81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token goes down. Wait or sell? on: August 17, 2018, 01:56:31 PM
If you have a desire to get out of the crypto-currency market, then the trend reversal will occur very soon and bitcoin will start its growth again, many do not believe it, because they already disagreed greatly in this, but still it seems to me that this is quite normal.
yes, don't do any panic selling, this only causes loss for you
82  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto replacing fiat? on: August 16, 2018, 02:17:07 PM
There are so many possibilities in here if the cryptocurrency will remove or replaced FIAT currency there are some people that doesn't want to use it because they don't know. There are some good deeds it can provide like the faster transactions to any people who use it. But before that happen for sure it will gonna be world discuss.
yes, discuss about the taxes and regulation, and at last crypto will not be a free as nowdays
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you picky with ICOs? on: August 16, 2018, 02:14:05 PM
It is a usual and normal thing to be very picky with icos as many icos are scams nowadays and that is the reason why one needs to make a lot of research before selecting icos
to prevent any loss or futile job
84  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto replacing fiat? on: August 16, 2018, 02:07:21 PM
If crypto currency manage to replace fiat currency which we know that is unlikely to happen. Crypto would rise and reach an exceeding high price value when it became a main stream currency and it would increase the number of wealthy crypto users. But some problems may arise like scarcity, rules and regulations and taxes.
for now crypto seems so good because this thing haven't get a lot of regulation and no taxes, but let see if there is regulation or maybe tax, is crypto still be famous? or it will be something similar to fiat but only in digital form?
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you picky with ICOs? on: August 11, 2018, 02:39:40 AM
Yes I am and everyone else should be also.   A project must earn my Bitcoins or Ethereums.
to prevent scams, because we don't want to work on a scam project that doesn't pay and run without any responsibility
86  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will control the world economy!!!!! is it true? on: August 11, 2018, 02:14:00 AM
Some media shows that bitcoin can be the next weapon to control the world economy. i think it is true and it will be seen soon.
Yes, I agree with you what you said because bitcoin can control the world economy and especially now that has been powerful of bitcoin today.
i can't say that bitcoin controlling the economy but the changing the economy by cutting the middleman, and simplifying the crowdfunding process
87  Economy / Economics / Re: When will smartphones used for bitcoin mining? on: August 11, 2018, 01:54:27 AM
It won't happen.

Smartphone for bitcoin mining? you are just destroying your phone.

Smartphone as digital wallet, you can simply download an app / wallet and that's how you make it as your wallet.

You never know! With the help of nano technology we may be able to achieve smaller chips that produces as much power as a full sized mining rigs in future. I mean that is not the reality now but it may become in future. If you were 80's kid, did you ever think that you can carry a computer in your pocket? Because what computer we have seen that time was Pentium one and it required an air conditioned room to run that. Nano technology achieved that impossible and now we carry a smart phone inside our pocket.

So keep your hope high as we don't know where the technological achievements can take us!
but it still a long way, i have seen that in china there are a bitcoin mine as big as a room just for computers, this will need time to shrink a room sized computer into a hand sized smartphone
88  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do older people like investing in Gold/Silver? on: August 11, 2018, 01:46:21 AM
maybe it is because of their mindset that gold is a valuable item, because of its rarity, they think that when have golds, they have rare items that can be sold with a high price one day, there are many forms of investments, which in my opinion is better and more profitable, but i think it is because of their mindset
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does crypto mean to you on: July 29, 2018, 01:21:50 PM

90  Economy / Economics / Re: What language should I learn next? on: July 29, 2018, 12:49:34 PM
I know some of you would wonder what this topic is doing here, in the Economics section, but since it is in fact an economic question with purely utilitarian goals in mind, I think it is where it should be. This is a serious question and I'm not kidding. I'm not very interested in European languages like German or French, or whatever, as I think languages like Chinese and Japanese are more promising and rewarding in terms of both usage and money in the nearest future. Personally, I'm more inclined toward Japanese (that's why I'm not decided yet), though I understand that Chinese may be a better choice for the time being and years to come

So what is your opinion on this matter from an economic point of view, with crypto in mind?
if your point of view is the economy, i suggest you to learn chinese language, because china economy is booming right now, china is a rising global superpower. Over the last 35 years, China has transformed itself from an impoverished third world country to become what is arguably the largest global economy.

During this same period, China has opened itself up to the world, encouraging foreign investment and economic cooperation. Of course, to be this sort of bridge, there is one skill you must have: fluent Mandarin Chinese. Due to the lack of people in the Western business world who can speak both Chinese and English, there’s a huge demand for these skills, and this can of course mean very lucrative wages.
91  Economy / Economics / Re: Why lot of countries do not allow to use Crpto? on: July 29, 2018, 09:05:03 AM
Lot of countries do not allow to use crypto currencies and they discourage using them. However as far as I feel, trading with crypto is not that harmful for the economy of the country. As an example, if a person has Eth and someone from another country needs to buy Eth, that buyer needs to pay the seller in terms of dollars. Then that seller needs to convert that Dollars to his native currency which means it creates a the demand for the native currency and increase the value of the currency. May be the government is unable to add a tax on such transactions but it is beneficial for the currency used in seller's country.
What do you think about that?
because the government doesn't have the power to control this crypto, they can't take taxes from it, and usually they use the reason that crypto  potentially used for terrorism financing and money laundering.
92  Economy / Economics / Re: Indonesia’s Central Bank is Planning to Ban Bitcoin in 2018 on: July 29, 2018, 09:00:55 AM
Quote
He went on to detail additional restrictive measures by the bank, stating:

We [will] also prevent arbitrage opportunities, unhealthy business practices and business controls by parties outside the legal reach of Indonesia’s laws that could damage the structure of industries here.

detail here https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/indonesia-planning-ban-bitcoin-2018-report/

what do you think about this ?

i think my country not ready to growing with this blockchain era.
if they said that digital currencies potentially used for terrorism financing and money laundering. they don't remember the fact that fiat is misuse by the people to do corruption, they only see the bad side of the crypto, they don't want any changes and take steps to the future.
93  Economy / Economics / Re: Politicians fear cryptocurrency because it will stop corruption. on: July 25, 2018, 01:18:21 PM
I don’t see how it will stop corruption. Corruption is rooted from greediness and I believe that politicians will continue to become greedy despite of the presence of cryptocurrency. How will that stop them from abusing their power and authority? They don’t fear crypto because they actually have the power to declare a ban. You probably heard some negativity from them because of how much money it generates and they’re probably just jealous of the people exploiting it when they’re the ones who should be able to exploit it for money.
corruption and misuse of money there will always be, because they will always look for ways to do it
94  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Globalization on: July 25, 2018, 11:59:33 AM
Globalization was told for a very long time. Probably, this will be a new stage in the development of our civilization. This is a new form of human interaction. Perhaps the whole world will be without defenders and borders, without taxes and barriers. Bitcoin will take in such a world a worthy place of the world currency. Developing new technologies will help create a more developed society where there are not very magazine and very poor. Regulation will occupy cars, they are not expensive for the corrupt. We need a new world, it is perhaps a new and unified religion, which will affect all of humanity ... no longer warms, humanity can be really civilized. What do you think all about it? Maybe Bitcoin is part of the globalization plan?
The decentralized blockchain empower individuals and local communities, creates opportunities and enables connection across borders without requiring users to sacrifice individual autonomy or privacy. this connection without borders is a part of globalization
95  Economy / Economics / Re: So many threads being made but most of them are rubbish. on: July 25, 2018, 11:41:34 AM
I tried to open many threads as i am turning my head away from those non sense post but most of the times i do not have a choice but to discuss also with them. Now i hope that this thread will reach out to those people who are always posting nonsense thread and think of a post that is constructive where we could have an active discussion regarding a topic that is not boring.

Yes that's true, most of the thread are rubbish.Someone already posted that topic and then suddenly someone copy it and change some sentence or words on it and then posted it again. They getting an idea on that topic and they posted with the same idea. Why we not try to create our own thread ? A new topic ? A fresh and different topic ? I think that is a better idea .
in my opinion, is this the way bounty participants to fulfill the post task when they follow the signature campaign?
96  Economy / Economics / Re: Beside Cryptocurrenices where would you invest? on: July 23, 2018, 12:30:51 PM
A lot of people now days jumping and investing in the cryptocurrency industry.
If you are not investing in crypto, where do you else invest?

it is depends on your way of investing, you like it short term or long term investment? a small or big budget?
97  Economy / Economics / Re: Government Furious on: July 22, 2018, 09:15:33 AM
I see the government greedy. There are several ways of taxing citizens. Direct and indirect taxes exist in each country. Owners of cryptography may not pay a direct tax on their cryptography, but will not be able to evade indirect taxes. Again, this is a small part of the population that is in crippling currency. Therefore, the agitation of the government from my point of view is unfounded.
because the government is trying to attract as much tax and the results for equitable development in the country. I think it's a good thing if the government does that, because not all citizens are rich
it is true that not all citizens are rich, but taxes are paid according to the ability of the person
98  Economy / Economics / Re: why do people agree to pay taxes? on: July 22, 2018, 08:29:39 AM
actually by paying taxes for your country it's the same you contribute to the development and infrastructure of your country so there is nothing wrong you pay taxes.
the wrong thing that happened here is the tax misuse, there are some parties who are not responsible for the taxes that have been collected
99  Economy / Economics / Re: Is cryptocurrency help to expand the world business? on: July 22, 2018, 07:47:35 AM
