Wahoo!!

12 blocks in one day!!!

Beats the crap out of the Discus Fish!!!   Grin Grin Grin

has anyone seen a run this good before on slush in the last 1.5 years or so ?  i can't remember one.  =)

Yea I don't think iv ever seen such a great reward / blocks.           Block in between 30mins.    At 1-10 MIBs ea.

This is the reason I and Many others stay on slushs pool.   BC were small but destroy all the other pools.   We kick ass.

Got 1.3th/s on the pool Smiley.  Good reward Cheesy

There's a pool I'm with.  We find like 5 blocks.   And they barely find 1 let alone 2.

WOOOOOHO. Go slush woot woot

Looking at blocks. Lol I see like 10 MIns, 5 mins ,  25mins, 7 mins 1 hr,  30 mins.        I don't think this could get any better than this.

We rock

What an awesome ending to an awesome week. 231% reward as of this moment! Couldn't be happier.  Grin

Keep rolling in the BTC! Let's just hope it doesn't keep going down below $400.

Would be nice to have a repeat of like Nov-Jan or w.e when 1 btc was like 1000.   Would be nice to have a repeat of that, or a bit less.

Still was an ending toba fantastic week.

Great day Smiley

7 blocks found, there is 10 more hours to find some more blocks, until 02h00 Am (western europe time)

Go Go Slush's Smiley

Feeling great! Such a great week we have been having. Takes my mind off of the falling price of BTC the past while.
10 min blocks nice Grin Grin

8 minute blocks :DDDDD can this get any better Cheesy  lol of course it can.  It's slushs pool :DDD woot woot loving it best pool ever.
84  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [9000 TH] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + VarDiff on: September 20, 2014, 04:11:14 PM
I always keep coming back to Slush (a noob story).

A few months ago I bought an S1. Brand new to the mining world and didn't know much about it (arguably, still don't). Based on a little research I chose Slush's as my first pool. I wanted to try a few different pools since I was so new and didn't really know how any of them would reward me for my one little S1.

Well, after trying five different pools, Slush's always wins and I alway come back. I think now I'm here to stay.

Admittedly, my experiment is non-scientific, not long enough to get a true sample and I bailed early on some pools, but from my experience, I earn the most with Slush.

With Slush, the time to payout .01 BTC was all over the place --- from 23 hrs to 84 hrs. With the rest it was never lower than 53 hrs --- usually more like 60 hrs and up.

Here's a little chart with the average-per-day earnings as I jumped around to different pools while testing my miner. It is sorted according to earnings per day.

https://www.google.com/fusiontables/embedviz?containerId=googft-gviz-canvas&q=select+col0%2C+col1+from+1VHJ0RrzRzyTziul9dxIRnmW2BRSmyhCtpANveFVo+order+by+col1+asc+limit+10&viz=GVIZ&t=BAR&uiversion=2&gco_forceIFrame=true&gco_hasLabelsColumn=true&width=500&height=300

(BTW, my elec is included in rent so it's FREE.)

Cheesy.  Yea.  I agree 100%.  I tobdid that same test between big pools small pools etc etc etc.   I came to one conclusion.

Nobody beats slushs pool.
You can't resist a pool that treats you more than fair.

Half  month ago @ 800gh/s I was getting .002 btc steady.   Now its about .003 - .004 every block at that speed.

With slushs, every time luck goes down for you or bad payouts, wait a few weeks and you will make all of it back.

I keep thinking I need to switch pools, need better or faster pay.     But nope I always end up back inbslushs pool for the win.
85  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [9000 TH] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + VarDiff on: September 19, 2014, 02:34:45 PM
$400 now  Sad

Will keep mining until the very end! Maybe even buy some if it gets very low.... The most we can lose is what we invest but there is unlimited potential for reward  Grin

Lol CAD $ more Smiley.  But barely.     Yes there a great amount of potential.     Me personally,  I believe btc can still reach the 1000s     you can't predict the stock market prices,  thus u can't predict the btc prices,  most we can do,  is estimate what it will be at and for how long.

I think though if it is at this price right now so low,   I don't see it going back up big anytime soon.. Atkeast for a month or so.

Oh well. We will see how it goes until the end up sept.  I'm afraid to buy btc in case u buy now and it never goes back up( though im almost certain that it will...inbtine)

Good luck everybody.
86  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [9000 TH] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + VarDiff on: September 19, 2014, 01:36:20 PM
As long as the price keeps above 1 Satoshi I'll mining.

Betta buy Btc^^

I agree to.   There's always going to be profit just may not be as good as youbthink.

The way insee it is, the more warehouse farms that cone online the more the price dropss, the more it drops (in my opinion) the more the warehouse farms become a waste.

U may have like5ph/s farns and all.  But what's treuly the point of insane speeds when the price is dead low.

Its a damn good think were onnslushs pool.   Were awesome.
87  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [9000 TH] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + VarDiff on: September 19, 2014, 01:28:37 PM
So it seems like.  These very greedy farms.   Like 1-5 big farms that are greedy are ruining it for EVERYONE else.    Unless the price goes back up within a month or 2.   It starting to feel like its the end.
88  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [9000 TH] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + VarDiff on: September 19, 2014, 01:21:56 PM
Wow.     Another $50 down in btc price over night.  It should stop making us suffer and drop to 300 and stay there it something.  Yup we me have to deal with a low btc/$ for a long time now SadSad
89  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [9000 TH] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + VarDiff on: September 18, 2014, 09:11:56 PM
2 blocks in 40 minutes.....   Can I get a what what what.

It's starting orb always started  looking pretty damn good.
Still price being low sucks.

Also I use alloscomo alloscomp to check the difficulty and when it will changechange.

Loo I can't delete all of a sudden but I can write.

You all keep saying people won't shutdown some miners or w.e.    nobof not that's why you FORCE THEN TO.     Mostly these btc exchanges.   Its called DDOS, which means distributed denial of service,   with the ability to shutdown. Pools or exchanges for a few hours or days.

Price is just dropping,  and the only real way to fix this is for some of these exchanges or pools to go offline for ahwile.

But everyone likes to say people wontbturb them off, no nobody will, that's why u take it offline by force.... Just until price goes up a bit.

Either way.   STOCK MARKET people that's what this is like.

Dood! Shutting down any or all exchanges won't lower difficulty. Only hashrate affects difficulty. Maybe read over the last few pages of posts and learn.

I have been reading.    And when miners can't connect to pools it = low hashrate.  But w.e.    I give up using my brain. I see this isn't brains.

Hashrate effect difficulty.... Nooo really.   I though hashrate made the diff go downhill and buying a mass amount if bitcoins online caused the price to shoot through the roof.

Lol.     I'm not even going to try being smart.    I'll just do it myself than.      Works for me.       Truely.   Who needs free electricity when ur paying like .05.08 cents kW/h

But oh well.  Y'all can figure out your own ways.  Let me k ow how it works out for you while I make some money Cheesy

I'm sorry for trying to help, forgive me.

^ Im going to be doing a rain dance in my street when i get home - Just at work atm so they may wonder why im dancing like a mad man in the office.

All the dancing  in the world is not going to help at this point.

Block payment less than half of what it was.

BTC goin down fast like the Titanic.

Difficulty going up like the space shuttle. maybe faster next month when the new machines get delivered .

Face the music it's about to be over for home mining.

It's been a nice ride this past year but if you've been around you can see the warning signs.

If your new , get out now your going to loose..

JMHO
Bob

Wow.  So negative.      Thus guy has clearly lost all hope

It not hope I've lost, it's profit.
Electric bills have not gone down just payouts from every pool , not just slush.
If you can show me where I'm wrong I'd like to see it.
I'm just trying to warn new people to give up now and learn from the people who have been at this a while.
The Heyday is over and gone.
The mountain ahead is getting higher and higher and no matter what your driving you'll never get anywhere.
I lost my fair share of money when I first started out, but was lucky enough to turn a profit before it was too late.
Right now the only people who will make any money are the manufacture's that are selling their last ditch effort hardware to people who cant see the writing on the wall.
Sorry if I seem all doom and gloom but as I said if you have any FACTS to show I'm wrong, bring it on.
Bob

Iv started my own farm a few weeks back hosting at 3 different places.  And so far iv pretty much already broke even. 8 cent kW/h and free electricity is how I'm running.

So far its working amazing.

Correct me if I'm wrong. But if ur new or w.e.  if u have free electricity,  ur completely fine.  If ur paying for electricity you may be out of luck soon

Wooohooo.  As always.   Slush is going golden again.   Reward is back up.   I'm getting .0015 extra btc per block now.  Wohoooo.

I knew this would happen,  slush always has the best come back.

Now we just need the btc/$ to go back to like the 600s.  Wow the price sure is dropping quite a bit. Very sucky.

Woot.    Hopefully I reach .5 or 1 btc before the week is over. Or close to
95  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [9000 TH] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + VarDiff on: September 18, 2014, 02:51:24 AM
Don't get me wrong the idea itself isn't bad just it will never happen on a scale large enough to have any effect.

On a small scale itl mean nothing. But on a large scale ( all pool miners cut speed in half). It would make a diff.

Butbas we all say, it'll never happen.     Why would something that Makes sense actually be taken into consideration,    loo cause we all live in a world with people that have uncommon sense.  Cheesy.      Sorry.  Just saying what's true.

I just don't get why everyone complains about high diff or something when everyone complaining are probably the ones causing it to go higher.   Crap the diff is higher.  Need more hash power. .. Damnit it went higher... Need more hash power.      Instead think.  Damn the diff keeps going so Hugh,  what if I turned off my miners instead.

Again this is just MY IWN 2 sense
96  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [9000 TH] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + VarDiff on: September 18, 2014, 01:34:33 AM
So lately iv been watching the diff prediction rise.    It started at like 31 its now 35-38  and I have a feeling when it comes for diff ride it will be at around 42-46.   I thinks is on have like 5 levels in 28hrs or less.   And by the looks of it, its not going to drop, slow down or stop rising anytime soon.

The higher the diff, the more miners people add,   and the so called "only way" to lower it is for miners to be turned off.
So this is why i have a feeling it'll be 42-48 by the time it finLly changes.

I'm not loosing hope.  The hope is there, just loosing hope of it dropping or stopping anytime soon.

My theory is,  with your own miners  everyone who runs more than 5th/s turn off ur miners and reduce the speed to 1-5th/s and keep ur miners ready for when and if price rises or diff shootsnthrough the roof.

Instead of adding more and more and more miners to keep up with diff,    turn half your miners off so diff drops thus doubling your profit(I'm pretty sure)

We here at slushs are a family.   And as a family were strong and were lucky.    But diff won't drop or slow down anytime soon with more and more people turning onnmore miners.

Thanks.

You do realize there is 248 TH on the network, it will never happen. Enjoy while you can as home mining will be nothing but a hobby in the not to distant future. Just the nature of the beast.

No I do realize.  But alllll of this can be fixed by people simply... Reducing there speed.   That doesn't mean just slush users.   It means EVERYONE.      Cut urnspeed in half, save btc, increase profitability.

I understand it all, but everyone halving there speeds would double maybe triplenour profits.   But since that won't happen.   I guess going broke to try and make moneybis the big thing now in bitcoin world.

Hobby, it already is a hobby.   And one hell of a hobby.   Started a few weeks ago, made some money but seems with btc/ $ drop and diff constantly rising every single day.  Maaking IT dead hard TO ROI.

Unless people were smart and and halved there.mining speed.    And suffer low rewards for ahwile so we can get lower diff.  Butnsince nobody seems to think like that.

SUFFER AWAY.  Seems to be what everyone likes to do

Complains about slow blocks, slow or low payouts lower payouts eTC.     Well. Why are you complaining...... The solutions to fix it all are out there but  ppl just  keep complaining or.... Let's just buy more miners increase my speed....... Causingnhigher diff causing longer blocks or smaller payouts.

I'm just in this to make a few hundred $  possibly hopefully a few thousand $$    or at least break even

FOR I have spoken my 2 sense into this.

I like this hobby, its great for my ADHD.   Always got stuff to do things to check on, math tobdo.      Keeps the hands and the head busy, works for me as long as I can break even  and make a few bucks after that is all I care about.

Shut down some miners yea. Or crash a few pools or btc exchanges.     Cheesy.

All. Very simply steps.   Might be time to go to ghash for ahwle till slush gets back in the game or diff lowers
99  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [9000 TH] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + VarDiff on: September 17, 2014, 04:18:47 PM
I've been on the road and checking my acct. over the past few days...not looking so great. How are things @the guild or eligius compared to here? Are they struggling as much as we seem to be??

How is Slush struggling?

Pool luck (1 day, 7 days, 30 days):   110%, 101%, 107%

Well for one thing the block payout is half of what it was a couple on months ago.
So you need twice as many blocks now to make what you were making before.
Those pool luck numbers dont mean squat any more.
It's the PAYOUT that is disappearing.
Simple math my friend.

EXACTKY.   The luck is exactly only just that.   Luck.   It doesn't calculate daily or weekly payout luck or how much you made before apposed from now.

Math.      The difficulty needs to go down or price go up.     And we can doo all of that ourselves.

Luck is luck.   Reward is reward.

We must put a stop to this.   WE CAN lower the diff, with help we can and we shall.
100  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [9000 TH] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + VarDiff on: September 17, 2014, 02:52:27 PM
Currently there is DDos attack on bitcoin.org

Honestly we need a good attack on one of the big exchanges to knock the difficulty back down.

JT

I'm not sad to say, I 100%  agree with you on that one completely.   Its just going to keep going up and up and up.      Going to 34 in like 8-9 days approx.    And with the low btc/$ this diff is making it a hell of a lot harder.

Team attack on exchanges or pools is what we and some others need.  We need something so we don't loose our profit, or so we can actually make it back.

Slush been on a nice roll lately.    Huge diff rise soon unless we can change that.
