LOL gotta love YourM0ther. Not only does he not understand what a proxy is but he is also unable to format a post correctly. Hows your drk audit going idiot?

You are still a dumb bitch, just like i left you. First, that ISP change was a joke, fuckface! Second, my ip is dinamic, but i reconnect in vain, because that fucker banned the last three groups for i don't know how long . Third, i mentioned Tor, stupid hoe. Fourth, that audit must be running good, cunt, but where did i mentioned DRK in this thread ? Stop with DRK already. In fact stop comparing a shitcoin with darkcoin. Please, you are making yourself look like a newbie. Fifth, check the volume on this garbage. It tells you that it's going back into the shitter, aka 15-17k. Sixth, i hope you realize that the post was intentionally formatted like that. Seventh...

BITCH PLEASE

This is incredibly pathetic and loathsome. Ignored.

I'm going to devote a few hours tomorrow to providing some roadmap and milestones, and let you all know what has been going on behind the scenes. There's a lot to cover.

Buying VIA tonight

Yeah people tend to get hyper emotional with alts.  Cloak is a neat coin and all, but it did see its post-launch pump and charts are charts, all things being the same I would think it will continue a downward trend over a long period of time, like Bitcoin/Litecoin/DRK/BC/every other coin before it.  ...Until one day it potentially sees the mega pump (a la BC).  What I keep thinking of in the back of my mind as a corollary is Quark coin.  Quark followed a very similar type of path.  Launched beginning of summertime, saw a small pump, then long period of declining prices and accumulation, and then the big winter rally.  But that was because somebody accumulated a lot and put the effort into promoting it.  So what I am hoping, is that if/when the dev team delivers in September, it is a positive signal to external forces and then we see more outward promotion and it sees a cycle like Quark.  Of course, after the winter holidays last year we all know where Quark went.  Unfortunately that seems to just be the way the alt markets work.  To some degree I suppose it is debatable if that is what we have seen in Bitcoin as well, and perhaps we are on the downward side of the great Bitcoin pump and dump of 2013.

Of course my above paragraph of commentary pre-supposes that one's only focus or interest is in price going "very very high!" </fyrstikken voice off> but aside from that I could see Cloak gaining wider regular usage by people as...*ahem* a currency and not a commodity.  A counterpoint to that argument however is that other coins have also implemented markets that...see no use.  So I have to assume that most people's interest is just in price going "very very high!" </fyrstikken voice off> Cheesy  But remember, it is a zero sum game, every time the price goes very high, somebody is buying at that price, and becomes the new bagholder filled with emotion and anxiety on the other side....

...but then again maybe I'm the fool.  I don't think we will ever see $1000 bitcoin again, I think the price will trend to around $100 over the next 6-12 months unless someone decides to pump it again.

I think you are wrong for the most part.

Firstly mega-pump does not exist, you have just made up this term because you thought it sounds cool and professional. I can assure you, it does not. It is and it was always pump and dump, whales and sharks playing with the small fish. If you know the mechanics and can play by their terms, "swim by their sides", you may achieve high amount of profit in a short period of time.

Secondly, Quark was a very nice startup at the end of last year, with great features and active developers. The coin was even analysed by Max Keiser in one of his reports. It wasn't a sole pump and dump after-all, the price still hasn't fallen back to the original levels -- i.e. before-the-pump-levels -- but yes in the long term it will tend to decrease a lot since the devs have left and there are no new features or ideas invested into QRK. Shame.

Thirdly, the altcoin-markets are massive test terrains for future currencies -- if you haven't noticed this trend already -- most will die, some may prevail. Therefore, yes you were mostly right about this, there is a fast rise in case of most coins and a long fall-back period -- which may be not as long in most cases because we all know how many scam-coins are around these days.

And last but not the least, in my opinion BTC is just maturing -- complete maturity is still a far cry though, it may take a decade or more --, there is more fuss in the news about it every day. We are in an era of mass adoption by the public. More and more people can reach it; even more important, gain knowledge of its existence. I don't believe we will see the price going below $400 any time soon -- except if another flash dump happens but that's not a long term price. In the long term I think we will see many more ATHs followed by price decreases but IMHO $700k/btc in a decade or so is not impossible at all.

Well, I hope I have covered all your points, looking forward to your response. BTW your chart in the next post is less than childish.

And Huh This literally proves nothing.

Hi everyone!,
Just a quick question. I am not sure if it has been asked before.
How do I convert my VIA to XCH?

In clearwallet.co just send over some VIA to your wallet, then use the dropdown to "convert to XCH".

Sorry if this has been asked a million times, but what is the benefit if converting to XCH. Im just checking out VIA to see if its a coin I want to invest in. Thank you.

OK so the conclusion is BT is a scam as well...

See,that is the kind of feedback I love seeing. People making decisions on their own without humdrumming about. If you feel something is a scam, don't muck about, just say it out loud and stand by your decision. BT is not a scam and not a Ponzy, and the beauty of p2p is that the more trust is built over time the more a company will be trusted. I would like to turn the tables a bit and ask for hard evidence that Bitcoin Trader is indeed a ponzy, and solid proof that we don't do arbitrage trading. In all fairness, all the evidence anyone on here has given is merely speculation and conclusions based on interpretations from a lack of evidence. So I will personally give a $100 reward for undeniable hard evidence that Bitcoin Trader is a Ponzy scheme.

I'll give 1000$ for evidence that it is not. Because if its not, and i can safely invest all my money there, then after a year of reinvestment I'd have passive income enough to live the live I always wanted. You wont believe how much i want it to be a true business (i think the fact that i'm spending this much time on this is a clear indication for that)

But the problem in my case is that my greed often failed me, because i was relying on lack of evidence that something is a scam instead i should rely only on facts that it is not. And unfortunately there are no facts, right now I dont see any legitimate business to earn passive income buy investing my money.

Ahh, good ole greed. Hasnt that bitch cost us all.

So, where is the proof that the devs left the team? NO PROOF
where is the proof that they dumpd coins? NO PROOF

No one says that devs dump and leave. Only persons who dump and leave are those with weak hands / minds.

The streets are filled with blood, cloakcoin blood.

88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain - LAUNCHED! on: August 23, 2014, 03:58:42 AM
Because all the small nickle-players hate it when somebody is less priced than they are, so they keep fighting to undercut each other. Also, it seems some people like to sell low just so they can complain that they are loosing money and expect to get subsidized.

Only the smart people realize that if you put your price HIGHER than the current market price and just wait, the guy in front of you will get sold CHEAPER than you and then when your turn comes - you get PAID.

So, don't expect the price to rise until the dumb ones sell themselves out. But after they are sold out, expect to see them in here with large font and carnival colors telling us all about it.

why price of SYS so bad?HuhHuh?

I was just going to read through this thread. I lost interest in the coin once the dev team really messed up the launch. Now I see all sorts of wallet issues? And then this guys quote above me LOL brightest of the bright. Glad I didnt bother to get involved with this coin. If the dev team cant handle a launch, its okay, but not for me.

Take your time Devs! Anyone who has ever launched anything whether it be from a business to a clothing line, there always seems to be minor hiccups at launch time. 2 Hours is nothing! Sheesh people have some faith!

Will be coin be ready to trade at 730 or 8pm pst?

Way to fuck up the momentum

I must agree, this really dampened any momentum I felt for the release. I wouldnt have minded to wait a couple days till the dev team was actually ready.

nice to see been listed at mintpal and bittrex at the same time!

Will syscoin go live on moolah, mintpal, and bittrex together, or will 1 exchange get a head start on this coin?
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain - Presale SOLD OUT! Launch Aug16 on: August 15, 2014, 09:01:33 PM
anyone can guess the prices when this coin add to exchange ? Grin

40,000 sat is where it will open.

that's my educated guess

and you can mine them here: http://sys.lifeforce.info (open now for registrations)

Im not familiar with sats unit rate. How much is that in USD & btc? I heard there is a push to dominate BTC in satoshis from now on. I think its a good idea, I rather have millions of sats then a few coins, even if its exactly the same. I believe thats how it would work.

So do people think this coin will rise or fall upon release? A few days after release?

0.0004 sat*300 million coins=120,000 btc*490$(bte-c rate at the time of posting)=$58,800,000

WOAH!! 59 million market cap is very ambitious. I really doubt that estimate. That would place this coin 3rd over all in market cap. Extremely bullish, I must say, that seems very unlikely. Im going to invest about 2 btc bcuz I like this coin but I certainly dont expect that big of a jump. Im fact I would not be surprised if price dips for a couple days after the launch.

I would say a 2-4 million marketcap in the first few days. I doubt the price will drop below the early bird ICO price, but again cryptos defy logic Cheesy

I think that's far more reasonable than 59 million. This is a good coin, but so was/is keycoin. It was pumped and dumped like hell tho. I hope this coin can avoid that. I know the devs promised price support but how can we know they will actually support the price? And how far are they will to go to support a certain price?

2 Billion coin... Bitcoin fork... Scrypt mining... Crazy IPO price... Still presale sold out...! What is wrong with you people???
Why encourage these craps...? Are you all throwing away ur BTC's just for a phrase 'Business on the blockchain??? Grow up

Wait until release, there is tons of value add there. Even read the code if you have to to be convinced.

I agree the coin will probably rise in price once it hits the market, who really knows tho, but isnt the price kind of high for a 2 billion coin market? Most billion coin markets start off with .0000000 range not .00000 range

With the 20% commission, the two curves indicate a preference for 1.6% and 1.3%. The numbers appear naturally distributed, the only comment would be about the product details numbers which are not indicative of the results.

Very comprehensive work.

I am not a pro. How do you interpret this sentense? What does it say to you?

BombaUcigasa, I'd like to know more about your personal opinion and how you interpret this data as well. It doesn't say much on it's own.
The data doesn't say much, so far shows only the issue with the two time periods and the difference in profits, I was trying to "catch" them by noticing leaked statistical ambiguities in their numbers, there is no statistical indication that the numbers are cooked, but I was also unable to identify the method they use for profit-taking. It looks like they bet on price changes with open short or long positions (like forex) and they sometimes close on a profit or loss when the price moves rapidly. This could be made by a simple automated bot, 24/7, no need for hired day traders, but I digreess.

While customers might be misled into believing they get higher profits (more than 1.3% on average), they can check the calendar and get an idea of what the profits would look like.

looking at the results the curve is broken in the two time periods, before April and after April

they are saying they opened a new office in china and hired two new trader for implementing chinese exchanges in their system. the result of that, they claimed were flater results and less negative trading results. that could be the explanation for that and not a secret at all.
That's very nice of them, but with greater stability comes greater loss of profits. I personally would design my service to have better average profitability and mask variance by carrying results from the previous day (like mining pools operate). This would give the same profitability as the previous period while preventing negative days.

Anyway, my position stands as before, I can't tell if the operation is honest or if it's a ponzi. It matches real trading more, and it would require greater difficulty to operate it as a ponzi.

Excellent unbiased analysis. I love seeing that here. Im the person that post bi-monthly reports of how my 139 trading funds are doing. So far so good. I dont have any problem with someone saying this is a scam, or not. But I see no evidence from anyone, so an unbiased analysis is always welcome. This COULD be a scam, just as much is it COULD NOT be. If that makes anyone uneasy please dont invest in it. Its that simple. After my funds expire in Nov, I probably wont invest in it again. I would have made roughly 60-85% of my investment back though, onto of my original investment. I invested in it originally because I read the entire thread and many people on here received their investment back without a hitch, on top of tremendous payouts. I would still say though, invest ONLY what you can afford to lose entirely.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When we will be able to watch the movie? [The rise and rise of bitcoin] on: August 14, 2014, 11:09:52 PM
Its been months since its "official" release and still no movie for the general audience? I can't find the movie anywhere on-line. Any have a link or anything? I want to see the movie but i honestly feel its going to be out dated at this point. The more time that passes the less likely ill watch it.

I am no longer doing weekly updates on my shares 139 shares. I will be doing either bi-weekly or monthly. The amount of incoherent rambling on this thread is intolerable. Here is the update, everything is going very smoothly still.

https://i.imgur.com/1vGn2jN

By Nov. 23rd I should have my initial investment. BT Trader could be a scam, no doubt. For me, its within an acceptable degree of risk for my 4 btc. Again, only invest what you can afford to lose. Some people here seem to have forgotten that this is my money, not yours. If I lose it, so be it. So far though, you have missed 8 months of spectacular returns.
