First of all, Kimmich is definitely not a cheap player, and he definitely doesn’t fit this criterion for Barcelona. Secondly, the conflict was only because of Tuchel, and since Tuchel is going to leave the team, Kimmich has nothing to worry about, he can continue to play in Bayern. One of Xavi’s conditions was the transfer of Kimmich, perhaps this was done for a reason, perhaps there were already some kind of informal negotiations. Are Bayern ready to let Kimmich go?

Exactly I don’t think Barcelona are getting Joshua Kimmich again because of the change believed to happen on the managerial role. Barcelona had their best chance to prize him away from Bayern Munich in January when their was a salty relationship between the player and the coach. But right now with the news that Ralf Ragnick is going to take over I don’t see it happening again because he is a good fan of the German right back turn midfielder. He even tried to sign him at Manchester United.

Kimmich is already a full Bulgarian now and is experience will definitely be needed most especially with the likes of Muller and Nuer close to retirement, he could be the line between the older players and the younger ones.

Reportedly, Lewandowski still wants to stay at Barcelona and not go to the Saudi League or MLS at the end of the season. It seems that Lewandowski is very confident in being a mainstay for the Blaugrana and even though he is old, it is clear that his experience will still be useful here. Xavi certainly asked him to stay rather than let him go, especially since the club doesn't have a veteran striker like him.

This is good news for Barcelona because the club is definitely not in a financial position to actually buy a striker with qualities like Lewandowski right now. Although he is old he still is one of those dangerous players in front of goal and a key player to any club he plays for at the moment. His hat trick yesterday clearly shows how he is still important to the club and Xavi definitely will need do with his experience next season

This season, Manchester United, Brighton and Chelsea are very bad. However, we have seen some improvement in Manchester United's performance. And because of this Manchester United team is now in the sixth place in the points table. Even then we don't see the expected good performance from this team.

Brighton have had a very poor season this season. The team is 12th in the points table. Brighton have won just 11 out of 34 matches. This team has to fight hard even against weak teams. Brighton's main weakness is their defence. Brighton conceded 57 goals in 34 matches. If the defense was strong we could have seen this team in the top 5/6 of the table this season.

Firstly I will take Brighton out of the equation of not having a bright season like Manchester United and Chelsea. They are a traditional middle club that had a very good and successful season last time and qualify them to Europe, when middle table teams like this get to European competitions the expectations on them is high and as such they would be required to add to their squad quality players to stay compete for the top spots in the league and in Europe. But rather Brighton had to sell most of their star players with players like Mac Allister, goal keeper Sanchez and midfielder Moises Caicedo all leaving in the same Summer which should definitely have a negative impact on them and that’s why they struggling plus having to play in weekdays too.

As for Manchester United and Chelsea they both are a disappointment and will only wish the season ends fast and they kick start another one. I don’t even see why you say there is improvement on Manchester United, they have practically bin in that six position since the start of the season and are regularly bottling leads in games, I don’t see any improvement and frankly speaking a new structure at the club needs to established. The only positivity for them this season is seeing their young players getting valuable minutes and playing also well which shows that the future is bright for them
84  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Misunderstanding of Halving by Bitcoin enthusiast. on: April 30, 2024, 01:59:46 PM
If you look at the first advice every old investors will tell you about this investing in this crypto space it is always invest what you can afford to lose, you will see that it is clear that no matter how you much a coin or investment is predicted or speculated to yield a profit sometimes it undergoes bearish correction that mostly take longer time than expected.

Investing what you can afford to lose doesn’t mean you will lose the money most especially if it is bitcoin but rather it gives you the opportunity to be able to stay patient for a long period of time should history doesn’t repeat it self.

Halving has been way too over hyped by most newbies to cause price rise, although it is a strong catalyst to a long bull run but it occurrence doesn’t mean a bull run will kick start immediately. In the past halving it takes months before the paradigm shifts of market to the bullish period and we are just two weeks into this halving of a thing so I don’t expect the market to react as many are anticipating. What the market is doing right now is simply making corrections on the rise that happened right before the halving.
85  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should trades be closed only when the market is bullish? on: April 30, 2024, 01:44:29 PM

If you are only doing spot trading, of course don't sell your assets n losing positions. Just be patient and wait for price to get into your favor. If only you have more patience to wait, you'll gonna make more money. But if you are trading futures or with leverage, make sure you have the stop loss so you can protect your capital from bleeding because your stop loss will serve as the invalidation of  your trade idea and you don't want to lose all your money just because of that one trade.

You see trading is not just pushing buttons for buy and sells. It's also managing your emotions so that you won't make stupid decisions when you are waiting for the right moment to buy/sell.

It definitely depends on the type of trade OP is talking about. For a spot trader once the market is undergoing a bearish correction it is best advised to stop selling and then start buying the coins which you have strong convictions on, this counts as part of DCA method too. But should you decide not to buy more then leave the trade as it is in spot so as not to close on loss.

As for future or perpetual trading you can simply trade on any different type of market once you have the essential knowledge. You usually play long on bullish period and go short during bearish periods. It is also worth knowing that even within this different period both long and short trades can take place most especially for daily traders.

But if you’re a less knowledgeable person it is not advised to trade during this as it might require you setting a tight stop loss which is essentially for the knowledgeable traders

You cannot delete your account yourself, I think you need to actually PM the admin/moderator to help with that. Since your reason seems tangible (privacy related), I think you might stand a chance but it’s hard though.

If also your problem is the email, you can easily change that to a throwaway email address that isn’t related to you. You can go to the account related settings Under your profile to do that.

Conte is rumoured with every team these days as it seems.  Tongue  However I'm not surprised at all of course. In the end Conte is one of the best options who are free agents right now. It is normal to see many big teams going after him this summer. But I'm curious about what his plans are these days.

If Conte would like to return to Italy then I also think he could sign for Napoli. Napoli are in a really desperate condition now. They really need a manager like Spalletti from now on. Conte is a great candidate. However if he goes to the Premier League I wouldn't be against it either. He had good achievements with Chelsea.  Smiley

The both clubs you mentioned are definitely two good clubs that desperately need a top tier coach like Antonio Conte but I will prefer he goes to Napoli ahead of Chelsea reasons been that first he just left Chelsea rivals Tottenham without any significant impact and he might need do away from the environment at the moment. Secondly Conte doesn’t know how to manage young players which are definitely what are packed in Chelsea squad at the moment.

For Chelsea their choices of both Mourinho and Conte is not that good to me, they need a long term coach that can build a team around young players. This two coaches cannot stand the nuisance of this young Chelsea players and might be requesting for older signings. Also both of them do not stay beyond three seasons in a club before they start their tour to another club again

What a hilarious goal keeper for sure. Onana did it again by giving a giveaway penalty to the burnley after he was contesting the loose ball in the air. Onana slapped burnley player's face. No doubt that penalty given by the referee to the burnley. Antony's goal could bring united to get three points but onana was fuckin doin it again.
What an awful goal keeper. Im sure he will be punching his opponents in another moment. This goal keeper sometimes play good but i'd liked to call him as another meguire. Even meguire was not performing as bad as him.

I was rarely seeing meguire doing blunder. It seems he has learned some things to make sure he will stay in united for another season.

Anybody that saw Onana’s fault in that match didn’t watch the match or is just been biased in their Judgement towards him. Onana at the start of the season was poor but in some games now Onana he kept united in every game. This particular match he made a three saves in the first half to keep them an 0-0 and then came on to make another two world class saves again in the second half.

The penalty that we are all talking about why hasn’t anyone blamed Casemiro yet for his poor defensive clearance. He Should have headed the ball towards Onana without any pressure on the ball and Onana had no choice but to hurriedly come out of his post for the ball and then ended you clamping down the player.
89  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: After Binance: BYBIT and BITGET. on: April 27, 2024, 04:51:34 PM

FG should just license this exchanges and regulate their activities instead of trying to pull Nigerians away from those exchanges and all these things are what is tarnishing our images outside the country.

That’s one of the things that this government wants to do but some of the laws laid down to meet before they get registered and regulated are things that these exchanges cannot comply with. This is not a Nigeria thing alone, if you look at also some of these top countries you hardly see these exchanges too in their country due to the same reasons of not meeting the criteria for the regulations. Some of the reasons are disclosing the KYC details of Their customers to the government. This is part of the reason also that binance had issues with Nigeria government not only the manipulation case, the government accused them of been involved in money laundering which we know is a bigger case. The news around Bybit and Bitget is not that strong yet so i don’t think they will clamp them down
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should only hold Bitcoin on: April 27, 2024, 04:15:55 PM
While you have mentioned some great points I can guarantee that diversification of your crypto portfolio or just investment portfolio holds some of its own advantages. Such as having reduce your risks. If one coin is not doing well you can expect to still gain profit from the other. Bitcoin is not always stable and is constantly fluctuating. So it’s good to explore what else is in the horizon but if you feel safe enough in just investing in one coin the be my guest.

I disagree with your opinion here, I don’t see investing in other coins aside bitcoin as diversification of one’s portfolio. My reason is when you talk of diversification you look for another assets that doesn’t have connection with the other one, the Market movement doesn’t correlate with each other. Now look at bitcoin and other Altcoins, tell me a coin that doesn’t move in accordance with bitcoin movement? None, the only difference is they are more volatile than bitcoin, they move higher than it and go lower than it during bearish periods. This to be isn’t diversification but rather you gambling to maximize profits. Do you tell me that should bitcoin hit the dust today any coin will survive the fall?
91  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 26, 2024, 10:44:34 PM
Bayer Leverkusen will play in the match against VfB Stuttgart today. It won't be easy to defeat VfB Stuttgart because this team is one of the top teams in Bundesliga. However, the match will be held in Leverkusen home, Leverkusen must try to win the match. Since Leverkusen has the advantage in this match, I also think Leverkusen will win the match. Or Leverkusen gets a draw at least.

With the league already won it is better now facing all this tough side. The unbeaten record is still a much sorted goal for Xabi Alonso and his men. Should he achieve that remarkable achievement then he would be the first to do that. My major concern is Alonso risking to rest players before Thursday game against Roma, he would be tempted to rotate and could affect the game plan. Stuttgart on the other hand have nothing to prove in this campaign again, they are already in the champions league come next season but they will want to be the club that beat Bayer Leverkusen.

I have just read Ralf Ragnick has been appointed as the head coach of Bayern Munich. Could somebody hell ne confirm?

Not a bad idea considering that he had a very good experience with Leipzig in the past but past job with Manchester United was more of a nightmare or disappointment in his CV. I hope with a well structured team like Bayern Munich he might be able to implement his philosophy
92  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 26, 2024, 10:27:42 PM
I had way different candidates in my mind honestly. So I must say that I'm surprised to hear about Liverpool's choice. Arne Slot has had a good run with Feyenoord so far. However he doesn't have any Premier League history.

It is really difficult to predict what he can do with Liverpool for now as a result. It isn't easy to fill the space of a coach like Klopp. However I don't want to be prejudiced. There are some Dutch players in the squad too so maybe they can help Arne Slot adapt quicker.  Smiley

I think this decision so early by Liverpool to me is perfect, they were actually after Rúben Amorim the Sporting Lisbon manager but his signature is looking to be a headache for them as even the likes of West Ham United also interested, I love the way Liverpool switch which stretching much in there and possibly end up wasting their time. Arne Slot has done a great job at Feyenoord but he will definitely be under pressure to manage Liverpool. This is in no way associated to the reason that he hasn’t managed any premier league club before even the Klopp himself who left a legacy here came without any premier league experience with Dortmund his biggest club managed. But yet he delivered with the support he had.

So right now what Liverpool fans need is to give him their support and not put him under any early pressure for success it might be a bit tough at first because he also coming to meet a shattered team that needs rebuilding
93  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: April 26, 2024, 10:14:52 PM

Resting most of their attacking players and rotating them with reserves was risky for Madrid today but in the end they still managed to give it their all and get the 3 points back.
The Bigger risk would have been starting the big guns, who needed enough rest and recovery after a hectic past few games, and they end up injured with UCL and Bayern Munich around the corner.

This is a risk I think all Madrid fans needs to consider that Ancelotti would have definitely taken. The game it self was moved to today just to allow them rest for the bigger game on Tuesday. Ancelloti not looking to rotate his players today would have even be a more risk option self. I don’t understand the fuss, if the remaining players on the bench cannot afford to win this type of games then they don’t deserve to be in the team.

It’s only three games left to win for Madrid to be crowned champions of Spain out of the remaining five. I think it should be a  little bit easy now with this win over Real Soceidad.
94  Economy / Speculation / Re: After the dip in crypto, when are we expecting ath? on: April 26, 2024, 09:55:38 PM
With the information I gathered about cryptocurrency, I had interest and decided to buy some coins.
Being fully aware of the volatility of these coins, I was patient and did not panic as their were various degrees of ups and down and was told that this year is the best time to invest in crytocurrency due to the bitcoin halving which has taken place. I have been watching my coins dropping everyday in value thereby inducing fear in me as the value of what I invested has been on the continuous decline.
I do not know how soon they will begin to rise again.

The narrative you got about this year been the best year to invest might be quite misleading, yes the halving happened this year and before and immediately after it there is a dump and it’s one of the best time to buy. Then after the halving the narrative that bitcoin and cryptocurrency market at large increases is not that wrong but the reality is there is no specific time as to know when the bull run will come. So any one saying this year is not entirely correct because we might still be under consolidation or say correction.

So as you have been patient coming all the way, my advice would is to continue and hold your coins and take profits when they come, for now nobody is certain on the bull run, all the prices are just speculations base on past history
95  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Dangote: Forex shortage delays crude supplies on: April 26, 2024, 08:58:29 PM
This is one of the ways to know that the price of naira supposed to have been depreciated than what it currently is. Or the government do not want Dangote refinery to be importing crude oil from outside Nigeria?

Ideally there shouldn’t even be a need for Dangote refinery to even import crude oil from other countries to refine in the first place. The crude oil Nigeria produce even though its not high like some countries is definitely enough for not just Dangote refinery but to also refineries in the country should they start functioning. The reason why I think he is importing crude is possible because it is much easier to get than from our local.

Also just as you have said the crude exportation by Nigeria should be one of the things used to give Naira strength. This can easily be done by the government asking for naira during the exportation instead of the usual dollar used before. This create demand for Naira outside the country and might as well gives it strength or value
96  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 25, 2024, 03:59:35 PM

T's no hate and stuff but I don't think I like these overpaid and overhyped British Players to be honest. Marcus Rashford is a fucking twats, did you see how Garnacho played for Manchester United last night? I'm not even sure Marcus Rashford is Injured, for a professional player like him faking Injury? Is this how he intends making the list for the upcoming Euro's?

Rashford can go to hell. For Harry Maguire, do you know that goal he scored yesterday was offside? Lol! Nobody talked about it, why?
He Harry Maguire slows down the pace of the game with too much touches of the ball, he still lacks confidence, ( Thanks to Casemiro Yesterday ) Harry Maguire has no pace and for goodness sake, this is not the defender we want at Manchester United.

I agree with your list but Aaron Wan Bisakka should leave. It's all love you see but we need a better right fullback with enough ball deliveries Into the eighteen yard box. Jeremy Frimpong of Bayern Leverkusen would definitely do.

I don’t think a true Manchester United fan or a proper football fan who watches Manchester matches will ever place Gernacho below Rashford. The lad has been consistent to me and only needs to work on his scoring ability more and we might have a winger that scares defenders for more years to come. Same goes to Amad on the flank, he needs more minutes and seriously this last four to five matches are should be his trial games and we see how he takes them.

The reason why I haven’t placed Maguire on been sold yet is because we lack the financial capabilities to actually buy like 15 players in a single summer transfer and more like other desperate ones needs to come in. Mind you Maguire to me is a squad player and I am not pitching for him to start never. Same thought I have for Wan Bissaka but your suggestion of Frimpong is seriously better
97  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 25, 2024, 03:50:15 PM
For sure it will be a very important game for Leipzig and Dortmund , and it will be the most interesting game on the coming weekend.
Both teams want to win to get the official Champions League spot to be secured.
Hopefully Dortmund will win this game against Leipzig.

But maybe the 5th place also will be good for it because of the next season changes for the Champions League.
Rumors going around that there will be 5 spots for some Countries
Source : https://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/news/0268-12157d69ce2d-9f011c70f6fa-1000--new-format-for-champions-league-post-2024-everything-you-need-t/

As things stands now both to me are safe for the champions league football next season, because first none of them is looking to drop from the top 5 as they are points gap of 8 points between them. Also the fifth placed team will automatically qualify for the champions league football next season base on the new format of 36 teams coming. One of the remaining spots was awarded to the Bundesliga mainly because of the progress of Bayern Munich and Dortmund to the semis of the Champions league, and Bayer Leverkusen to the semis of the Europa league.

Regardless of this both team will want a fourth place finish or a win over the rivals to keep their ego
98  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: April 25, 2024, 03:31:22 PM

This is the payback Liverpool gets for parting ways with their best player ( Sadio Mane ) I don't want to jump into details but it serves them well.
The derby was indeed interesting, Virgil Van Dirk with so many excuses, he had also been far from good this season for Liverpool, not just your attacking players, Liverpool best defensive player had to be Konate but too many Injuries and inconsistency had been a big issue for him.

I feel like it's already over for Liverpool. Since the Fa Cup Competition knock out against Manchester United, they haven't been Ina good mood. Signing a top manager should be number one, so you don't repeat the same mistakes done by Manchester United after the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson.

Manchester City to drop points tonight against Brighton tonight, who says No?

Mane their best player? It’s arguable but for me I don’t regard any of them as the best player I think they compliment themselves the trio of Mane-Firmino-Salah and the division of the trio was the cause of problems. Even of it wasn’t Mane that left but anyone leaving would have disrupted the whole attacking trio.

This season they are many things to point a finger at, like not having a compact midfield like they do have in the past with the departure of Fabinho mostly especially seen to me as a mistake because Thiago Alcantara was just that injury prone to depend on. The replacement were more of a convert than natural DMs and it wasn’t flowing at all.

Also it is no news that Klopp didn’t have a plan B other than Arnold fling in those crosses and immediately he went out injured they were dead on moving the ball. They tried to change the pattern but the young kids used couldn’t stand to play all those minutes. So when Manchester United found a way through them it became an ease for the other teams to trespass too.

Klopp will be leaving as Club legend regardless of what but his replacement should be thought of carefully and also the fans should at least for now lower their expectations next season so as to reduce pressure on the team and rather focus on rebuild than immediate success
99  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Don't sell in loss on: April 25, 2024, 03:13:49 PM
First of all the table it self needs updating, you can fill in that of year 2023 which had a closing price of $42,200 (you can do your research and confirm for an accurate price) and lowest price would be that $16,537.

Now to the main post I think the bull run as always been predicted to come months after the halving, base on past history many predicted the last quarter of the year to kick start it. The reason why they were different speculations later was because of the mini bull run we had that caused even a new all time high this according to many experts is based on the approval of ETF as the institutions went big on buying and it increased the demand that got the price increased.

What I will say do not follow predictions that bitcoin will raise in so so months just have a price target and if it reaches there then take your profits. This requires patience and that’s why from onset the idea was to invest what you can afford to win. Bitcoin might not even follow all the speculations on it but with patience it will definitely come to your profit level
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving Event [2024], Reality! on: April 25, 2024, 02:37:40 PM
I went through all the replies on my thread and unfortunately, it looks like none of them can offer any solution. Sadly, no one here wants to think out of the box, it is a known fact that Ordinals have jeopardized the way Bitcoin transactions used to be before. They will do such spamming in the future unless the developers think again about what they did and come up with a solution. This is not what I expected and envisioned about Bitcoin neither did Satoshi, do you think he/group thought that such a situation would happen in the future?

The solution isn’t simple as you think because it requires community consensus. The first will be to increase the block size css this will allow more transactions per block and also increases the throughput. This solution has long ago be abolished as many think it will cause the network security reduction, that’s why we even got to the place of using Segwit addresses.

The other solution is actually fixing the exploit in the protocol that allows ordinals transaction into the network. This solution is widely debated on because some people are of the opinion that it is share censorship and as such is going against the Bitcoin protocol, while Others are saying it is not. To me the reason why this is still a problem is because some set of users are definitely gaining from this exploit and a consensus will not be reached easily except it persists to an extremely unbearable degree
