81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why We Need Bitcoin, If Altcoins Transfers Are Faster And Cheaper on: January 14, 2020, 06:59:22 AM
Really Bitcoin transfers are expensive and lower speed, therefore altcoins are much easy to transfer. For small transfer amounts Bitcoin is not usable.

why you complain about bitcoin lower speed and expensive fee if bitcoin lightning network has been releases?

82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why will BTC halving stimulate price growth? on: January 13, 2020, 04:42:40 PM
I hear a lot of discussion around BTC halving that is expected in May 2020.
Many people are confident that this event will trigger the next bull run.

What is the logic behind this?

imagine the cost to mining 100bitcoin diffirent with the cost before halving example :
before halving : 100bitcoin need 4 block (25btc/block)
after halving : 100bitcoin need 8block (12.5/block)

that's the diffirent timing, you can get this logic to cost of mining too.

Hello everybody,

does anyone know this provider?

https://minery.io/en

I am very surprised that I cannot find any information/experiences. Neither here in the forum nor on another page. I think the price per kWh is very good at $ 0.06 (including service fees).

84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest crypto mystery still revolves around Satoshi’s identity on: January 13, 2020, 03:56:54 PM
“Mining should not be too profitable (because nothing should be too profitable, the world doesn’t leave free money lying around). Therefore the price of Bitcoins can’t rise too much above the cost of mining (counting equipment depreciation among the costs of course).”

“Since we’re all rich with bitcoins, or we will be once they’re worth a million dollars like everyone expects, we ought to put some of this unearned wealth to good use.”

for me halfinney is the real satoshi nakamoto, just my feeling, every little sathosi we earned or we buying from market having halfinney soul, and we can feel it
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Top Performing Altcoin In 2020 on: January 13, 2020, 01:59:30 PM
Will 2020 be the year Ethereum asserts it's dominance in the Altcoin space or are one of the contenders poised to take the Altcoin crown?

from coinmarketcap, ethereum is still the 2nd winner of all cryptocoin, or 1st winner of all altcoin listed.
the trend will be still like this, ethereum is the top performing altcoin in 2020 like years gone by
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XVG good to invest ? on: January 13, 2020, 01:01:10 PM
the last halving making this coin so strong, its good idea to buy XVG right now,

the currenct block is 3748663

but if you can waiting, the price maybe fall in block arround 4m, buy some on dips and wait again the next halving Roll Eyes
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XMR, DASH, ZCASH in 2020 on: January 13, 2020, 12:47:07 PM
Hi, what do you think? Is it worth to buy privacy coins (XMR, DASH, ZCASH) in 2020?
i trust all of them will rise, why ?
XMR = the master of new era of anon transaction
Dash = The best masternode implementation ( maybe the first, just my assumption)
ZCASH = the first bitcoin real utx0 implementation and Zero-knowledge proofs.

they all masterpieces of altcoin, i think can rise minimum 20% from highest price last year and stable
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why only 6.2 percent of American citizens own Bitcoin? on: January 13, 2020, 12:39:35 PM
According to this article , only 6.2% of a highly developed country like the US of America own Bitcoin , which seems unreasonable among the crypto community who rely on the Americans for Bitcoin to be mass adopted quite fast around the world. Here is the link of the news:
 https://www.tronweekly.com/bitcoin-advisory-founder-shares-research-that-shows-6-2-percent-of-american-citizens-own-bitcoin/

i can't guarantee the data research from tronweekly is trusted
i get another research result 81% of Americans are familiar with at least one type of cryptocurrency, i think arround 30%+ people in american own bitcoin
source : https://today.yougov.com/topics/finance/articles-reports/2019/09/24/cryptocurrency-bitcoin-americans-millennials-poll

and another trusted research from coinbase and coindesk
Currently, 58 percent of Americans say they’ve heard of Bitcoin.

89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin could reach $1,000 in a couple of years from now on: January 12, 2020, 12:40:50 PM
I think if the bullish market will happen, the price of litecoin will reach $1000 for sure

For sure? if it was so easy everyone would be rich.

I don't really see Litecoin any better than Bitcoin (the king), Ether (Dapps, Defi, etc), Link (Chainlink) or even Stellar (for payments). Litecoin is pure speculation in this moment. Why someone would use Litecoin for payments when there are better alternatives, and why it would be used as store of value when there's Bitcoin?

The reason Litecoin hit ATH in 2017 is because all coins hit ATH back then. But times changed and I have seen very little progress with this coin.

(I own Litecoin btw, but I don't plan to buy more)

Even time has been changed, if bitcoin reach new ATH, i think all altcoin can reach it too..
I dont have litecoin but i hold some eth, i hope eth can reach $1500 again

94  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to start earning crypto? Bitcoin or altcoins? on: January 09, 2020, 10:27:57 AM
Is it better to mine alt coins? If so, do you advice on one in specific?
And what is the  fastest way to earn BTC?  I have read that with signature campaigns but I am a newbie so I can't have a signature yet.
Any advice?
Thank you

before i recomended something, maybe you can introduce yourself, like our background, if you are a student you can try learning basic knowledge about how bitcoin work etc.
if you want "just want to get free" you can try microearning in faucet, truely its very easy for starting.
if you have some money to invest learn about how to trade bitcoin, its really easy to get profit if you have knowledge in trading bitcoin.
95  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did you start trading? on: January 09, 2020, 10:09:41 AM

Maybe you've just been greedy or expected too much with what you have just invested. Forex is very different with the Cryptocurrency trading. There's no rules required to be made when to either start or stop. Before trading, we must be knowledgeable first with the market we are entering. It's like buying tshirts to resell in food market. No one would buy it as it wasn't fit for that. Same goes with trading. We must study first.

Enough said, I've started trading by spending my money first in studying all of the markets related to what exchange I want.

my last trading forex method is same as crypto right now, watch the candle set the bottom line when the current price in bottom line i buy and stop it after 10%-15% profit.

in crypto if we trade margin trading in poloniex we can trade to duble our private like at forex too.
96  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did you start trading? on: January 09, 2020, 06:39:22 AM
My trading started with FreshForex broker, as it’s one of the leading companies out there with lowest possible spreads, bonuses and many more such benefits. It all just makes working super easy and comfortable, especially with their Rebate Program, it makes trading easier.

i have tried forex trading, i get Growth:150% in 1month and DD only 20% but in next month i lost all my money  Cheesy
forex and crypto is same trading , diffirent platform but 1 goal, profit

better we have a rule when to start and when to stop, we must not put emotions first, we must put our thoughts first, so we can take a biggest profit with only a fiew lost
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day Trading or Long-term Hodl? on: January 08, 2020, 11:03:29 PM
Before now, I have always been getting it wrong about cryptocurrency. A friend recently opened my eyes to see how I could have increase little coins I have to fortune overtime by day-trading. But I am no that type. I had always thought I could only make fortune in crypto by hodling a certain coin for long.
Cryptoworld is not easy as you think, some people get fortune because join and buying bitcoin before last halving and now become a millionare.

13 months ago, I bought SNTR worth about $100 hoping that in few months I'll wallow in milliions of dollars like Ian Balina , but the reverse is often the case in the subsequent ones I bought. Sad fact, $100 worth of SNTR 13 months ago now less than $2.
Ian Balina just a lucky person who promote new ico and get money from promotion, he also buy the coin/token then he share it on his social media, people following ian to buy it then he can get profit from it too.

Recently, I watched several videos of how to analyse a coin or token to invest in, gained some good knowledge of the basics. I discovered day-trading tokens like DX token and AWC could have actually make me what I hope to be If i had the right information. But its never too late. Yet, I am drowned in mentality that hodling for long can only be the fortune I hope for. Reason I need help.

i have experience in daily trade earning arround 0.01-0.05 perday with 1bitcoin capital, its not easy too, but you can try it.
just start it by little amount, after you get your own strategy you can rising the capital to maximaze your profit.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High price but no volume on: January 08, 2020, 05:28:32 PM
It's back to square one if you are holding a coin or token for long term and finally altcoin season comes and the token or coin surge in value but has no trading volume on exchange, all your efforts and pain while holding is total waste, do not hold tokens or coins that have no demands, real use cases are what makes them very demanding

Demand depending of the utility of token/coin, if the token useless demand will be stagnant and no more new investor buy it, its really hard to find new ICO coin without utility, in roadmap + whitepaper we will see the utility of token/coin but after ICO some problem come and the utility cannot be implemented like at the roadmap. then the project dead withour volume transaction

100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next big thing in crypto? on: January 08, 2020, 04:57:08 PM
this is just my crazy idea for new big thing in crypto
how about "AI miner" ? the working program like this, hardware will doing math calculation of solving block, each block machine can learning the easy way to solve block, maybe with this system, we can have bigger hashrate just by running the Ai miner.
