Money sent as a gift can and will be reversed if it was sent using a hacked PayPal or stolen credit card, which will probably be the source of the funds you'll be receiving if you sell for such a high markup. No one who's not going to chargeback would pay such a high markup, they'd just withdraw the cash and purchase from an exchange
