81  Other / Beginners & Help / Anyone from UK use Bitget? on: May 25, 2024, 02:30:28 PM
There are a few altcoins I want to invest in that are not on the main exchanges yet but are on Bitget and just wondering if Bitget is a good, trustworthy exchange for those of us in the UK?

Dump my friend. I have experienced missed $350k unrealized profit at 2021 bull run. I just tell you that if you will be regretting it once you will not able to sell your bags at new ATH. It's kinda stupid to believe your money will be going even higher than this time. The better to take a look at what stack has done. It was going back down again.
Im expecting parabolic chart for arcblock after this. It was never reaching a new ATH since it was getting listed. This is the time for you to sell it at the top. Don't be so dumb and greedy. You will be regretting it once you will be missing a chance to sell your tokens at the top.
Think about that my friend. The pump will never be forever. I remind you there was no a strong reason why this token gets pumped so hard like this time. The better for you to cash out it at least a half from your investment.
Expecting you to get more is a very risky decision.

We still have many months left of the bull run including the parabolic stage so it can hit £15+ easy.

The whole market is dumping currently, not sure why.

If you didn’t sell in the peak of the last bull then that is a stupid mistake to make, I will not be making that mistake and will cash out most of my profits by the end of this year.

We seem to be having a bit of a dip in the market despite the news of the Ethereum ETF approval.

Current price of Arcblock is £3.22, I will wait till it reaches £4 to then take out another decent chunk of profit and then hold the rest till end of year when it is hopefully £10+

Looking forward to alts season now, FOMO is high and you have to be willing to take risks. I'm preparing well, but I'm still continuing to staking TFS for backup, at least it will help keep me in the market

Yes you do have to take risks.

Many like to play it safe and that's fine if you have good money to start with but if you don't then you have to take a gamble like i did here.
It was only £300 over a 3 month period I put into this altcoin and it is now number 1 in my portfolio.

I am hoping to end this bull market with good money to then play it more safe in the next bear market in 2026.

Hopefully alt season is only a month or so away now, fingers crossed.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin profit - when is being greedy too greedy? on: May 23, 2024, 11:28:27 AM
I am just trying to imagine what it would be like in both scenarios.

If it was to crash today, yes I could have had a lot more profit If I had played it safe and taken more out but at least I will have still banked £1.6k profit and not lost anything.

If I was to sell today and it does another 10x from current price this bull run, that would annoy me more as we would be talking tens of thousands of pounds extra I could have had.

I will continue to hold for now and see how the next week or so goes, current price is £3.45 and my next take profit level is £4.20 so will take some more out then.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin profit - when is being greedy too greedy? on: May 23, 2024, 09:57:33 AM
Can I also ask, now that this altcoin has been performing really well over the last 6 months am I correct in assuming it will at least survive the rest of the bull run?

Or can altcoins crash at any point even during the bull run stage?

I don't want to get too confident with it and just assume it will still be around in a year just because of the recent rise if that is not always the case.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin profit - when is being greedy too greedy? on: May 23, 2024, 08:57:40 AM
Yes that is my main concern selling too early.

I could sell my whole bag now for a 40x return but it only takes the price to now 2x in price for me to have an 80x return so its a big difference.

The current price is £3.40 , I think I will just continue selling in parts as we go up in price my next sell target is £4.25 I will take more out then.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Altcoin profit - when is being greedy too greedy? on: May 23, 2024, 07:19:49 AM
I hold an altcoin called Arcblock which I invested in last year at an average price of £0.09 and it reached an all time high earlier this week of £3.72 which is a 40x return. Current price is £3.35.

So far I have taken out my investment (£300) plus £1.6k profit but I am wondering if I should take more now or continue holding as we still have months to go, possibly even another year until the peak of the bull run so feel the price could go a lot higher.

On one hand I don’t want to sell too early , I believe Arcblock can reach at least £15 this bull run, some are even saying as high as £50 which is crazy to think as that would give me over a 500x return, but I’m not sure about that.

On the other hand I moved into my first house 6 months ago and the amount I can cash out now will help pay towards some of the work we want done to the house.

I have not been in this position before, it is my first bull run and this is the first investment that has given me 40x return so not sure what is best to do.

I am leaning towards cashing out half of the remaining amount I have left and then leaving the other half until the peak of the bull run but is that too much too cash out this early or is it the smart thing to do?

I know taking profits is never a bad thing but could cost me a lot if this does continue to grow in price a lot over the next 6-12 months , that is my concern.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Swap crypto or sell first then buy? on: May 19, 2024, 12:02:28 AM
I think I am just going to cash out every $3 it goes up from now on.

I have seen price predictions for this bull run from $10 - $50 so I will leave 1000 till the peak of the bull run and hope it is closer to $50

Well, I am wondering what you would do if you take $3 cash continuously for 5 times and then the price goes down, where do you define as your stop so you continue taking $3 gain? $3 from the dip? Or does the dip need to clear and get back to the amount it was, then you wait for $3 gain on that? For me I think a best to have a target which can be hit at once instead of taking the gain in such small bits.

Im not 100% sure but think you misunderstood me.

I mean I will take profit every time the price of Arcblock increases by $3.

So it is currently at $4 , so when it gets to $7 I will take some profits , when it then gets to $10 take some more.

Boyptc - it was a $360 investment.

I have taken the $360 out plus $2k profit so far so I am now holding a free bag which is currently worth $9495 - it has been my best investment by far so far in my crypto journey.

I am just not sure if I should take more out at this current price or hold and be brave hoping it goes a lot higher by the end of the year in the peak of the bull run.

Hi,

I have a few altcoins that are doing pretty well and want to take profits soon to then reinvest into other altcoins that haven’t pumped yet and I am wondering if it is best to swap directly or sell my altcoin that is doing well into USDT and then buy the new altcoin I want with the USDT?

I use Coinbase mainly so wondering which way is best to do it or is there not really much difference?

A lot of people, not me made this mistake in the last bull run. What they did was after making huge profits from altcoins the invested, they reinvested the same money into altcoins that has not pumped yet and that's who they made one the biggest mistake they will never forget, they lost most of their profits investing in those coins, many of them even died and never resurrect again.

My advice is that if you are holding a good coin and you know that the coin has potential to move up for more, why not live them instead of going into another dangerous coin that may even fail you. The devil you know is better than the angel you don't know, so be careful with the market liquidity exits from whales.

The altcoin I took profits from was Arcblock - it has given me a 40x return so far which is great.

It could end up giving me over a 100x return or it could crash any day so it is not an altcoin I am super confident with it is just one I got lucky with buying near the bottom last year and it has done extremely well since.

I put profits into 3 altcoins in the current top 40 I believe will 10x at least this bull run.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Arcblock - anyone else get in early? on: May 17, 2024, 11:16:14 AM
Arcblock continues to pump and reached a new all time high yesterday of £3.29 ($4.15) which has now given me a 40x return on my investment - the biggest return I have had up till now.
Not all coins maintain pumping for months and it’s extremely hard to predict which ones would be the ones to pump constantly that could give you massive returns. It is truly a test of trust and patience for coins such as this. I’m sure many who has hesitated before are regretting now.

It is getting very tempting to take out more profit but i constantly see others say that it can reach at least £20 this bull run and if it does that would give me almost a 300x return which is crazy to think but it is possible.

Any advice? I am just thinking that when altcoin season comes this can fly past £10 easily and maybe even £20 so do not want to sell too early.

You can keep waiting and holding but just make sure to not fly too close to the sun and get burned to ashes. These coins can instantly drop in just a minute or an hour so always make sure you have a plan B in case things go south.

I took more profit last night, i couldn't resist.

I understand those who say we are not even at alt season yet so it will go much higher in a few months but you never know it could crash again and i could lose my profits.

I have now banked £1.6k ($2k) profit from this investment so at least now I feel like I don't have to panic and just hope it continues to grow with no pressure as I have banked some good profit.

Thanks for the replies so far.

The altcoin I have just taken profit on is Arcblock - I was lucky and got in last year at $0.11 and it has just reached a new all time high of $4.26 so almost given me 40x return so far so felt I had to take some more profit.

I sold to Usdt and then with that Usdt I topped up my bags on 4 other altcoins I already have in my portfolio that I believe will do well this bull run.

97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pangolin - anyone else invested? on: May 06, 2024, 05:39:58 PM
We are nowhere near the bull run top and as it is such a low market cap and great tokenomics it won’t take much for Pangolin to double in price and then double again.

If Pangolin does well this bull run then it will easily reach $5 and likely $10.

It could go to zero but this is the game I play it has worked up till now so will continue to gamble on altcoins that have great tokenomics and I believe will do well.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pangolin - anyone else invested? on: May 05, 2024, 09:51:27 PM
Is it the same Pangolin DEX that was exploited? Maybe not. I know about the DEX from the inception and launch on Avalanche buy I haven't tried it out yet. If Avalanche foundation is ready to support memecoins in its ecosystem, then there's a high chance their one of the most valuable projects currently striving in its ecosystem. I don't know much  about the fundamentals of PNG but as long as there's a strong market and altcoins are making move, it might reach $5 even though I think it's far-fatched.

Pengolin at a price of $5 would be a 10x from current price and only give it a $1b market cap and we still have up to a year of the bull run to go for it to reach that price.

I see many saying it can even reach $10 or $20 with how good the tokenomics are. I think $20 is a stretch but $10 might be possible so I’m pretty confident $5 will be reached.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pangolin - anyone else invested? on: May 05, 2024, 07:10:49 PM
Did you look at its historic chart? The coin/token had an average price of $0.05 from May 2022 up until Feb 2024 which is around 2 years, and that is probably the reason why it has a low market cap because it never had a high price. The market cap of a coin doesn't show how much potential it has because it is just a figure that shows how much is the value of the token multiplied by its supply, and if a coin or a token has a low market cap, it means it isn't in demand. Its value is low, and whether or not it will be in demand in the future is always unknown.

Its price started moving just recently, and it hasn't been able to go anywhere above $0.62 or something, what makes you think that it will go up to $5? The all-time high of it is $4.99 and it's down almost 90% from its all-time high.

I hope you get your desired profits from it, but to be honest, I don't find much potential in it.

Many people said this to me a few months ago when I invested in Arcblock @ 10 cents last year and it has done a 36x in like 5 months.

We still have many months left of the bull run , likely another year so plenty of time for Pangolin to get even more hype and reach $5 at least.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pangolin - anyone else invested? on: May 05, 2024, 05:24:27 PM
Yes Pangolin PNG - didn’t realise there was another Pangolin.

Current price is $0.55 I’m hoping for at least $5 which would
