83  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting On Cricket World Cup [Help Me Bet] on: February 27, 2015, 10:27:39 AM
again bad luck i lost 0.27BTC on WI Angry that was big mistake to be greedy to bet on big odds.

THat was definitely not a good pick to bet big on. However a commendable play by RSA ,making >400 , in 50 overs.

No comment here about Kim Dotcom's tweet?

http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/2xbowj/kim_dotcom_on_twitter_lets_give_bitcoin_a_boost/

It is claimed that PayPal just closed Mega's account, because of pressure from VISA and MasterCard, allegedly because of pressure by US Senator Leahy, allegedly on behalf of the MPAA.

Not long before #Mega ditches Bitcoin as well for some DRK/XMR coin. Wait for it when BTC goes more "government friendly"...

Maybe it might launch Megacoin. But I doubt they would shift from bitcoin.
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tipping May Be Bitcoin's Next Killer Application on: February 27, 2015, 09:56:35 AM
I thought changetip already is the best app/service for bitcoin, which also applied to the general population, if they wish to try it out.
86  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best way to buy bitcoins with Visa/Master Prepaid debit cards? on: February 26, 2015, 08:32:36 PM

87  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why make a large sale on a weekend? on: February 26, 2015, 08:31:31 PM
A similar trend is actually seen on every weekend. We can only speculate.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is The Media's Effect To Bitcoin? on: February 26, 2015, 08:27:22 PM
Well ,certainly all the media attention has been growing in the past 2 years. And giving it around 2 years should be decent for looking at what finally happens.
89  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why aliexpress don't use bitcoin ? on: February 26, 2015, 08:25:31 PM
Dont they already have something called Alipay ? And just like you would argue for any other store to accept bitcoin, aliexpress already has more options for payments than most of the other marketplaces.

Correct.  They have their own payment system called Alipay, which is why they don't incorporate Bitcoin:

http://global.alipay.com/ospay/home.htm

They'd be cannibalizing their own product by doing so.  If and when Bitcoin approaches their level of transaction volume, I'm sure they'll consider adding it as an option.
we're probably gonna get added once bitcoin shows the world how amazing it is :>

6 years in. I think we are already past that phase now. Its just the volatility which keeps the people out from investing into it.
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do We Need Social Media Promotion on: February 26, 2015, 08:24:29 PM
It definitely needs more social promotion. Changetip already does that, as people who get tipped always end up trying and get introduced to bitcoin.
91  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: New Minning invest Website on: February 26, 2015, 08:23:14 PM
Can you provide any form of proof that you earn coins through mining and are not actually running a ponzi scheme ?
92  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: BTCRich.in | DOUBLE or TRIPLE BITCOINS in just 2-3 DAYS! 10% Referral on: February 26, 2015, 08:22:40 PM

93  Economy / Gambling / Re: I have an idea of game. But can't programmed. on: February 26, 2015, 08:21:37 PM
The edge is too high. People will run as soon as they know this.

Sorry for my bad english.

We have 5 players with the same bet (for example : 0,005 btc).

Every player chooses a different number from 1 to 5.
The player who falls on the number releases lost 100%.

The others 4 players wins 24.75% (4x24.75% = 99% payout).

The people who makes the game takes 1% (-fees of transaction to others players).

I don't want to make that game, it's just an idea.

Don't insult me thank you.  Grin

Fixed your %'s to make it an actually competitive idea.

Yeah, this is a far better version of the idea. Smiley

Seems the op was just to explain the game than throwing out the percentage for the house. The hourse would only be able to charge less than 2% , which is on;y what will justify it.
94  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Bitcoin Donation Chain Letter on: February 26, 2015, 08:20:33 PM
He is probably just posting this as he already has the negative trust and wouldn't mind more.
95  Economy / Gambling / Re: I have an idea of game. But can't programmed. on: February 26, 2015, 06:29:22 PM
The house can rig the game imo. Since I am assuming, there would be something like multiple rooms. And in each room 5 positions. The house will almost everytime, know the winning position, even if they give you the hash.
They could sit a bot in that position, and when the rest of the seats get filled, they will winning all the time. The provably fair part to give no one the advantage will be difficult.
96  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting On Cricket World Cup [Help Me Bet] on: February 26, 2015, 04:49:52 PM
Just saw the SL vs Bangladesh score. 332 for only 1 wicket. Thats a crazy score they made.
97  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another reason why bitcoin fails on: February 26, 2015, 04:42:48 PM
Just peg it... Make your own exchange point..

No demand but a lot of supply = a low price. There are not enough demands on the buyer's side for the price to be high...

Yeah, 3,600 Bitcoins printed out of thin air mined every day...  No wonder BTC's tanking Cry

Well , thats been happening  since a long time.
98  Local / India / Re: Gambling and Bitcoin on: February 26, 2015, 04:41:03 PM

You can make a case out of everything and anything here in India, its just that it will take 20years to get that case solved Tongue .

Also I don't think there are enough bitcoin sports book that can handle the amount of bets that are made in India. People wager like 50BTC/2IPL matches with their "local" bookie. I wonder how would the sportsbook handle Indians if most of them come online.

I think yes that would be one limitation, but again , like someone said, the big players would probably not use bitcoin, and mostly don't do so even internationally.
The max you can bet on certain sites to win is around 50 BTC, which is around 12K $ .

Shared the meetup on facebook.

LAst time a meetup happpned, there was discussion about bitcoin ,starting from an introduction for new people.
As for trading BTC, it isn't the suitable place, but you can always talk to someone before and have the deal done there.
100  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: [HOT]RECHARGE TRICK FOR SALE on: February 26, 2015, 04:35:34 PM
The price is pretty high for only 20 rupee recharges, 0.5 btc is 7251 rupees right now
If you are willing to lower the price and prove that the thing works, let me know
I SAY EVEN IF 0.5BTC worth 8000rs then also it's a good deal..because you can do unlimited recharges..i am doing the same..and have got more then 10000rs balance and till now recharged more then 20000rs in total...so i can say you can recover that amount pretty soon..so if you intrested you can pm me

Thats excluding the time you would have put in.
