screen of tablet and laptops give it a better feel (which I totally agree with) but the fact that I知 able to gamble at any moment just makes phone a better option for me.

Of a truth using mobile phone is very much easy to use for gambling compared to others. Yes PC, tablet and desktop would give a good visuals and makes it fun and some worth lively but I don't think those stuff's can be carried from one place to another just like the phone that is mobile and gives quick access to the internet. The phone is more private compared to others and the best option as  you have said.
84  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which device do you prefer for gambling ? on: May 02, 2024, 06:02:31 PM
Phone is more conducive than the rest of the others in the sense that it is mobile and can be easily used to access the internet at any point in time. With your mobile phone you can easily download apps from any part of the world and also gamble from there. It guarantees ones privacy when gambling because you alone have access to your device and it is a personal property that needs no ones interference unlike the rest of the others.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: 1xbit violated self exclusion terms, do not want to help on: May 02, 2024, 11:12:34 AM
Sorry about your experience with the casino. As you can see from reports here, the casino in question has lots of pending cases here to answer as it bothers their operations. You have been a registered member here for a while which you should have known earlier about this casino.

Looking at the fact that you have already played and lost your game, it would be very difficult for they casino to make refund as you have demanded  because it was within you to make your decision if to continue gambling or not as you have already written to them for self exclusion.  For the fact that they did not reply you is enough for you to self exclude yourself first.

Lastly, you said you contacted the customer care service to give you chat evidence and you expect them to comply for evidence you want to use against them. I think that would be impossible because they would never do that. This is more like one shooting himself on his own foot. I did not think they would agree to give you that as it would be a big evidence against them.
86  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can You Submit KYC Before You Win Big on: May 01, 2024, 10:47:38 PM
I believe every casino do have ToS for gamblers to see before engaging with them. You would not blame any casino if they keep mute and a gambler plays and wins big after years of playing without winning one dime and all of a sudden it just happened that you had won a game believe me you, every casino would want to protect their interest by following every necessary procedures to see if  the winner is worthy of the rewards and if not, they prevent or bar you form withdrawal if they are fair enough in the  position to so so.
87  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Merit decay on: May 01, 2024, 10:22:14 PM
I quit don't get it, if smerits are been given to you just so that you can grow then it makes sense to take your unspent smerit away from you if you hoard them for too long, but mind you, is it fair?

Merits are rewarded to quality posters, they earned it, so they should be able to do what they like with what they've earned, don't you think? Who they are going to send their smerits to his the earners choice, this shouldn't cause problems.

Anyways, I don't even see any needs to hold smerits, I most times send them away when I got merited, there is no benefits in storing smerits on your account while reading through so many quality posts on the forum anyway.

So far, I have not heard or seen anyone on this platform complaining of their smerit vanishing or been taken away from them. I think it is an individual choice to decide on who to merit based on their post as it deserves it or not.
I still believe that some people who found their way here without anybody guiding them might really have no idea about the smerit and how to access them but I believe with time those set of people would definitely learn to access it and do the needful by spreading out their merit to those who deserves it through their quality posts.

None yet so far and I think all people is good on current situation since usually people spread out their smerits to people they think deserve to get it or simply giving back what you receive a merit to other people.
Its just our smerits are so limited that's why sometimes we cannot help other people who's in need to get merits especially those deserving newbies who post some good post in this forum to help them achieve their goals. Hopefully we can see a lot of new merit source especially on local boards so that we can see a good circulation of merits and lots people will rank up.

But for now people should do all they can to contribute so they can receive a merit then gain smerit to share to other people.

I think local boards should have merit source because that would help a lot to enable the locals that do not go out due to their language difference be merited. I believe their are lot's of good post that have not been over looked  as a result of the fact that the locals do not visit the general board or apply for a review as a result of language difference barrier.

Of lately, the community have been in a bubble of merit saga which is not going down well with her members.  As a result of this there have been a call needing the attention of the admin to look into the local boards application for merit source and I believe the admin is doing something about it and would announce it in due course.
88  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you cashout or wait for the game to conclude? on: May 01, 2024, 10:04:52 PM
At first, it would be nice knowing the condition of the bet. Did the bettor bet the game for fun or for profit. Although there is nothing wrong for one to not think of winning because it is natural that every human wants to be a winner. If the the bettor did bet for fun then it means that such an amount used for the betting means nothing to the bettor but if otherwise, to be frank anyone who does such should immediately take his or her profit and avoid being greedy  because you never can tell what would be the end results of the game. So it would be in your own personal interest to immediately take the profit as it is far much higher than the money you used in betting.
89  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game asking for KYC before letting me Withdraw on: May 01, 2024, 09:27:26 PM
Over and over again errors.

Chat/support just says try again, but theres nothing else to try.
The support said you have to wait for 24-72 hours for you to resubmit again. I think it has something to do with the system and that's why the error keeps on coming and there's a need for you to wait that long so that their system refreshes for your documents to get submitted again.
This time, you need to be patient OP. I know that it's too hassle when you need the money already and that's why you're withdrawing but wait until that time comes and resubmit your eligible docs again after that time lapses. And when that time comes, I hope that everything goes smoothly.

Same rep told me it was ready to go minutes afterwards and same result. Did it all over again just to receive an error for no reason.
I think tabas is right with his point because if the casino tells you such them it means that they are possibly fixing something up and would not want to tell you because there is no point doing so but rather they would just tell you to be patient and wait after a certain time to redo your KYC.
I just believe that there is something wrong with the system for the KYC and they are trying their possible best to fix it up and you should try be patient with them so that they would be able to fix it properly for your services. If they finish doing it and another issue comes up then means that casino is something else.

Welcome to bitcointalk platform. From your response to questions asked you, I realised that you are just here doing affiliate marketing to promote your referral link. At first when I saw the name and topic of the thread, what came to my "mendula oblongata" is the fact that you are likely the  a representative of the casino here which would have been better and preferable but you being an affiliate marketer can not guarantee the safety of playing with the casino. Because I believe you can not communicate them to rectify issues as you are not their customer care service neither are you their team member but just a business man who is doing his or her task to rake in rewards and helping in promoting the casino here.

I will advise you discuss with the casino team to looking into making their presence count here for more visibility and transparency. I believe I am Speaking the mind of other members as well.
91  Economy / Gambling / Re: More revelations on the challenges of physical casinos on: May 01, 2024, 08:19:44 PM
I choose online gambling because I don't want to be monitored, no one will see many as a gambler and if I get lucky no one will know that I just won a big amount of money, it will be a secret between the casino and I only.

I agree to this, the only way to your privacy will be exposed to the public is when the casino database was leaked which already happened in the past. In fact, I知 always receiving a promotional email from different casino that I didn稚 know regularly on my spam mails.

Although playing in physical casino makes feel comfortable especially privacy since I leave far away from the casino which means there痴 a very low chance I will met someone I knew there but playing online casino will give you the maximum privacy especially if the casino you are playing doesn稚 ask for KYC.

Of a truth online casino really guarantee ones privacy because when  one gambles nobody would know about it even when you win too nobody would know  or hear about it. It remains a secret between you and the casino and just as you have said, it can only get revealed when the casino is likely hacked and informations of gamblers registered with the casino is being publicly displayed.

Secondly you receiving promotional emails from casinos you did not register with seems fishy because it is either your details have been leaked from a data base which have emails stored there or you must have filled forms before that requires your email and possibly those details must have been traded or leaked which you never can tell. You can block those email addresses from sending you mails for your own safety because you just might be tempted some day to click on it to see their features and then you begin not minding the consequences of what you have done.

Lastly, playing at a casino far away from home is quite alright but the truth is that you never can tell who you will come in contact with in course of going there. You should know one thing that as you are having this type of thought so some other persons elsewhere are having such thought and there is every possibility that amongst a 100 persons you might meet in the casino you might likely meet them somewhere else in the future. So it is not a guaranteed stuff that playing in a casino far away from home is safe. You can talk about comfort when it gets to that point but not thinking of hiding from people when you gamble at a physical casino far away from home.
92  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game asking for KYC before letting me Withdraw on: May 01, 2024, 05:54:40 PM
OP I understand your frustrations when it happens that you have lost so much with your casino and when it was time to make withdrawal of your little win you start experiencing issues of this nature. At first, you should know that the casino in question is a centralised casino and as such are under government regulations in their location so they requesting for KYC is nog a big deal because already it is there in their ToS for every one to see for themselves.

The casino have every right to demand for KYC inline with their conditions of service and also the type of identification they require is best known to them for their own reasons which you can not question but however, I will advise you contact their representative here to see how he could help you out in handling your case with the casino. I see you are a Snr Member here already so you know how things works here and I believe you will be able to get your case handled amicably.

Welcome to bitcointalk platform. Be rest assured that you are on the right place. As a newbie, I know your curiosity is at the highest peak to know more about this platform. As the sayings goes, "the more you ask, the more you know" and indeed no question is stupid because it is only when you ask you will gain more knowledge and experience.

I look forward to working with your guidelines.

I believe you understood the points I was trying to make. All guidelines as earlier stated can be cited from the forum policies which if you read through all threads you will see them for yourself. What you just have to do is to understand them and follow them accordingly. There is nothing too big there that would make you be wanting of any offense here.  Just as I have reiterated asking questions would always put you on the right path making you more knowledgeable about the system and platform and how things works here. You would enjoy your stay here as time goes on.

From your OP, I see that you are a good researcher and you will be very much active and doing well here. You should not just depend on asking questions but also further do your research here as well. Take your time to go through the boards and threads one after the other, read and understand them properly and if there is you are not clear with, you can ask your questions here for clarity.
With respect to replying of posts, you do not need to reply them one after the other, you just have to quote reply all the comments one after the other and reply them one for one each of it requires you to do so.  I believe some members have illustrated that for you to see.

Lastly, abide by forum policies while you remain here. If you must copy paste here, you must do well to reference where you copied from as the platform frowns at plagiarism and it is punishable here likewise the use of AI to write here. It is against the forum standard. I believe this little tips would guide you while you remain here.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token - How do I go about it on: April 30, 2024, 05:23:57 PM
I need to know where to start and what information I need on how to create Token or coin, the process, and if you can use the token to buy stuff how does it all work someone please explain this to me because i might have something that could turn out pretty well.

more information first looking for high trusted members with in depth information or links.

I see some stuff but don't know what I am looking for and even if it's possible.

I have this little advise for you, if you must invest in crypto, then make bitcoin your first priority and not tokens, if you're interested about tokens, then try to learn how you could earn them than when you make use of your money investing on them, they have more tendencies for risk taking that you could expect, as a beginner, NF|Ts is not a good idea for you as a starting point, learn about bitcoin first.

I commend your ideas as it bothers investment for which OP will applaud you for, but I think OP is looking to get ideas and advise as it bothers Crypto projects. Looking at the OP, you could deduce that OP is talking about creating or launching a token for which everyone knows what that means when someone talks about launching a smart contract here.  Op is looking out for the legal aspects which I think should be basically focused on his or her location as it relates with their government laws so that OP do not get into trouble. Taxation too was another thing OP was curious about in knowing which I believe is very important as well.
97  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In Your Country Who Gamble More? Young Ones or Elderly Ones on: April 30, 2024, 04:44:40 PM
I have lived in many communities and some States or regions in my country and there are some communities I went and I discovered that women are more productive by going to farm and other daily activities to provide food in the family than men. While the male sons and fathers are busy playing bet with Checkers Game and popular known in my locality "Draft Board Game" and bet on "Whot Card Game". And their.wives would go to farm or fishing to feed the families. Till date those things are common in the places I have visited in the country, mostly the elderly ones who the young once are busy using the casino centers and websites to play their games.

The elderly ones are still busy playing games with the traditional methods so most of us didn't notice that they are gambling but they bet with money and that has become automatically a gambling habit while the younger generation is using the new methods of online and casino Halls. Mostly of this elders would left home early morning to the draft games centers and stay there till evening. Playing games with one another. In most time they use places that sells drinks and smoking things like cigarettes and others. Those places are always busy with elderly people.

Do you see such elderly people in your country? Or is it only in Africa? Is the younger ones play gamble more than the elders?

Of a truth what you have said is nothing different from the truth. I have been to places where I virtually notice all these you have spoken. Even on the street I see them mostly.  The point you have made pertaining women going to farm is very touching though. Irrespective of the fact that they are female gender, they go to the farm to making sure that their families feeds. While some of the male go to gambling spot as you have spoken for all they care is their ways to gamble and have fun.

Women are naturally caring and as such tends to making sure their family are alright irrespective of whatever their husbands endulge in. They feel less disturbed because they too can cater for the house and they go extra miles to work for survival. I believe most times they have Heart to Heart to with their husbands and agree to whatever they are doing that is why I do not bother most times to involve myself in husband and wife saga.

Finally, when it comes to who gamble most between the youths and elderly, I think the youths do gamble often than the elders because from experience, youths are very much inclined in technology and as such can gamble online without anybody noticing that. Those that goes to the offline casino do that as well but adults that I see sometimes are just few and what they do is just local gambling as you have said. They are not too technologically inclined so they do not bother going online to gamble but rather prefer offline which they can easily get along with.

98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token - How do I go about it on: April 30, 2024, 12:47:55 PM
I want information on how to create, the process, and if you can use the token to buy stuff how does it all work someone please explain because i might have something that could turn out pretty well.

more information first looking for high trusted members with in depth information.

I see from your post and topic, you want to know how a token is created. But I think it is not all about just creating a token but what value does this token come with. What utility value does the project for which this token would be created for have.

I am thinking you should properly state them clear here so that anybody who finds their way here would have knowledge of what your project is all about and would also contribute in advising you on what to do and steps to follow.

Lastly, for promotional campaign, you can click the link below my profile to get in touch with a campaign manager to further develop your project.

The only reason why i ain't mention the idea because i don't want any one to steal it.

but lets say for example with the 1 token gathered you get you can buy from our forums 100 piece of different color item or figure or part that you can build in real life (that's the hint)

but i really want know the laws and legal aspect to this before moving forward. can you make it official like every sale get's taxed and make it a actual network where you can buy and sales convert and go to who they should.

I understand the fact that you are trying to protect your idea from being stolen, but you can give a hint about it here. However, if you must need a token, you must have a good utility value for your products so that it can be able to survive the heat out there otherwise I would advise you do kit waste your time engaging in such.

Talking about legal aspects of it depends on your location. If the country where you reside does not permit Crypto them you look elsewhere or seek the advice of a legal attorney to explain better to your understanding the locus operandi of your location as it bothers Crypto currency, taxation and all you could think of as it bothers around your project.
