@Claymore,

Is there any ETA on VEGA or POLARIS optimized XMR miner soon?
Thank you

Is a size 13 font with bold really needed? He already stated a few pages back that he will get to it when he has time (he is finishing up on a few ZEC and ETH things)

Heck my mining days might be coming to a close
Power company is inceasing rate by 7% starting July 1

Every year, our electricity goes up by 9%.

hi all
i face unstable current effective hashrate any comment or adding in command line?

Awaiting yr reply

I think you should change pool before anything else

Use Dwarfpool. For the past 10 days it is way more profitable than any other

Not just that .. There has been many rumors of flypool stealing shares on the server side (thereby looking like major hash rate fluctuations)

Eth nanopool dont send less 1 eth ?

I have 0.990039067 Eth mining yesterday , but today no send .

Nanpool ETH minimum payout is .2 ETH.  They payout every 6 hours (usually) although sometimes they have issues and a payout is delayed.

If you're mining to Poloniex, the balance will only show in your account once you have more than 1 ETC being deposited.

BTW, I moved all my rigs to selling hash at Nicehash Equihash/ZCASH and Cryptonite/XMR market to fully leverage the nice rise of BTC now at 809$. Poloniex and Shapeshift is taking too much from me over time - rather cut off all of that and go to Nicehash and get paid directly in BTC. It may work out to be the same but at least I get BTC upfront.

You're losing a considerable chunk of profit using nicehash. Mine directly to the exchange as exchanges pay network fees.

Thanks.. 5 x RX480's working with v9.2 without issues.

ZEC: GPU0 252.655 H/s, GPU1 250.847 H/s, GPU2 254.769 H/s, GPU3 253.092 H/s, GPU4 253.355
Which driver and settings you use ? I have me too 5 X rx 480 nitro and crash after 5 min.
Thank you

Why this miner is working for dev most of time?

This question has been answered before. The difficulty level of the dev fee is lower so there's more accepted shares, but they are worth less.
The difficulty of your own shares is higher, so they are worth more, so you get paid more but you need to have less accepted shares.

Extension Boards wont be in preorders.
We will start making them after first batch.

I'm ready to order. Where do i sign up Wink

Partly Windows IS that lame, partly limitation of the device drivers, partly that there are very few folks that run more than ONE card per machine so it is a very low priority for M$, AMD, or NVidia to bother trying to fix.

Best way to flash the cards is do ONE AT A TIME - only one in the rig you are using to flash them with - that way you only have to worry about bricking one card at a time, and can verify that the flash for each card worked.

I think Claymore mentioned that it isn't a Windows problem and more an OpenCL problem.
If it was a Windows issue, AB / Trixx etc would all show different orders of GPUs.

philipma1957 & citronick: What GPU's are you guys using and why?

i am a big fan of the rx 470 by mis

The RX480's come in at about the same price here. You recon it's worth going that route instead of the 470's?

6. I did share some basic pics on the GPU farm in this thread. I have started to streamline the GPU farm into Biostar Z170 4-PCI riserless format like Phil's

Is this the board? http://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/mb/introduction.php?S_ID=822

1. Labrador hosting is by kw/h metering (I dont have to worry about PSUs), so doesn't matter which miner uses what, I prepay 3 months in advance to get maximum discounts. They get Hydro power so if you have big time mining operations - you need to go to the cheapest power source to see profits. I get full remote access to the miners and also have my own subnet.

Hrmm.. Did everyone invest the same amount at the start?

Thanks, I can see this coming in handy.

3. I retired in Jan 2016 and my group (me and few close buddies) did some serious math .... begged our wives to allow us to do this project -- LOL  Grin--- we made a handsome return during the early ETH and BTC days. We already had about 3GHs ETH GPU farm back then (thanks to Claymore's magic)... that got us going and also got more informed about mining in general - just being smart in when to invest and when to hold coins.

Yeah my wife is eyeballing me daily Tongue Would you say it's too late to get into mining now?

4. My group has 108 x S9s, 120 x Avalon 7s.... about 2 PH farm. About 15GHs X11 farm and small Scrypt farm; 6 x A4s. Let's just say, the BTC & GPU farm pays the cheque..... and the X11 & LTC farm pays the operation (power, rental, etc). So yes, I think me and the group are enjoying our post retirement nicely and most importantly, the spouses are happy to see us learning new stuff/tech/friends...  keeping us busy instead of bumming around at home. Grin

How old are you gents? If you had to do it again, what would you do differently? Aren't the BTC miners a nightmare when they break?

5. Apologies my group is paranoid on security and sharing pictures. I am the Adminstrator for the project while the boys manages the Polo accounts, investments and wallets.

Perfectly understandable. What do you use to manage such a large farm?

6. I did share some basic pics on the GPU farm in this thread. I have started to streamline the GPU farm into Biostar Z170 4-PCI riserless format like Phil's - wished I had started like this earlier on -- it could have been so simple to manage and cheaper, rather than wasting hours troubleshooting why my 5th or 6th GPU doesn't work.... or why that blew the PSU and what not.

Urgh.. Those cards must get insanely hot when packed in so close together.. Surely that must push up the temp drastically?
What PSU are you using for those cards? I personally haven't had any issues with a 5th or 6th card. I'm using a Coolermaster 1200w PSU which is pretty decent.

There is the proof - https://i.imgsafe.org/949d2c9995.jpg

Got confused with temps and wrote them the other way around but it is what it is.

GPU1 is my RX 470.

That's why people were calling you on it as the numbers didn't make sense.
Now they do so everyone can move on. 220 h/s is quite normal.

He said the speed is 277H/s.

Yes, he got confused.. Let's move on..

Im getting 277 h/s with my RX 470 8gb.

One of my 290s is doing 290 h/s but the other does 220 h/s. Will need to investigate that.

Thanks claymore.

280 hash on 470. Yeah, sounds likely.

Probably it is liquid nitrogen cooled while running@1500/2250. Tongue

Actually the clocks on my RX470 are 1242/2000 and temp is currently 76 degrees with 68% fan. It is a modded bios though.

Like I said, I have two 290s and only one of them does 290 sols. The clocks on that card are 1050/1250 and it is not modded. Temp is 69 and fan 64%.

The other 290 does only 220 sols. The clocks on that are 1100/1250 and its not modded. Temp and fan are the same as the other one. I'm only monitoring them remotely now so I cant say much but will look into it.

All hashrates are confirmed by the pool by the way.

i don't understand why you guys are being hostile. I will take a screenshot and show it to you. I'm not trying to prove anything.

People are just naturally curious when other people's results don't match theirs. Feel free to post the evidence and don't take it personally.
