81  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and wealth as the major religions in world. on: September 23, 2021, 05:36:40 AM
It's not money and wealth that some people live for. No one really sees where mankind is going even if we unite the entire world and everyone becomes rich, what next then?  Invade Mars or Jupiter? There is nowhere else to go.  So just be thankful that after 60-80 years old you'll die. You'll die even if you are richer than Bezos otherwise you'd see how your kids die or suffer poverty when the money you left is spent by your grandson through dice.

We give importance to family, we make money for our family, and believe that they too can live a good life.
Money is for our physical being, Religion is for our spiritual being.
82  Economy / Economics / Re: Future economic fear of the rich and poor. on: September 23, 2021, 04:01:35 AM
If you say so but during this pandemic I don't think they can handle any more losses. Yes, that phrase as "poor people becoming poorer while rich people becoming richer" is too common to almost everyday but with this pandemic if this will continue for more than a year then what do you expect to the rich people who are living on a country where there's always a lockdown? Do you think they can still enjoy their wealth more than the others like how the poor people live their life? I think it depends on who has the strongest will to survive will always wins.

In the United States, the top 1% of the population pays 40% of all the taxes. And trust me, if needed many of these people can just migrate to another country. For this group, the tax rates are already sky high, with the marginal tax rates approaching 60%. Now Biden regime wants to increase the capital gains tax to the same level. Do you really think that anyone would take the risk of investing in volatile assets, if there is a chance that 60% of their potential profits would go up as taxes? The left-leaning governments are just killing the goose that lays the golden eggs. By the time the population realizes this, it will be too late.

The pandemic kills all the potential as to where rich and poor could go to enjoy. Even if they migrate somewhere, Pandemic is all around.

"poor people becoming poorer while rich people becoming richer" probably will not apply this time unless the rich really know where to put their investment to make more money. Did you know that the rich hypocrites are shouting so they could tax their rich enemies? I hope they don't exempt themselves.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to Earn While Holding Crypto Assets on: September 23, 2021, 02:37:16 AM

Sending BTC and ETH to blockfi or Celsius kind of platform is not holding but giving your coins to them. Holding means you have the private key of the coins you have. It's very risky to go into these CEFI platforms because SEC has not dealt with them yet. If all of a sudden SEC sees them as an economic threat, they will seize the coins of these borrow and lending platforms including yours.

Staking is much more like the HOLDING type while you earn. There are many tokens to choose from for this like ETH and DOT. There could be cheaper like ADA so you checkmore.

84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a good Time to Buy? on: September 22, 2021, 08:12:20 AM

It usually tries to dump again so wait for another dip before buying so. The bottom was$39.700 so maybe by the time it will dip again it's just going to touch $40.000 and back up again. Before this week ends, I guess it will already be going back to $40 again so the next week's candle I guess would be green.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polygon vs Solana. on: September 22, 2021, 03:39:17 AM

If you are asking which to invest I think I would go for the cheaper Polygon as they do have more tokens available in their network than in Solana. Polygon's chart also looks more perfect for investing than the chart of SOL.

I'm not very knowledgeable however of both tech details so if they say TPS of SOL is more than what Matic can do, then good for SOL but as far as I know, Polygon had been around longer than Solana.
86  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Continuously Loosing money in Trading!!!! on: September 22, 2021, 03:26:56 AM

No one yet had advised you to change your career if you have not been successful after 3-4 years of trading then consider this as one of the advice. However, if you have the persistence and keeping faith that you will eventually be successful, learning more about the trade is the way to go. Indicators they say will help a lot.

I'm not a day trader but more of a long-term trader. I'd like to buy coins when they dip down to their very oversold point in the weekly chart using the RSI. It's not a very tiresome job since it's almost like holding.
87  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin is the influencer on: September 22, 2021, 02:58:57 AM

Bitcoin is being paired to all coins in which all other coins and tokens are dependent on the satoshi price of BTC. BTC is traded against almost all coins.
If the value of BTC depreciates, all the rest depreciates as well. Most of the coins including ETH are priced base on BTC.  The ERC20 tokens are also dependent on ETH, so if the ETH price goes up or down, the movement of the price also influences the prices of tokens because ETH is their base.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Do Young Investors Prefer Cryptocurrencies? on: September 21, 2021, 10:19:35 PM

The old money system is proven to have many flaws compared to blockchain base currencies which are more transparent and couldn't be seized by the governments, this kind of characteristic of Bitcoin and many other cryptocurrencies are more appealing to new investors particularly the tech-savvy which are the youths today.

One factor as well is that people are using the internet even the poorest people today have access online than banks. Internet is where cryptocurrency is which doesn't limit the unbanked people including the youth.
89  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Withdraw and stop using Binance on: September 21, 2021, 10:07:16 PM

Seizing Binance servers is drastic action, it will really drag the prices down. I'm still maintaining small amounts in binance just to make sure I can still profit whenever the price goes up again.

The SEC also shut down the plan of Coinbase Lending plan which is also making those people on Twitter very paranoid about this kind of action towards crypto. And this isn't a fud too.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Im going to buy solana at 80$ on: September 21, 2021, 09:47:23 PM

Will SOL really dip this low?
I'm having doubts about that. Price had gone up to the peak, if it has to go down, this can only happen if we experience every long bear market that would take half a year of a bear market. What we are experiencing so far seems like correction only. The price had a breakout to some support but the chart doesn't really look worse like one long red candle.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The cheapest way to exchange ETH Tokens for Bitcoin ? on: September 21, 2021, 12:34:04 AM
What is the cheapest way to exchange tokens (ETH/BSC/POLYGON) for Bitcoin?
(1) P2P, preferably your friend. You can hand him your private key, and he can give you his private key (barter). However, there will be problems if one side or both store backups. It's the cheapest, but not feasible in most cases.

(2) The 2nd cheapest for small amount is to use instant exchange such as changenow, changelly, etc., but it has a bad reputation on this forum.
(3) The 3rd cheapest is to use centralized exchange the likes of Binance et al.

For (2) & (3) you do it when the gas price is low.
Your chances are very low to exchange tokens for Bitcoin. The third one is the best options: " centralize exchange". But now Bitcoin investment isn't profitable. Why does someone want to exchange tokens for Bitcoin? We have one option if our tokens are ERC-20. It doesn't cost us the same 24 hours as you can see. GWEI is always changing if you check gas prices.

Bitcoin is actaully her best option. It's the best performing asset. It's the centralized exchanges that are all he needs.

The withdrawal fee of BTC is higher in the exchanges but there are exchanges that only need 0.0005 for withdrawal of BTC, a bit high is you only have a few. But OP said he has plenty of it. What is 0.0005BTC for him. Kraken and bittrex has low withdrawal fees. 0.00015 BTC I think.

93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin move to Proof of Stake? on: August 31, 2021, 07:17:56 AM
It has been discussed many times and it won't.

But, there's this misleading label from the exchanges that you can "stake" your bitcoin to them. It means that depositing to them and earning interest from doing that.

I just hope that they'll change that label instead of staking, they just call it deposit savings.

Not sure why it will confuse anyone since the algo is clearly POW. Does anyone ever have access to make changes to the code because Satoshi disappeared already?

If anyone or the team can modify the protocols, it leaves doubt to investors that its not decentralize.
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why hoard Bitcoin? on: August 10, 2021, 07:55:56 AM

I usually hear the word Hoard used for products stored in a warehouse to wait for the price to go up. ITs often a strategy to profit and just like Bitcoin I guess they are aiming to profit too.

Everyone wants to hold but when the time comes people will sell. Who can hoard BTC after that are institutions who can afford to buy a lot of them later to be used for their Defi platforms.
95  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some silly Bitcoin trading mistakes people make occasionally on: August 10, 2021, 07:03:22 AM
It does work for some tokens but only a handful of them. It's going to be easy for you to hold BTC because you know its price could be more than what it is in another 5 years. I have done some holding for more than 4 years of some token but in the end they disappear. ICONOMI (ICN) for example, which I thought they are there forever, my coins are left unswapped and they won't even consider it.
But, I didn't refer to a token that could disappear at any time. We all know that Ethereum is a project whose development isn't a joke. Obviously, there are useless tokens that disappear due to their pyramid scheme; to make their creators richer. Usually, they're very promising.

Newbies selling on $30k is because they are also afraid it will dip further.
Bravo. So, there shouldn't be people who will later criticize those who were afraid of their investments, since no one can ensure their assumption about the movement of the Bitcoin's price.

No. in fact we can't do anything against fud but we could all dump while at its peak. This could be devastating for someone new but they'd understand later the fud is actually created by those guys who are more interested to take the BTC  of the newbies who are scared.

We can add this to the trading mistakes people make occasionally. Like when the fud starts, dump all they got and wait.

96  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some silly Bitcoin trading mistakes people make occasionally on: August 10, 2021, 06:48:05 AM
To be clear it only works for bitcoin not just any coin.
Now, that's a hole! How can you prove that it only works for Bitcoin? I'm a fan of Bitcoin, but I've acknowledged that hodling may work with other cryptocurrencies too. For example, Ethereum. If you bought ETH and hodled them, you'd have increase your earnings by far. What's wrong with altcoins that makes you think they won't stand in the long term?

"Digital" currencies existed before bitcoin. "Crypto" currency started with bitcoin in 2009.
Which digital currencies weren't crypto currencies and which digital currencies existed before Bitcoin?

For example this year price went to $60k then fell down to $30k. The problem is with those newbies who sold their bitcoin in $30k range when the fall had already ended.
The problem is that some people believe they can predict when the fall ends.

It does work for some tokens but only a handful of them. It's going to be easy for you to hold BTC because you know its price could be more than what it is in another 5 years. I have done some holding for more than 4 years of some token but in the end they disappear. Newbies selling on $30k is because they are also afraid it will dip further. This I guess is what OP is saying that they can't afford to lose the money they've invested in.
Holding doesn't come  with the idea of "Don't dump the BTC you expect the price to be $100K"
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: some people uneducate about Bitcoins on: August 10, 2021, 05:47:56 AM
In the past Bitcoin was known and used for illegal payments, because the transactions were anonymous so most people had negative beliefs about Crypto. Not only that, Blockchain is also a new technology that most people don't know about and they call it a scam. This is natural, because knowledge about bitcoin is uneven. Bitcoin is now famous for its price skyrocketing in the last 5 years and those who enter the Bitcoin market just want to get rich quick without any basis.

It's reported in many news sites in a way that Bitcoin is only used for casinos and illegal payments is because it was first used this way. Remember that there is Silkroad e-commerce which anyone could buy drugs and also Bitcoin was used on online casinos too in its early adoption. But the media overdo it though that even today they still think it's how it is.

Change is here in which regulations are set for Bitcoin and it's going to educate people even the senators are now reading what cryptocurrencies are.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: some people uneducate about Bitcoins on: August 09, 2021, 09:18:32 PM
5 years ago I heard about Bitcoins  some feedback are good but some of them are negative

Untill now In my country if you say/discuss about Bitcoins expect that their response are negative.

Why does some people always say negative about Bitcoins?

1. Lack of knowledge about Bitcoins, uneducate People only saw the negative sides of Bitcoins.
2. Some of them say negative feedback because of their experience on some sites about Bitcoins,  because now a days Bitcoin are popular but there are many site will scam you if you are spontaneous to invest in not trusted sites.

The reason why people have a negative impression about Bitcoin is different but the two major things that cause it are ignorant and the government stance towards Bitcoin and I can most people in your country that said negative things about Bitcoin does because your government has not acknowledged Bitcoin personally.
Yes. Bitcoin does not seem to create positive things to the people because even the government personally is not in favor of bitcoin and does not trust it because of what they always believe bitcoin being a scam. And for those citizens who don't even have enough knowledge for bitcoin, so they resort into believing the government which is not definitely right.

However, if the government can provide good education not just for their traditional finances but even to the new risen blockchain technology, then the citizens will not come up being naive and ignorant to bitcoin.

It's the media that should be taught about Bitcoin. The cryptocurrency had been around for years and everything about it can be found online actually, they are free which bloggers like Andreas Antonopoulos had been teaching on youtube. The media can change things if they are just going to be willing to learn.

Reporting correctly about the real information is suppose to be a responsibility but then today they are paid by big businesses trying to subdue this industry including those senators proposing terrible crypto bills.
