Do you wear your funny glasses?
Do you think I can't buy some beautiful Ray-ban?
What could one ask in response to such a question?

What is the cost of those beautiful Ray-bans?
84  Other / Off-topic / Re: What type of gamer are you? on: August 25, 2014, 01:38:27 PM
The type of gamer you are is based on which types of games you like. For example i like adventure games, therefore i am an adventurer, a friend of mine loves cars games so he's a drifter, another friend of mine is great at platform games so he's a platformer. Anyway, i want to see what types of gamers are there.

85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be bigger than Facebook on: August 25, 2014, 01:27:44 PM
I highly doubt BTC will have more users than FB>..because FB is used by everyone from kids to teens, adults and aged. And not everyone wants to use BTC

What about the likelihood of bitcoin replacing every currency in the world though?  At that point, even allowances would be given in bitcoin.
It would take a lot for bitcoin to potentially replace any fiat based currency that exists today, let along every fiat based currency. It really would not be able to replace currencies like the dollar, euro, british pound or the yen because their governments are so influential worldwide and would likely not accept anything other then their own local currency for payment of taxes.

But if everyone stopped using the fiat the government's own money would be useless, it wouldn't be accepted by others because nobody would be paid in it.  What do governments use taxes for, police, war, firefighters, infrastructure etc.

So let's say all of these workers are only using bitcoin, well the government can't pay them because they won't take it, it's worthless.  The government is already attempting to impose taxes upon BTC, why wouldn't you think they'll succeed?  Once they do I am pretty sure they won't care what money we use - the problem is the banks themselves who have the control over our government at the moment.

Check the proportion of female on this forum, and you'll k ow how many females vs males are using btc.

Not really a very good measure, considering that girls may tend to use a different medium to discuss BTC than forums.

88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the biggest problem in crypto currencies? on: August 24, 2014, 12:11:55 PM
What do you think is the biggest problem when you use crypto currencies for paying? It doesn't matter if you are developer, client that looks for services, newbie or pro. Is there something what needs to be solved and what slows down crypto currencies expansion? Thanks for you opinions.

The general psychology of humans and their lack of acceptance of anything new.  There are WAY too many things that the only way we can have change is to wait for the last generation to die out so that the problem either lessens or disappears...

Think: Gay marriage, racism (that one might take a while), allowing women to vote, murderous religions, and general xenophobia.  All of these things require generations to die off before us as a species being able to move on in the right direction.  I fear bitcoin may have a similar uptake, where all of our children will use it exclusively and there will still be old people ranting at a store when they no longer accept credit cards.

That Inked Emma girl is legit gorgeous. I wish I was BTC rich so she would be attracted to me, or just a good face would do. If you have a good face, you can work in McDonalds and still get top tier. Too bad im broke and average at best. Fml  Roll Eyes

yeah good face is very important, otherwise you need just to be rich, only those two things count apparently, what a bad world

Actually Emma is VERY nice and personable, she doesn't act like she's above everyone else and is more than happy to talk to you just as a friend.

95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Increasing the rich and poor divide? on: August 23, 2014, 11:45:38 AM
While there still will be problems, many will be lessened - especially the federal reserve problem.

The federal reserve or "the fed" for short, is a NON GOVERNMENT ENTITY again, NON GOVERNMENT ENTITY. That was created in order to sound like a government entity.  When in reality, it is a network of bankers, who create money for the government, and since initially the government doesn't have money to pay for the created money - they give the government a loan with interest at the most basic level.  Now if you take someone who has 0 money and give them 5 bucks and say they'll owe you 6 bucks, however the total amount of money IN THE WORLD is 5 bucks, how could they ever possibly repay you?

Simple, they can't, and so inflation occurs and gets worse and worse to where the small amount of money the poor have becomes so worthless that they can't even feed themselves - and there you have a depression. It's not about the rich and the poor, it's about the poor not being able to live while being poor. That's what inflation causes and that's what bitcoin can prevent.  The "printing" of money is the mining of bitcoin and nobody is being charged interest for it. Once the coins are mined that's it, nobody is owed anything and therefore inflation will not continue.  Because once bitcoins exist they never desist.

With paper money it degrades and they have to constantly print new money and create new anti-counterfeit measures, meaning those crispy new 100's that look like monopoly money in the US cost us yet ANOTHER unpayable loan to the fed.

Now couple bitcoin with endless electricity resources and you have the worlds first freely created and distributed currency.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How easy it is to KILL bitcoin. on: August 23, 2014, 11:34:15 AM
You, sir, are high on crack.

Linux users probably think they are cool and can bypass this.. no they cant. They think they can use TOR or some other ip spoofing method.. THIS is an illusion. Yeah it hides your ip from other end users, but YOUR isp has YOUR ip, period.
MY IP, yes. Not the IP of the actual server or person I'm communicating with. Just some random TOR node.

Quote
Notice we are all given static ip's now? These are postcoded. Geo tagging is applied to ALL packets leaving YOUR pc at the ISP level, they can now decide where to send ALL packets using strict filtering rules.
Geo tagging is applied to all packets? Really? Smiley
Even if that were true (which isn't the case) they are tagging outer dummy packets. Not the actual packets which are encrypted and embedded in the TOR traffic.

Quote
Or I could just look at the block chain for address's, write any address found there into my fresh wallet, and take all, using that dns redirect..
Do you realize that in order to receive bitcoins on addresses, or send from those addresses, you don't need to have or manage those addresses (or their private keys) at your own PC and IP at all?

Sorry pal, you seem to have an utter lack of understanding even the basic principles of TCP/IP, TOR, and Bitcoin.

Sorry to arrive so late in this discussion...but I am curious.

OP sounded like he knew what he was talking about in his original post, and you sound like you know what you are talking about...OP and Kazimir, what are your professions?

Also Kazimir, is there truly no way for the NSA to break into a TOR network? I feel like they have the power to do just about anything, even if they have to go so far as to hardline into your home network for "suspected terrorists." Why would that seem far fetched considering all they've done illegally so far?

99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's a cool way to present .1btc to someone as a gift? on: August 22, 2014, 06:57:14 AM
Send him one of those 90's style e-cards containing his address, then you can present him with his private keys and such in person.  Maybe he'll find the retro of it all to be hilarious.
