81  Economy / Economics / Re: Currency Ban. 91 people died in queues outside ATMs and banks on: September 05, 2018, 11:11:38 AM
Futher economic implications of india's "demonetisation" policy from 2016:

Quote
Meantime, consumers are spending less, which is hurting small producers who, in turn, are being forced to scale back their activities.

As a consequence, supply chains at small, medium and even larger companies are breaking down. Lorries are stranded with no money for fuel, workers will not load goods for free and distributors can’t pay up. Wholesale markets in many cities are shut.

Mr Singh said current liquidity squeeze will reduce India’s gross domestic product growth rate by 2 per cent, with agricultural production, small industries and the vast, cash-driven informal sector, which employs millions of youth, hardest hit. Businesses are quietly warning of potential job losses in labour-intensive manufacturing industries as well.

https://www.thenational.ae/business/india-s-demonetisation-creates-payday-cash-crisis-1.204867

Appears to have inflicted far more economic damage than economic benefits provided.

Was this related to the "cashless society" movement? Either to create a precedent where paper money might be blamed for the negative implications of india's 2016 demonetization policy. Or to discourage the use of cash, in some strange attempt to push electronic money as being a superior alternative?

Yes that is what they are speaking about. Actually Indian vice president thought that he will be able to take out all the black money form the corrupted system. I am pretty sure that they were successful in doing that as most of the people who held the cash money in their lockers got robbed with their black money.

But recently when the RBI load was calculated then it came to notice that their is insufficiency of the money within the nation. RBI never calculated or failed to calculate the cascade of events which occurred later on and thus became short on printing the money.

The cashless dream literally became more costlier than what they thought.
82  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: tool in market trading on: September 04, 2018, 04:47:15 PM
As newbie in this campaign, what will be the possible tool that I should use in starting the market trading?

Thats a way long journey mate and all you have to do is start looking for the exchanger or market place that you will be using or you are comfortable with. After selecting the market place you have to go for choosing your coins and/or tokens that you gonna trade. Mostly you should choose the undervalued coins at the first time which are nothing but the coins which are below $1 in value but make sure they are having the higher 24 hour volumes so that they wont be scam ones. The more the market volume the better it is.  Cheesy
Now start selecting your best methodology from swing trades, day trades and short-long term trading etc. This way you can start learning about the trades.
83  Economy / Economics / Re: Companies that are scary on: September 04, 2018, 01:09:09 PM

Of all the large companies that are now large internet players, do anyone particularly scare you in terms of how you data and track could be used? Amazon, Facebook, Twitter, …?

We have biggest example of such breach from the well known company like Facebook and I am sure that everyone will have the same opinion as of mine. Dont forget that they used our personal data publicly to share with the third parties and this was confirmed by the Mark himself. Not only this I do believe that other companies like Amazon, Twitter, and Google are using our day to day activities to track our movement and know what we like and what we dont like. Depending upon which they do make changes to how the internet looks like to us and thus its kind of use of info itself. But may be no one says anything about it as it comes under user agreement and thus we ourselves giving them permission to use it.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are most new tokens Ethereum ICOs? on: September 04, 2018, 11:00:41 AM
Hey guys! I was just curious to know why most of the tokens I've been seeing have been on Ethereum. What are the benefits?

ETH platform offers easy to set up Smart contracts which can be sued to make the project over the ETH blockchain. This way these projects doesn't need any sort of blockchain of their own and thus they can get started quickly. This smart contract address also offers them easy to transact features where at the time of ICO people can just send the ETH to contract address and thus get their tokens instantly into their ERC 20 supported wallet address. This process is far simpler over the ETH platform as compared to the others and thats why they are using the most. Plus, ETH is most popular currency to be used for such transactions.
85  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Always keep fiat while holding on: September 04, 2018, 08:32:41 AM
I guess that is the way crypto works and that is the way one should follow the trading patterns if one has to get profited. Fiat currency is always great option if we really want to hold the amount of money the is getting traded needs to be stabilised at particular point. The only way to do is either you hold your coins in the stable coins or the fiat. But I will never recommend the stable coins because they are also the crypto currencies and thus may lead to few % of loss due to total market cap going up and down all the time. Also fiat holding makes sure that we will gain the same amount in terms of fiat when we buy or sell at any point.
86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: LIKE IT OR NOT, BITCOIN IS AN INVESTMENT on: September 04, 2018, 06:04:58 AM
I guess anything ( assets, coins, billions, bars, real estates, cloths, eggs, breads ) that are needed to create from something and are bought, sold, re-bought and re-sold and which finally gives the profit or loss statement at some point are all called as an investment. So I am sure with that definition bitcoin is already perfect investment because it is bought and sold at different prices and it is traded to grow the current investment and have more wealth. So yeah your definition is true and as read everyone here is having the same point of view and tells us that anything into which we invest money is basically investment. This is good discussion and something new too. :-)
87  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there an App for price alerts, that makes noise when they trigger (an alarm) on: August 30, 2018, 06:13:29 PM
Thanks for the suggestions.
I think i'll go with the app, as i get so many emails - i don't want each one to alert me of it's presence.. as most are adverts and blogs that i've subscribed to e.t.c.
I'd like to have a specific sound related to crypto alerts, so i know it's important to me.
Regards,
G

Apps would be better for you because they are more or less simpler in giving you the notifications as compared to the subscription to the different channels and feeds over the internet. They could be very much disturbing, may be sending lot of mails, messages etc.

With the average android app you will get the notification according to your setting along with the set up of how you would like to have the alerts sent out, technically speaking they will be given straight to the notification bar and thus making it very easy for you to read and interact. Most of the wallets and exchangers android app have this feature in built. Try coinbase and binance.
88  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Big mistakes for a beginner in cryptocurrencies ✌ on: August 30, 2018, 05:16:03 PM
Interesting, I am not sure whats about the FUD and Day trading but surely FUD alone is very hard thing that can damage the way crypto currency are hiking these days. Surely beginners tend to fall for the FUD a lot because they are all always scared about the smallest bad news around the crypto market. I guess what you explained in the point of "No understanding of price fluctuation" is the similar thing to having more faith on the FUD and thus it makes sense why they fall for it at all. Beginner are always there to make such mistakes and also contribute to the FUD itself. :-/
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop SCAM in the ICO market on: August 30, 2018, 10:05:04 AM
I liked the point where you are talking about the stake holder unity. Yes with the community voting people have made big decision in the past and have won the most difficult situation. I guess if people really go for unity and sort out the result of each ICO by evaluating it at the personal level then surely things can turn out to be positive one. After all it is the people who will vote them and thus in return they will earn some legit ICO's in their portfolio. Yes, Thats the right way to do it.
Hopefully people will look into your idea and may respond it positively.
90  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Yobit Transaction on: August 29, 2018, 10:25:18 PM
Hi I am just new to Yobit Trading Platform, can anyone teach me how I can see my transaction that I have made in Yobit. Can also anyone tell me if Yobit is a good trading platform or not.

Yobit is the worst trading platform and I assure you that as long as this thread will keep growing you will see that all of them will have the negative reviews about it. For me yobit is worst because most of the people dont use or trust it and thus the volume that is traded over the yobit is very time and thus it could simply lead to the stuck transaction. I used it for trading the sociall coins earlier and I was too shock to see that all my transactions are stuck because of no volume over that yobit. It sucks dude.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What the Future Holds to Crypto on: August 29, 2018, 09:49:35 PM
Interestingly tis number of interested people will always keep growing no matter what because the crypto currency is real freedom and people know this as they have sued it. Those who are not into the crypto yet are getting the mouth to mouth publicity done from those whoa re experienced in this field. Many people are just being the gold traders in here and making their fortunes.
I think this gives clear idea to us as to where this bitcoin rally is going up and where it may end up. The future is already bright we just need to find the right spot to develop it and push more.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is now consuming 1% of the world's electricity. Is that sustainable? on: August 29, 2018, 08:44:11 PM
The banks are still running since couple of 100 years now and there digitalisation has grown vastly since 100 years. What do you think how much electricity they might have used up until now? I guess this number might be huge and they might using the largest electric supply as they are the basis of whole financial system all over the globe. Just imagine how much there equipments, safes, surveillance, Internet connectivity and much more might be consuming as compared to the bitcoin. Believe me, that comprison makes sense, bitcoin is still tiny bit.
93  Economy / Economics / Re: how to save money? on: August 29, 2018, 07:13:13 PM
put them on a savings account or make a contribution to something. More probably, and there are no ways to save them

Ah, just keeping them in the savings account doesn't mean that they are going to be saved at all. Lol.
You have to work fo the different strategy and then only you can save your money. Always remember that even if you keep anything in the savings accounts then there will be a time when you will stumble upon the situation where you need enough money and then you grab it from the savings. But thats not the savings because that would be your liquid money thats been kept for the situation like this. If you work for it well, then you can make sure things are all right.
94  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you track what happens in Crypto industry daily? on: August 27, 2018, 04:03:18 PM
Im juts following the forum man and nothing else! I mean there is no point in keeping ourselves updated with the sources that may or may not be true. Most of the time I hear that external sources are sometimes made up one so that people can get started with the FUD's and create the panic situation in rest of the people.

Well thats why mate, stay on this forum, and checkout the people discussing here. They spread lot of positive news, and we can also confirm many things here, whether they are positive or negative.  Cool
95  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the Best Coins to Buy? on: August 27, 2018, 01:34:59 PM
I'm planning to increase my holdings in XRP and ADA their price is incredibly low at this time and I think this is the best time to buy for a long time hodl. The BER months is comming I'm pretty sure the market will be bullish anytime from now.

I didn't know market trends had a correlation with months or seasons. 🤔

Just fyi, not because we had a massive market bull run in September last year, it doesn't mean we're going to have the same this year. Not saying it's impossible though.

Oh yeah, surely thats a false prediction that things here are dependent upon the season. Lol. But there is just simple explanation to why the crypto currencies pump in the Q4 (that from sept onwards) and that could be people started to getting in after the summer holidays and hope that they will hit another pump of december soon again. This is actually happening many times and if you pick up the past years data then surely they pump when the year end comes.
So surely, there has got some relation for the year end and nothing else. No seasonal changes.
You just buy the coins which are having high volumes and thats the secrete.
96  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2020 Bitcoin Halving Will Push Prices To $60,000 Says Bobby Lee on: August 27, 2018, 09:52:03 AM
I believe in what I see. I have seen that crypto currency changes its behaviour all the time and there is now way to see that the crypto currencies are gonna show the same picture as to what they have predicted to this date. Yes, I believe that halving process will get the demand and supply ratio altered hugely but that doesnt mean it will push the bitcoin prices all the way up 60K USD. I mean many be, but most of the time its gonna be surely different case at that time. See, the world moving and the political forces will be bold by that time. You never know what will happen.
97  Economy / Economics / Re: CHINA BLOCKS ACCESS TO OVER 120 EXCHANGES on: August 23, 2018, 11:53:25 PM
It seem china is taking its ban on crypto-currencies rather too serious, recent move involve restricting its citizens access to foreign exchanges.  Will this deter those really serious about 'breaking the rule'?

https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/china-blocks-access-over-120-offshore-digital-currency-exchanges/

Thats a kind of news no one will be interested. Now its all about the China again and I hate to see any news about them because they have banned the crypto 100 times in month and million times in a year. LOLZ.

We should not be worried about their bans anymore as this market is used to them and no one cares whats their next move is. They have made a joke of themselves by initially manipulating the crypto currencies and then later on putting mega ban on them within the country. Again they opens up doors for the OTC type of trades and then again they banned it and now again this news.

They are confused people man.

99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Currencies - Solution for dying Economies on: August 23, 2018, 04:36:52 PM
May be they will choose the bonds because crypto currencies are still not that big and out of the box to handle the big amount of money that is needed by the projects like those. We are not talking about few million dollars here, its all about the billions and upto trillion or something. They are different intentional relations which will always need to be played safe with the ever growing threats of hacks, stealing of the money and stuff like that. Not to forget the wars etc I dont think crypto currencies are best option yet because its lacking that infra structure I believe.
100  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mine Bitcoin with your TV! on: August 19, 2018, 09:50:38 AM
The TV will actually have mining equipment installed. It's quite impressive what they're trying to accomplish, although not sure how much your electrical bill will go up with this :p
I just watched the video and yes they will do this.

If its dedicated to mine bitcoin how long will the TV stay. We know that televisions aren't created that way and it won't lasts like the older TV sets.

Well for the electricity bill...  Undecided

Indeed. There are many questions arising from this version of TV set because it is going to cost huge money and the only person that will benefit from this is the company that is manufacturing the TV itself. I mean tell me for how long do you watch the TV itself? For sure not more than 12 hours a day  Roll Eyes

What the TV will mine in that period and have you guys ever imagined how much energy it will take plus how much harmful it is to keep the TV on all the time with all those infra rays coming out of the screens?
