81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Cash Mount A Real challenge To Ripple and Ethereum on: September 19, 2019, 08:44:47 PM
I dont believe bitcoin cash can beat ethereum. Everyone knew that ethereum have great feature, and everyone also knew that ripple have many adoption and implemented in some country such as japan. Everyone knew that bitcoin cash just fork of bitcoin, not so much feature and technology delivered by bitcoin cash. Need more features and adoption if bitcoin cash want to beat ethereum and ripple
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Btc is 1st then? Other Alts? on: September 18, 2019, 03:00:07 AM
For now yes ethereum become second large marketcap. As we knew many people use eth because of

1. Support smart contract
2. Fee transaction more lower
3. Fast

I read about smart contract for bitcoin, but i dont think it will success. Logically it should sucess with bitcoin based smart contract, why?
1. Bitcoin is pioneer and number one in crypto for now
2. Huge communities
3. Many merchant
4. etc

What coin will become third, fourth etc?
I still believe with ripple, stellar and ltc. They have their own business and innovations.
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Identify Cryptocurrency Scams on: September 16, 2019, 05:59:36 PM
I have my own qualifications to identify scams and project who will become fail, for example there's coin launched around two weeks ago in altcoin announcements. I give him comment, and they replied my comment. From those post, if you think like i think. You will predict that those coin will become failed project and then it's true now. I saw in coinmarketcap that their coin only have few thousand marketcap, and trade volume so small. I believe that this project won't survive more than 8 month.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Would you participate in new project if it is not listed in ICO rating websites? on: September 16, 2019, 05:52:08 PM
My reason to invest and participate in ICO project is not depend on ico rating. After i learned so much, i made ico qualification for my own. If my qualification not passed by an ico, whatever their rating in ico rating i won't invest and praticipate. But if my qualification passed by ico, i will participate.

I just use ico rating website for second opinion, not my first way. Nowadays you should not believe what other people say, just learn how to digg more information,  learn business feasibility, and do some fake test, so it would help you so much
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think advisors help new projects? on: September 16, 2019, 12:33:10 AM
It's depend on advisors it self, are they used for brand/marketing only? are they used to make project looks greatin first appereance?

Sure on their web, they will give position to their advisors. However we can not know what is function of advisors on a project. Are they really help project to find investor or announce project to their network? Only internal team know this issue.

I also still looking way to knwo about this
Advisors can function on both ways and it would always have that kind of pay.We cant really be sure if they do only focus out on one point or just tending to do overall works.
Im aint saying that these people arent that effective yet there are famous advisors known by the public and somewhat their current popularity and reputation does also act
some sort of initial marketing with the project but of course it do have corresponding additional pay with that talking on projects success or relevance will not vary with these people.
They can give out inputs or insights but as said there's no such weight with that.

Correct. Most of investor think advisor will help project to reach better market, reach their goals, or get more investor (in 2017 case), but most of advisor just paid for just a fame figure.

Now, there's ico called as azbit and have cool advisor such as roger ver. If we back to 2017 mindset, most of people will think that roger ver will make azbit as second utility for bcash, or will promote azbit to bcash community. But for now, i think roger ver only as fame figure for azbit and won't do much for azbit. However I don't said this is bad ico, this is just for study case

I also got offered as business developer for an ico one years ago, ico owner give me their profile teams. At first, i thought this project will have good market and i really like their roadmap and they also have good vision. There's an advisor who become key (ico owner said), because he has ISO certificate for aeroplane. This is awesome rights?

What happened next? When i request to ico owner to propose a help from advisor to make busines offer to aeroplane industry, this advisors become useless. I don't know is this advisor is just fake profile nor not, at the time.

86  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Exchange Alternatives - What Are The Best Ones Out There? on: September 15, 2019, 02:45:42 AM
Reading about your blog, and i guest it's good, and good way to reach more members. Nowadays many company launch their exchange, and personally before i used new exchange i will check their
- Legal issue, i need to know about legal issue and also their team behind the services
- test customer support, will joining as member (passive member) and make small issue/test to know their performance.
- and also security, but this is not my field so wait review from trusted member. but i have my own standart security to pass

Sometimes i choose lose around $3 upto $10 to test rather than lose more fund
87  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is anyone here that has referrals on any exchange? on: September 15, 2019, 02:08:33 AM
I did in some exchange. Is it really make $$ ? it's depend on your refferal, i got good refferal so i made money from them. If they are use exchange continously maybe you can get little money, but if they only register and never trade on the exchange so you will got nothing.

Some new exchange offer few coin to bring customer on their exchange, you but to get your refferal need to pass KYC. I never reffer to untrusted and brand new exchange because i dont want make my follower disapointed
88  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency and blockchain adoption on: September 15, 2019, 01:08:47 AM
This is great news for blockchain industry. But in my opinion blockchain adoption will not give big impact to cryptocurrency price, it give big impact for blockchain technology. For example, goverment can implement blockchain technology for their own purpose but not provide cryptocurrency to use in their internal or public use.

Personally, with major adoption is proof that crypto rely on blockchain and many institution adopt blockchain so many people think cryptocurrency stand on strong background which adopted by many institution
89  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How using Tor Browser increases bitcoin theft? on: September 14, 2019, 06:06:30 PM
I believe that something connected to internet will increase any theft or illegal activity. But i believe with tor browser it self, and not suspect it if i download/using tor browser from real developer. But i will suspect if i download browser from not trusted website/developer. For example, download from fishy website, so i wont used it. Worry if those browser include with keyloger,or something malware placed by fishy developer.
90  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Satoshi Posts on: September 14, 2019, 05:56:38 PM
Bitcoin was uploaded to sourceforge by satoshi, and so far i knew that the only proof of real sathoshi is using his private key/wallet sign/genesis block (not really know about it).

Do you think this is enough to proof real satoshi
1. Login to sourcefoge, if anyone can login or edit something in main bitcoin sourceforge
2. Login to mail account in that already registered in sourceforge
3. proof with his technical code, in this case not using private key, wallet sign, or etc

Let say email or account can be hacked, but technical code is not easy to hack right? is this imposible to do because of bitcoin is open source and everyone who want to claim satoshi have learn those code?
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins ever come back again on: September 12, 2019, 02:39:38 PM
This is bit hard for altcoin to come back again. I just think only top 50 altcoin on cmc who can come back but it also depend on their business plan. If top 50 altcoin on cmc can build success business, it's posible to come back again or even beat bitcoin.

HODL small altcoin for long term investmen is not my type, it's better to hold companys stock rather than altcoin. Small altcoin only suitbale for short term investment.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how do you identify a transparent project team? on: September 12, 2019, 12:09:53 PM
interesting question here, i also still looking the best way about this. But so far i will look at their profile team, they must have below

1. Social media such as twitter, LK or facebook. Their social media must be active before ico/ieo launched, for me minimum time i 1 year.
2. Google, when i search on google their name must be there. Which means it's not hard to find them. Let say one of their team have name "mikel adol njamu", if you try to search on google so you will not find any last activities of this user, and any related information to those queries. Avoid this ico/ieo if their team like this.
3. Look at information you have from no 1 until no 2, are they background really interested?? If that's interested so you can continue to their ico/ieo
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin get banned worldwide? on: September 12, 2019, 11:57:09 AM
Because of pseudonymous so goverment implement regulations to bitcoin and crypto. Bitcoin is decentralized system it wont easy to ban bitcoin, let say one country sucessfull banned bitcoin but there's no warranty that existing people not trade or mine bitcoin and also there are so many country still not success. Decentralization and pseudonymous completely make developer, user, and community spread over the world and work together
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reinvesting on Bitcoin after losing on: September 11, 2019, 06:15:08 PM
Quote

95  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you protect your cryptocurrency from thefts? on: September 11, 2019, 06:07:11 PM
I guest this is something diffrent between exchange wallet and personal wallet. Sometimes exchange warn us to not store all digital asset in their wallet, because they are worry too. Exchange is potential target to hack, if you trust exchange it was your fault.

I just use exchange to trade not to keep my coin and hodl because i dont believe them. Everytime i trade and got profit i will send to my private wallet except i want to double my capital in exchange. I protect my wallet with several way such as using hardware wallet and keep private key in my house.

I never publish my private address to internet, and my private address never submit to any platform on the net.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Promoting BTC via art on: September 11, 2019, 05:52:13 PM
Agree with you in this topic give some proof that people using bitcoin(lot of bitcoin) to buy artwork. But it doesn't mean promoting btc via art only, and as bitcoin enthusiast i also build some plarform or business that only accept payment using bitcoin. However this is only work for digital business(my business), when i tried to implement payment only using bitcoin it's not sucess.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ICO rating websites we can use on: September 10, 2019, 06:43:36 AM
You can used icobench to check team and also expert review. But seriously this is not guarantee that project won't fail or become sucess project. For now your only can relied to your research. Learn their business process, business plan, and also ecosystems. If you feel that project is not feasible so do not invest and don't doubt

99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the US Government Trying To Control Crypto? on: September 10, 2019, 01:34:48 AM
Government cannot control or stop any crypto because of decentralization. But it's possible to control third party platform such as exchange of ico, because they are not decentralize (except dex). They only control service provider, not crypto it self.

For binance, think it can be knife for them. In one side, this is their oppurtunity to gain crypto traders or investor from USA and proof crypto is another payment methods. In other side maybe US goverment can make any ridicolous demand to control them
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Roobee is a blockchain-based investment platform on: September 08, 2019, 07:07:52 PM
Great team behind your project, but your thread seems very quiet huh Cheesy. Can we test your MVP and also mobile platform? and what's the diffrent between your platform with other platform. I think if your platform just provide AI, that're no diffrent with others.
