WARNING: CoreX
Very quick DD, but lots of warning signs. Claims that contracts are written from scratch. They aren't:
- Fee Approver - Copy of CORE's code
- CXF Token - Generic ERC20 mintable token
- SDE Contracts - Copy of some other crowdsale called "CMRPDCrowdsale".
- CoreX Vault - Copy/frankencopy of CORE's code

But none of the above matters compared to this. The SDE contract (0x5584443288371BEF8b4B4405B2a31A75C378c1e4) sends all the ETH to another address: 0x9ab49f64094051e7a39a444428b88d4b3923efbd. 0x9ab49f64094051e7a39a444428b88d4b3923efbd is closed source, but if you decompile it, you will see that it matches OpenZep's RefundEscrow contract (https://github.com/OpenZeppelin/openzeppelin-contracts/blob/master/contracts/payment/escrow/RefundEscrow.sol). The "creators" of CoreX didn't even bother to rename anything, we queried their contract with the ABI from RefundEscrow. The beneficiary address is 0x82E73Dd96870989930A902F3b440DedB5C573bf1.

In summary, all the funds sent to the SDE are then sent to the escrow contract, which the beneficiary can withdraw. Check 0x82E73Dd96870989930A902F3b440DedB5C573bf1. Lots of Tornado transactions, probably done multiple scams prior to this.

Learnt about CoreX from Unibot advertisements. Unibot should look into reviewing the quality of projects they're reviewing.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My best investment strategy on: October 16, 2020, 09:11:58 AM
My strategy of investing is I find a good ICO or IEO , do research on it then try to invest some money in the private sale or at least presale, If I can get whitelisted because some of them have a lottery to get whitelisted and Sometimes I don't get there but usually if I get in I can have a good profit out of it .
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My take on DeFi bounties on: October 16, 2020, 09:09:02 AM
Unfortunately, that's true, even some good bounty managers have been doing it and some got negative feedback for it , I remember Blockeye was a good bounty manager until he/she got scammed by one of this bounties and got negative feedback now I'm carrying a signature running by Hhampuz, hope it doesn't turn scam at the end!
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Will UNISWAP become a centralized exchange? on: October 15, 2020, 10:00:37 AM
I never think that they whole advantage of UNISWAP is to be Decentralized so that everyone can provide liquidity in it and doesn't need a listing and the whole process of that if so it would have a lot of serious competitors like Binance and Kucoin which I don't think it can compete with them easily.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YFI and YFII on: October 15, 2020, 09:58:26 AM
As far as I know, YFII is a fork of YFI , a lame copy!
After YFI FOMO, a lot of yield farming coins and also scam coins have born, Now they have been so many that seems confusing, I saw YFI when it was 92$ and I didn't buy it, the only stupid I could do it to do nothing about it and i did that!
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the next trend for 2021? on: October 13, 2020, 09:12:31 AM
NFT is not anything new, it has existed since 2017 and started with Crypto Kitties and I bought a Kitty too  Grin where you could breed your kitty with others or let others breed yours and get paid for it  Grin , after that Binance launched Sand in its launchpad, and sand is doing well with NFTs and Minecraft.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we all fools on believing the word "HOLD"? on: October 13, 2020, 09:09:16 AM
It is sad to read that, I have had some of shitcoins too from 2017 and now they are underground, coins like Lion, blue ethereum , Credits. after those miserable coins I decided to be on bitcoin and USDT if I want to hold something for long term if I buy anything else is that I sell it whether it goes up or hit my stop loss, never get sank with any other of shitcoins gain, no thank you.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: October 12, 2020, 06:02:57 AM
Mostly they get trapped because they want to get rich in one single night, it has happened to me, to trust some unknown project and send the money hope for the best, profit comes with risk, the more profit comes with bigger risk, It was a tough lesson for me, but I learned a lesson to don't invest in an unknown project again, to don't invest in any project with empty Github.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which wallet do you think is the best? on: October 12, 2020, 05:35:37 AM
I would say those wallets you can have the private key and store in outside the internet but still, even those wallets seem leakable, that what happened with uniswap wallet, I suggest don't keep a lot of money in a single wallet and spread them in different wallets, it is like a house full of jewelry, would be attractive for thieves but when you spread it , makes it less attractive at least.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / List of Defi scams on: October 11, 2020, 07:01:19 AM
https://amplyfi.money/: Rug pulled after collecting 2,500 ETH from investors. Their social media and websites are gone

Beer Garden Finance: Founder holds over 50% of the token supply in his personal wallet. When our community asked for more details such as a github link for the project, or timelocks for the tokens they were banned from the Telegram group.

Burn Vault Finance ($BFV): Allegedly rug pulled. Their Telegram and social media no longer exist.

CBDAO ($BREE): The project had a presale for $SBREE tokens which would be swapped for $BREE. One of the admin wallets exploited a backdoor in the SBREE token contract, minted 50,000 SBREE, converted it to BREE and sold it on the market, pushing down the price of BREE at the expense of other holders. The 50,000 BREE was sold for under 200 ETH.

Degenballz: staking may steal 1% of your LP tokens.

Emerald Mine (EMD): User tokens worth nearly USD$2.5mil that were supposedly locked under a smart contract were moved to another account. Fortunately, cryptocurrency exchange ChangeNow managed to stop the sale of 135,020 EOS. However, this only represents a small fraction of the total amount stolen.

http://lv.finance/: Falsified audit results, after investors deposited their funds in they found they were unable to withdraw. The team has disappeared.

Minions Farm: Has cute Minions but will access all your assets when you connect your wallet to the Minions Wallet site.

https://steaks.finance/: Developers apparently had trouble interacting with their own timelock. Though some consider it may be due to a problem with their code rather than ill-intentions.

http://tomatoes.finance/: Hacker triggered simple permission granting and withdrew tokens.

UniCat ($MEOW): Back door in smart contracts allowed UniCat to keep control over users’ tokens even after they were withdrawn from the pool. Around USD$200,000 worth of crypto has supposedly been stolen.

Unirocket ($URCKT): Apparently rug-pulled, cannot be located on social media.

http://yfdex.finance/: Project promoted themselves on Twitter for 2 days, took a total of USD$20mil of investor funds and absconded.

93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Claim that 400 UNI on: October 11, 2020, 06:54:09 AM
2 wallets I traded on uniswap but did not get them, not available.

I had a wallet that did some transactions before 1st of September and I got my UNIs , hopefully, sold them on 4.5$ and now it is 3.5$, thankfully it helped me to make up for some compensation from a scam that has been rug pulled, And It was one of the sweetest airdrops for me , I hope Other DEXes do the same too and someday we wake up and cover all of our losses!
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram is trash on: October 11, 2020, 06:48:18 AM
It is like a knife, you can use it in a good or bad way, It all depends on you, Usually, every project got a telegram group to notify the members and also there are scammers too, there are some people getting paid to increase the numbers of your telegram group, or to report it so you have your group closed due to the violence or any other reasons, but it exists and in a bright side, you can ask your questions there and get some useful information out of it.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Now Bounty Program totally worth less !! 90% Bounties are scam on: October 10, 2020, 07:12:27 AM
You should have a look at bounty manager, Usually, they do research before accept bounty managing of a bounty because if it turns to a scam it could cause them negative trusts, Also always check their website of the bounty that you are intending to join that and see their Git hub page, Usually, they don't have a new Git hub accounts if they are real and their codes have been edited multiple times!
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CFTC Charges BitMEX on: October 10, 2020, 07:07:45 AM
Btc Pumped today!
The absence of BitMEX means the next bull market will be significantly less manipulated (and healthier).Hopefully, the next manager is less nasty and doesn't cause that crazy flip-flop movement, I don't do leverage trading but I guess it should be safer these days!

Hold on to your butts. Cool

99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / AmplYfi just rugg-pulled!!! on: October 06, 2020, 02:46:58 PM
AmplYfi (fork of Ampleforth) raised 2,500 ETH in its private sale and appears to be a scam. The project removed its chats and social networks, and the site says "AMPLYFI contract was hacked".
