Bayern Munich could have really won today if they were better at finishing. I mean maybe they scored 2 goals anyway but wasted a lot more than that especially in the 1st half. I wasn't expecting Ancelotti to start with a similar tactic to the last Manchester City match. I thought he would prefer a more attacking game here. At the end of the day Ancelotti got what he wanted though. 2-2 is a nice score to take advantage of home.  Bayern Munich really have great players but Tuchel just can't do what he has in his mind exactly. I really liked Musiala and Sane today but it was still not enough for a win. Ancelotti has done all he can in the game to secure a draw because he knows how hard it is to defeat Bayern Munich at home in the Champions League. This draw is an advantage for Madrid because they will do everything in their power to win the match in the second leg at Santiago. Bayern could have used the chances they wasted in the match well to win this match, but unfortunately, playing against Madrid is not as easy as we think that is why I can’t blame them because they played all they can. I did expected Kane to score a lot of goals during his Bundesliga tenure as well, but even with Kane being such a great player, I did not expected him to score THIS much, he did very well.
I do agree that his "curse" is more than a joke now and I feel like him not winning is quite funny (to us of course, not to him) but we can't blame him for that, he did all he could and he tried his very best, he scored way more than what we expected of him to score. If he scored a bit more he almost broke over the Bundesliga record that Lewandwoski has, so that means that whatever Bayern Munich had trouble this season long, it was not his mistake and he didn't cause any of it, he did what he should and rest of the team basically failed him at the end so he wasn't responsible for their loss.
Harry Kane is a great striker that has struggled and survived in teams like Tottenham that is not of the same standard with Munich and he scored as many goals as possible and he is usually because the top scorer by scoring goals more than the top team’s strikers in the Premier League then. I do agree that we are going to end up with Real Madrid winning in any normal case, and that is what people are expecting for sure, a team that managed to beat City should be able to easily beat Bayern Munich and any other team they face at Finals as well.
However, this is football and you never know what you are going to get, it is almost always a bit of a shock when you face a team and I think it is quite clear that we may not get what we want at all times. We could always end up with a result that is shocking. Like for example Bayern getting a huge win, like 3-0 for example, yes when you hear about it that feels like that is an unlikely situation, but the reality is that we could get a win like that, football is filled with unexpected results.
Defeating Bayern Munich in the Champions is not always easy because they know how to play the Champions League football. Man City actually have a comfortable away win today, it’s an impressive performance and a good sign of title charge with amount of goals being scored in the match. One obstacle has be jumped successfully but we have Tottenham to determine the title ambitions since they will play against both Arsenal and City, but I am very confident that City might lose point along the line because they are also under pressure.
